This song, produced and written by Hyunsik, is a song promising someone that they’ll see each other again in a better place. And this concert was their last concert before the start of their enlistment, so it was such a heartfelt goodbye to the fans. Absolutely incredible.
This Someday was the saddest not only bc it's a song about hoping to meet someone despite the uncertainty of the future but also bc this was the last OT7 concert (we didn't expect it would) and it's just two days in time for Eunkwang to enlist in the army. This was the concert where everyone who was there cried their lungs out. Saying goodbye for a while. And i could never see this song like the first time i hear it bc of what happened to Ilhoon. Everytime i heard this song my heart cries.
you know that cant be easy, I could only imagine what its like to pause your whole career for military service not knowing that whether or not it is waiting for you after
I genuinely want to thank you for reacting to BTOB. I've been watching each and every reaction you did since the Killing Voice (and even looked a few other reactions to groups I like - like Infinite, FTIsland, N.Flying). What I like is how humble you are, yet you manage to indeed enjoy what you see and convey it not "to say what other want to hear" but what you actually think about the performance. You comment in an objective way and even provide some details and "educational" material. I appreciate it. I also like the song choice you are doing and that you are reviewing not only MV but also some stage performances (moreover, some less popular once). To some extent, I would love you to react some more to their MVs, but I understand that you may not have time or desire to revisit the same song twice since you are not a hardcore fan and this channel is more for "getting acquainted" purposes. Anyway, thank you for your interest in BTOB. I am happy that you like their music and are willing to dig deeper. You indeed should also watch some of their variety shows, behind the scenes or interviews - they are hilarious (one of their variety programs was called Beatcom - but it has a lot of episodes; among the best were BTOB Diary (I especially like the second one (B+) for 5 episodes), "Cool men" - a bunch of episodes when they were competing in different areas to prove who is the "coolest man" BTOB Three Meals - 6 episodes of chilling in the village while playing games nobody asked them to play and being their usual dorky-selves th-cam.com/video/KVqOCHl79qI/w-d-xo.html ). As for some songs I would love you to check out are "Yes I Am", "Show and Prove", "Friend", "Red Lie", "Guitar", "The Feeling", "Whiskey", "Dance With Me", "Heaven" and so many more. Also maybe sometime later you would explore their solo projects (as you've already noticed in their Guide all of members have somewhat different music styles (Changsub (rock-ish style), Sungjae (more pop, but you should check his recent comeback which is a rock one - "Be Somebody" being a title song), Eunkwang (ballads), Hyunsik (alternative rock), Minhyuk (tracks in his albums are the most versatile in genres) and Peniel (rap, dance). Also, I saw you started "Reserved and Quiet Idol" series - but I actually would recommend another one. R&Q Idols were a good start and many thanks to the creator, but the content is a bit repetitive and is really more about them being loud rather than funny. In my opinion, I recommend you to start with smaller pieces like - th-cam.com/video/zQLiWrCU9G4/w-d-xo.html or these compilations (this TikTok one I really recommend) - part 1 th-cam.com/video/PVIqgZUoARA/w-d-xo.html and part 2 th-cam.com/video/MONRWlya3aw/w-d-xo.html. Also, these series are a bit better than Reserved and Quiet Idols, but both are okay - th-cam.com/video/psb8uNe2pks/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygURYnRvYiBmdW5ueSBwYXJ0IDE%3D. But, of course, reaction to any content which is to your liking would be appreciated. One more interesting type of content to watch is their Recording Day videos. I will post here the 2 from the last Wind&Wish comeback, but you can find more from other albums - th-cam.com/video/hg6azMe-aSA/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUSYnRvYiByZWNvcmRpbmcgZGF5, th-cam.com/video/hhZuj-Kv_EA/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUSYnRvYiByZWNvcmRpbmcgZGF5. These Recording days show their Behind-the-Scenes on producing their own songs and recording it in a booth. I feel like you may like it. (NB: And this is th-cam.com/video/8Cn7HtITvbM/w-d-xo.html a chipmunk compilation between these two to show differences in directing style between Hyunsik and Minhyuk). And to leave this comment on a bright note - a video of them singing while being tipsy (well, upon watching you at least will be able to judge who holds liquor the best) which they did when their song "Missing you" simultaneously topped almost all Korean music charts - th-cam.com/video/vLEdZykdVVM/w-d-xo.html.
@irynaromanchuk883 thank you so much! I truly appreciate it! Honestly I do love them! And honestly this is why I love OWC because I can get truly acquainted to the group and usually that means I can get into the deeper stuff. I wanted to pin this so I can get these links easier in the future! Also you say you like Infinite, if you haven't seen it before I did do a OWC for them as well. I hope that I can continue to provide a good experience here! I truly appreciate you and your time! 😊😊😊
@@Killdeer25 You are doing good with this channel. Keep going. I somehow missed Infinite week, but will definitely try to catch up. The only problem is lack of time🥲, but will surely do it.
Thank you, Aaron, for the mixed voice explanation. Adding to the emotion of the concert, and especially this song (that says I hope we see each other in the future as better people), is that the group had decided to have all 6 Korean members complete their service within 4 years, and this would be their last performance. Sungjae said in an interview that he was so emotional because they were all going in, but in steps so that Peniel wouldn't be alone. That had him going in fairly young for an idol. This was their 6th year and Eunkwang talked about how 7 years was a scary time because it was when contracts needed to be renewed, or not. Having had a shaky first 3 years and knowing that some people are injured in the military (I believe Minhyuk was), there were a lot of unknowns for a group of 7 who were solidly family at this point. I think it's safe to say that this group was stressed if one suffered long term with alopecia and another was smoking marijuana in a country like Korea. Even being a Melody only since 2021, I always get very emotional when I see them perform this song.
of course! that is a bit of a difficult technique to master, its wild that they can all do it so well! I honestly think that was a good choice, just get it all done as soon as possible, good call! I was just about to ask if Penial needed to do service since he was born in Chicago. Ohhh! you are right! the cursed 7 year mark! I guess it would be real scary to stare down that road knowing what so many experiencing the curse.
Thank you so much for reacting to BTOB Someday… very sad but hopeful song. This concert was Eunkwang’s wish before BTOB begins their military enlistment era.
Yes, their theatrical style, emotional ballads, truly not my thing if this was any other group. But this song, with these guys? One of my favourites of all time. And I absolutely agree this style was the best choice for them. Debuting as a typical kpop boy group in the generation of EXO, BTS and so many others, this is what they needed to set them apart and no one else is like them.
yeah! what a kind of terrible time to debut when you have to go up against the two most successful KPop groups of all time, this very much was a good decision I think for BTOB
Todo este concierto fué muy emotivo por que Eunkwang tuvo que irse al ejército. Hoy en día este mismo concierto revierte más emoción porque es el último en que los veríamos a los 7 juntos(sin saberlo ni ellos ni nosotros) 😭💙
Interesting on the vocal lesson. Eunkwang actually relearn his technique after his military service, and he's a lot better now. I think I saw him talking abt it several times, that he's relearning everything because it's hard for him. And the process of relearning everything is really painful for quite some times, but he's more comfortable singing nowadays.
this stage 😭 .Yes this concert was their last stage before Eunkwang's enlistment and who knows it was also last ot7 concert.
Ah! I thought it was something like that, what a performance
This song, produced and written by Hyunsik, is a song promising someone that they’ll see each other again in a better place. And this concert was their last concert before the start of their enlistment, so it was such a heartfelt goodbye to the fans. Absolutely incredible.
wow! that is a great message, I can only imagine the feeling of having to put your career on pause! and the fear behind it all too

Their motto is: we don't sell records we sell emotions
100%

Yesss, until now, SOMEDAY is still on my very top list 😭💙
It's so good
This concert was very memorable. And this song is composed by Hyunsik.
Indeed it is! Hyunsic is so good
Eunkwang is the best voice BTOB for me. I love everyone bat EUNKWANG is just perfect ❤❤❤
I agree!
I'm still hoping for Ot7 to get back together someday
me too!
This probably is a BTOB song that I tend to just cry whenever I try singing. 😭
It was written by Hyunsik when he was drunk. 🥹
oh! I could see this being that song!

yes! I dont doubt the painful part, that is a long and patient process as well!
Someday ㅡ BTOB 노래들 명곡들이 많아요. 비투비 감성 노래 정말 남다른것 같아요.
외국 친구들도 알아보셨네요. ~(^----^)
I think you are right! its what makes them!
Gracias por proporcionarnos esas explicaciones a nivel de técnica vocal, hace interesante la experiencia de ver tus reacciones 😊
Sii! Los músicos tienen que hacer muchas cosas chicas para hacer música tan buena así
Yes we Melody called it (BTOB genre).. not KPOP..
It feels like that lol
their live is really good.
some of the best ever!
Thank you! This was such a helpful review.
You are so welcome! I am glad you liked it!
I miss btob stage 😢
yes me too!
