They are known as the ballad/harmony kings and they can make these crazy adlibs and harmonies without any effort at all. I know there are other great vocal groups out there who has 1 or 2 amazing vocalists. What's unique with BTOB is that they have 4 amazing vocalists..who can all be main vocals of the group. Plus..the rappers can sing so well, too..in fact the vocalists can even rap so well. They are a well rounded group and each member can sing, rap, dance and play instruments..they can act (2 are musical actors & 2 are movie actors)..they compose & produce their own songs (2 are songwriters/composers)..in fact, just this February, they established their own company (BTOB COMPANY). They may not be that famous globally..but they're really big in SK and are very much respected and sought after by many shows. It's a very common thing for shows to cast members for a variety show, get them as a judge/mentor on a reality show or vocal competition..get them as guests or feature artists..they are that known in the vocal realm. Added factor is that they are so funny and entertaining..no dull moment with them..they enjoy being silly and comical while hitting those notes and that's so crazy and amazing. They are definitely in the top of vocalists for Kpop. Changsub (With the orange trim) and Hyunsik ( white shirt and tie no sweater)were both trained extensively in college in one of the most difficult vocal programs to get accepted to in Korea at the time.

Yes I think BTOB belongs to the top tier as a vocal group. For me what sets them apart, aside from their great harmonies, is how they each have a distinct sound that complements each other so well. That's why they're my favorite group. Would really it if you react to more of their songs especially the live performances.
BtoB has some of the best Vocals in kpop. I love Eunkwang, the one in the navy sweater that showed off in Blue Moon. They have some good stages on Kingdom you should check out. Fun Fact they debuted a couple weeks before Exo.
Definitely one of the best vocalists in kpop! Not many groups that has FOUR top vocalists in their group, even for well known strong vocal groups! (I'm talking about similar groups to BTOB that debuted as a dance-group). But even for a quartet that was formed with a purpose to debut a vocal group, they are up there in the very top! In my opinion, in terms of technique, musicality and poetry, their rap members are also up there, especially with former member Ilhoon. BTOB are like those "super groups" were they pick super talented members from different groups and form a "unit" and release songs together! They're crazy! 25:02 Thank you for noticing Eunkwang's note there!! If you want to hear that note Eunkwang did in Finale Our Concert, I suggest the live performance in their 10th year anniversary concert. It's soooo fricking powerful but Dingo post production team had to tone their mics down/mute them because their vocals were getting into each others mics so it sounded like 12 people were singing. They came out and apologised for it lol, because they saw all the disappointed comments saying "I wish there were less post production" lol. I sure was one of them, becuase otherwise we would have heard that note Eunkwang did and several other notes they muted were you can see the members singing but there's no sound, the harmonies is also a bit toned down for certain members. BUT we can just go watch any live performance of thses songs instead! That's what I love about BTOB!! 100% authentic live with minimal backtrack that gets "outvoted" by their live vocals anyway! BTOB are so good. I'm always so amazed at how clear and crisp their voices are. Thank god Killing Voice and It's Live exist so we get live mashups of artists' discographies like this.
For me personally, I would rank BTOB and EXO for the best vocal 3rd gen kpop male group. For 2nd gen group, OT5 TVXQ was unrivaled in terms of vocal. However, 2nd gen got soooo many great singers, and for the male group, apart from OT5 TVXQ, I also love the vocals of beast/highlight(especially yoseob), FT Island's Hongki, 2am, 2pm(especially Jun.K and Junho), Super Junior(KRY), Shinee, and Infinite(especially Sunggyu and Woohyun).
@Killdeer25 They are really2 good. TVXQ was the first K-pop group that I stan since back around 2006/2007 because of how talented they all are, especially when they harmonize or do acapella. My bias at that time was Xia Junsu and Max Changmin. But their breakup was really heartbreaking, and since then, there is a feeling of lost everytime I see them. I would say they are like a first love to me (beautiful but painful), and I do wish they get a lot of love and continue to be successful. 🥰
Thanks for your reaction to BTOB! I think their individual singing ability is excellent. I listen to a lot of K-pop music, but when I heard them sing, I cried spontaneously for the first time. BTOB are not only good singers, but their voices have the power to heal people.
Changsub (orange color on his sweater) has one of my favorite voices in Korean music I've heard so far.. I'd say rn he's tied in first place with Bae Doohoon from the crossover group Forestella.
It is such very rare that they added emotion in their voice. It is so incredible because , yes- some also has t a good vocal - but the emotion. Anyway , i am not a kpop fan but BTOB caught me and really drag me into their music
There aren't many great vocalists in KPOP idol group but BTOB stands out not just because of their vocals but the HARMONIZATION that they deliver is a rare quality in a boy group. Most groups have one or two outstanding vocalists but rarely take the difficult layers of riff and runs on the background like these crackheads. Oh ya forgot to inform you they are also the top tier of super crazy loud wacko idols. But they're are more settled down now, must be because they are reaching the ajjushi level of age 😂. But I adore them still.
They really do, theor harmonization reminded me of the three tenors, and they nearly got operatic as well! Its so crazy! Yes, age calms all of the weirdest ones down even just a little lol
This was one of my favorite BTOB Killing Voice reactions because of the shock and joy showing on your face all through the video. I've only been listening to kpop since the pandemic and I immediately became a Melody during Kingdom so I haven't heard many other vocal-heavy groups. I can say that I compare every other vocal group from any genre to BTOB as the standard because I love harmonies, adlibs and hopeful (even in sad situations) lyrics. I recommend that you watch the Ilhoon Squad guide to see some of their many vocal and non-vocal talents. I agree with you that it is insane that they can have so much talent and fun in one group. Also, you will love the subunit's Kingdom Legendary War stages.

The technique is techniqueing! 😂 But yes, it’s safe to say that in the industry BtoB are well known for their top tier vocals and amazing harmonies. They don’t usually have insane choreography like some of these groups do (just regular choreography) but I don’t think anyone would dispute their vocal talent. Even their rappers sing well.
Yes i do rank them up there (even with my limited knowledge). BTOB Eunkwang ➕ Ateez Jongho ➕ SKZ Seungmin together performed a song on 'Kingdom Legendary Wars' ( IU's - ' Love Poem' ). They were all wonderful & Eunkwang knocked my socks off ❣👏 A couple of times it looks like they knocked your socks off too Aaron 💯 I loved seeing that!
They got a honorary reputation as one of the best vocal group on K-Pop but also the most chaotic on K-Pop too...when you're a melody it's always hard to find another group that have the same cuallity with so much tallen and also a bunch of goofball at the same times, so I could say you must be have very much a unique preference in a weird way to be a melody....and when you be one you'll stuck with them until God knows how long 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Waahhh! My EXO and Shinee bias wreckers!!! I'm so happy you got to this! I would of course rank them with the best of the best and they are widely considered to be so. The fans are called Melody which if that isn't the best fan name for this group, I don't know what is. So left to right they are: Minhyuk, the Ace, rapper, singer, dancer, songwriter, producer, also goes by Huta as his solo career stage name. Sungjae, maknae, crazy good vocals and a great actor. Eunkwang, leader, insane vocalist, biggest clown in kpop, musical actor, I'm pretty sure he also produces. Hyunsik, bias wrecking me for all vocalists even within this group, his range!!! also writes songs, school friends with D.O. and my birthday twin. Changsub, my bias, definitely considered one of the best vocal techniques out there, musical actor, military buddies with Shinee's Key (that's how I found BtoB), also tied for biggest clown in kpop with Eunkwang. Peniel, rapper, former main dancer but he has a lot of knee issues these days, from Chicago. There is another former member, Ilhoon, I mentioned before. He left the group due to drug possession charges unfortunately. I love them so much even though technically their song style is not what I would consider my favorite. But they are such beyond amazing singers, I don't even care. And they are without doubt the most unserious bunch of clowns. I've mentioned before but if you can watch Kingdom Legendary War, it is a must watch for these guys. Unfortunately Sungjae and Hyunsik were still serving their military and couldn't be in it but I still watch their performances from that show at least every other week.

They are indeed amongst the top vocalist in Kpop Industry, no denial in this. It is a fact, and even if u ask anyone in the kpop industry, they will admit it. And I’m saying this not as their die hard fan 😂 I have other groups that I am biased to, but when we are talking about a vocal group, BTOB is definitely one of the top. And their rappers are good too. Not to say minhyuk (the far left) and paniel (the far right) not good (they are really good as well) but Ilhoon (the 7th member who has left the group) is actually one of the best rapper in the industry as well.
I'm not a vocal expert, but as for me, BTOB definitely belongs to the top tier groups! Btw if we're speaking about vocals, my personal most favorite groups are: *EXO, BTOB, SHINee, Seventeen, Monsta X, SuJu and Stray Kids* . Not only vocalists, but ALL of the rappers in the groups CAN sing, and they're doing it so good! Except EXO Sehun, of course. I mean, he can sing, but the company doesn't let him sing a lot, and it seems like he's fine with it (and I'm NOT cause I simply love his vocals)

If you just consider the vocalists…they are definitely top tier. Sungjae would probably be considered their “weakest” vocalist which is insane because he could definitely be a main vocal in another group. In fact, I’m my opinion he is better than quite a few.

I'm an Inspirite and discovered BTOB watching different shows with Infinite (thanks to Sungkyu and Ilhoon, who appeared on Weekley idol together 😃). And now i love both groups equally. Can't wait for your next videos with both groups 😊 P.s. Also according to vocals and performances i want recommend to you listen to A.C.E. They are so amazing. One of the members (his name Lee Donghun) right now participating in the survival show Build Up where Seo Eunkwang (the guy with high notes at the end) is one of the judges. This show is made for creating strong vocal group of 4 people. A.C.E are known for their hard style music and hard choreographies mostly, but their vocals are also on point. Among 5 members 3 of them are main vocals and 2 rappers who are also can be main vocals in the other teams. Not intimately familiar with BTOB's catalog; however, I do know that they are highly regarded. Eun Kwang was one of the "Voice Readers" on Second World, along with Kim Bum-soo, who is considered one of the top South Korean vocalists. From what little I've heard from him, seems to be primarily a balladeer. The others were Jungyup, Jeong Eun-ji (Apink Main Vocal) and Kim Min-seok.
It's been so long since I listened to BtoB and I thought they disbanded. But I'm glad they are still together tho. I remember listening to them along with Block B, Teen Top, and UKiss etc. Now that I see them again, I can't believe how much Lee Minhyuk looks so similar to Soobin and also his personality to speaking voice reminds me of him too. At least to me they do. It's similar to how Taemin and Jimin look and dance alike as well.

I think their individual singing ability is excellent. I listen to a lot of K-pop music, but when I heard them sing, I cried spontaneously for the first time. BTOB are not only good singers, but their voices have the power to heal people.

Changsub (orange color on his sweater) has one of my favorite voices in Korean music I've heard so far.. I'd say rn he's tied in first place with Bae Doohoon from the crossover group Forestella.

It is such very rare that they added emotion in their voice. It is so incredible because , yes- some also has t a good vocal - but the emotion.

There aren't many great vocalists in KPOP idol group but BTOB stands out not just because of their vocals but the HARMONIZATION that they deliver is a rare quality in a boy group.
Most groups have one or two outstanding vocalists but rarely take the difficult layers of riff and runs on the background like these crackheads.
Oh ya forgot to inform you they are also the top tier of super crazy loud wacko idols. But they're are more settled down now, must be because they are reaching the ajjushi level of age 😂. But I adore them still.
They really do, theor harmonization reminded me of the three tenors, and they nearly got operatic as well! Its so crazy!

This was one of my favorite BTOB Killing Voice reactions because of the shock and joy showing on your face all through the video. I've only been listening to kpop since the pandemic and I immediately became a Melody during Kingdom so I haven't heard many other vocal-heavy groups. I can say that I compare every other vocal group from any genre to BTOB as the standard because I love harmonies, adlibs and hopeful (even in sad situations) lyrics. I recommend that you watch the Ilhoon Squad guide to see some of their many vocal and non-vocal talents. I agree with you that it is insane that they can have so much talent and fun in one group. Also, you will love the subunit's Kingdom Legendary War stages.

The technique is techniqueing! 😂 But yes, it’s safe to say that in the industry BtoB are well known for their top tier vocals and amazing harmonies. They don’t usually have insane choreography like some of these groups do (just regular choreography) but I don’t think anyone would dispute their vocal talent. Even their rappers sing well.

They got a honorary reputation as one of the best vocal group on K-Pop but also the most chaotic on K-Pop too...when you're a melody it's always hard to find another group that have the same cuallity with so much tallen and also a bunch of goofball at the same times, so I could say you must be have very much a unique preference in a weird way to be a melody....and when you be one you'll stuck with them until God knows how long 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Well this is from my perspective as a melody for quite some times now.....

Minhyuk, the Ace, rapper, singer, dancer, songwriter, producer, also goes by Huta as his solo career stage name.
Sungjae, maknae, crazy good vocals and a great actor.
Eunkwang, leader, insane vocalist, biggest clown in kpop, musical actor, I'm pretty sure he also produces.
Hyunsik, bias wrecking me for all vocalists even within this group, his range!!! also writes songs, school friends with D.O. and my birthday twin.
Changsub, my bias, definitely considered one of the best vocal techniques out there, musical actor, military buddies with Shinee's Key (that's how I found BtoB), also tied for biggest clown in kpop with Eunkwang.
Peniel, rapper, former main dancer but he has a lot of knee issues these days, from Chicago.
There is another former member, Ilhoon, I mentioned before. He left the group due to drug possession charges unfortunately.
I love them so much even though technically their song style is not what I would consider my favorite. But they are such beyond amazing singers, I don't even care. And they are without doubt the most unserious bunch of clowns. I've mentioned before but if you can watch Kingdom Legendary War, it is a must watch for these guys. Unfortunately Sungjae and Hyunsik were still serving their military and couldn't be in it but I still watch their performances from that show at least every other week.

They are indeed amongst the top vocalist in Kpop Industry, no denial in this. It is a fact, and even if u ask anyone in the kpop industry, they will admit it.
And I’m saying this not as their die hard fan 😂 I have other groups that I am biased to, but when we are talking about a vocal group, BTOB is definitely one of the top.
And their rappers are good too.
Not to say minhyuk (the far left) and paniel (the far right) not good (they are really good as well) but Ilhoon (the 7th member who has left the group) is actually one of the best rapper in the industry as well.
I'm not a vocal expert, but as for me, BTOB definitely belongs to the top tier groups!
Btw if we're speaking about vocals, my personal most favorite groups are: *EXO, BTOB, SHINee, Seventeen, Monsta X, SuJu and Stray Kids* . Not only vocalists, but ALL of the rappers in the groups CAN sing, and they're doing it so good! Except EXO Sehun, of course. I mean, he can sing, but the company doesn't let him sing a lot, and it seems like he's fine with it (and I'm NOT cause I simply love his vocals)
Sehun is such a good leader, I wish they would let him sing more too. He has to be too 3 kpop leaders ever

If you just consider the vocalists…they are definitely top tier. Sungjae would probably be considered their “weakest” vocalist which is insane because he could definitely be a main vocal in another group. In fact, I’m my opinion he is better than quite a few.

Definitely the god tier of vocals in kpop (or otherwise). The only other male kpop groups that come close are Exo and TVXQ.

I'm an Inspirite and discovered BTOB watching different shows with Infinite (thanks to Sungkyu and Ilhoon, who appeared on Weekley idol together 😃). And now i love both groups equally. P.s. Also according to vocals and performances i want recommend to you listen to A.C.E. They are so amazing. One of the members (his name Lee Donghun) right now participating in the survival show Build Up where Seo Eunkwang (the guy with high notes at the end) is one of the judges. This show is made for creating strong vocal group of 4 people. A.C.E are known for their hard style music and hard choreographies mostly, but their vocals are also on point. Among 5 members 3 of them are main vocals and 2 rappers who are also can be main vocals in the other teams. For vocals i want to recommend their covers:

Not intimately familiar with BTOB's catalog; however, I do know that they are highly regarded. Eun Kwang was one of the "Voice Readers" on Second World, along with Kim Bum-soo, who is considered one of the top South Korean vocalists. From what little I've heard from him, seems to be primarily a balladeer. The others were Jungyup, Jeong Eun-ji (Apink Main Vocal) and Kim Min-seok.

It's been so long since I listened to BtoB and I thought they disbanded. But I'm glad they are still together tho. I remember listening to them along with Block B, Teen Top, and UKiss etc. Now that I see them again, I can't believe how much Lee Minhyuk looks so similar to Soobin and also his personality to speaking voice reminds me of him too. At least to me they do. It's similar to how Taemin and Jimin look and dance alike as well.
I have heard of good things from Block B, I should check it out, the other two I am very much in the dark about this!
