A very talented singer, sings beautifully. With all humility,I have one suggestion to offer: she needs to be able to sing "effortlessly", which is what distinguishes very good artistes from great ones. I would strongly suggest western style voice training, and light weight training to strengthen the core(abs and back). Then the effort can stay below the diaphragm, and one can "let go" on top. On occassion I can hear effort at the top, which spoils the listeners experience. Maybe I am wrong... but feel like saying this.
Excellent comment!!!! A valuable piece of advice from someone who is knowledgeable! We can see effort on the face of Lataji, the music goddess of all ages. YesuDas and chitra has facial expression and nods while they sing. But Janakiyamma, when she sings and go through amazing things, we cannot even see a lip movement!!!! I think what matters is ‘ voice be effortless’. Thanks Ji

As Pandit Babanrao Haldankar notes in his book "Aesthetics of Agra and Jaipur Traditions", "Insistence on Pure Akara: As the discipline of this gayaki dictates, the Vilambit after singing sthayi (and antara) of a bandish is to be performed with akara only."
