      Except most palestinians and people that are natural speakers of arameic hebrew and other similar languages are also semite...so the term "antisemite" is not really fitting. It's like calling Boko Haram racists for attacking black christians in Nigeria, they both have the same origin and both are black

      Anti-Semitism refers to a systematic feeling of dislike exclusively toward Jews (and not Semites) as a people or “race.”
      It can take the form of a hostile opinion or attitude, discrimination (ghetto, expulsion), racism, persecution.
      The origin of the word "anti-Semite" is attributed to the journalist Wilhelm Marr, in 1879 in an anti-Jewish pamphlet.

    Ayaan is a brilliant person! As a liberal, Hispanic I agree with her! Look at what has happened in US college and universities. Social sciences have become bastions of hate for Whites, Jews, Israel and the West, but don't allow minority students to see any failings in their own societies. So I can blame all of my failings on "Whitey", colonialism. There is no mention of Syria killing over 600,000 Syrians, Muslim women and Gays being treated in their countries horribly, also in Africa, China putting over 1 million Muslims in concentration camps, Sudan's starvation and murder of over 1 million Sudanese civilians. The far left is as dangerous as the far right to the US and the West!

    "A woman who was married to central Banker...Netherlands...Jewish area". Didn't Netherlands, before Geert Wilder, always vote against Israel at UN anyway? Similarly, hasn't public sector institutions and employees been more anti-Semitic than private sector in UK? I'd include any financed by taxation such as BBC as well as Academia. Wheresoever, causes are diverse. They just needed respectability. Which they gave themselves in no small part. Still, on other hand, many of these are women, or wimmin. And should they become subject to Sharia in some nascent form or another, even by free will, then my laughs on them.

    ...During the period from 1941 to 1945, from 415 to 440 thousand Muslim volunteers of the following categories served in the nazi German armed forces (see Table 2):
    - Arabs and Indian Muslims - 5 and 2 thousand, respectively;
    - Muslims - citizens of the Balkan states - about 115-125 thousand;
    - Muslims - citizens of the USSR - about 290-305 thousand people. [229]
    This equates to approximately 22-23% of the total strength of foreign volunteer forces and 2.5-2.6% of the total strength of the German armed forces for the period from 1939 to 1945. As for the percentage of Muslim and non-Muslim volunteers in each national category, then it was next. Among Arab volunteers there were 100% of them, among Indians - about 70%, among representatives of the Balkan peoples - about 42%, and among volunteers from citizens of the USSR - about 20%. This number of volunteers could staff an average of 34-35 German infantry divisions or divisional-type formations (see Table 4).
    In fact, the following units and formations of the German armed forces were staffed by Muslim volunteers, either entirely or together with German (or other foreign) personnel.
    Arab volunteers (about 5 thousand people in total) were part of one regimental-type special forces unit, as well as 5 battalions (either separate or as part of larger units).
    Indian Muslim volunteers (about 2 thousand in total) were part of about 10 of the 15 companies of the 950th Indian Motorized Regiment.
    Balkan Muslims were distributed as follows:
    Albanians (about 60-65 thousand people in total) were part of 4 rifle regiments, 4 “fascist” police battalions and 3 territorial police regiments. Subsequently, most of these units were disbanded, and their personnel went to staff the 21st Albanian SS Division “Skan-derbeg”.
    Bosnian Muslims (about 55-60 thousand people in total) initially served either in the armed forces of the Independent State of Croatia or were part of the local Croat-Muslim militia (regiment/brigade). Subsequently, all these units were disbanded, and their personnel went to staff two Bosnian SS divisions: the 13th “Handschar” and the 23rd “Kama”. In addition, one battalion of Bosnian Muslims operated on the Eastern Front as part of the Croatian Legion from 1941 to 1943.
    And finally, the largest category - Soviet Muslims - manned the following units and formations:
    Volunteers from the republics of Central Asia and Kazakhstan (“Turkestanis”) (about 180 thousand people in total) were part of 26 reinforced field, reserve, labor and utility battalions; 111 marching, economic, sapper, railway and road construction companies; 303rd Infantry Regiment, 162nd Turkic Infantry Division; and one battle group (regiment) of the East Turkic SS unit.
    North Caucasian volunteers (about 28-30 thousand people in total) were part of 9 reinforced field battalions; one battalion of the Highlander special forces unit; 3 sapper, railway and road construction companies; 2 serf regiments; 1st battle group of the Caucasian SS unit; and a separate Sonderkommando "Shamil", which consisted of three groups up to a platoon strength.
    Azerbaijani volunteers (about 25-35 thousand people in total) were part of 15 reinforced field battalions; 1 battalion of the Special Forces "Highlander"; 21 marching, construction and economic companies; 314th Infantry Regiment, 162nd Turkic Infantry Division; and 1 battle group of the Caucasian SS unit. [231]
    Volga-Tatar volunteers (about 40 thousand people in total) were part of 7 reinforced field battalions; 15 economic, sapper, railway and road construction companies; and 1 battle group of the East Turkic SS unit.
    Crimean Tatar volunteers (about 15-20 thousand people in total) were part of 14 self-defense companies; 8 battalions of auxiliary order police; 1 mountain ranger regiment (then brigade); 1st battle group of the Eastern Turkic SS unit; and also - as “voluntary assistants” - the 35th SS Police Grenadier Division.

    The whole cultural Christian thing reminds me of someone whose loved one has gone missing holding onto hope that the loved one may turn up. While that sort of hope might help provide a sense of purpose and cohesion and comfort amongst the searchers in the initial days and weeks after the disappearance, there does come a point where the healthy thing to do is to say “ok, this is my reality now - my loved one is not here, and I need to figure out life without them”.
    I’d be very curious about whether the Ayaan or anyone who agrees with her would have an answer for two questions.
    Firstly, how would you know that the time has come to move on from Christianity and try to build something new?
    And secondly, would you still identify as a Christian in a hypothetical world where Christianity seemed to have either a neutral or a negative effect on civil cohesion?
