    Your outlook is very similar to a dear neighbour and friend we lost 6 months ago, I had the great pleasure to know her for the last 18 months of her life. She had melanoma in her eye, discovered when she broke her glasses and had an eye exam when she went to get them fixed. She knew the cancer would have seeded to her liver and would activate in time, she got 7 years before it did. She chose to just deal with it and go palliative. Like you, she decided not to go through treatments that woukd reduce her enjoyment of the time she had left. She had all the conversations and everyone knew her last wishes.. the main ones were no funeral, and for her ashes to go in the beautiful wooden box with her husbands ashes (it sat next to her armchair), and she left money for her daughter and grandaughter to take their ashes from Australia back to New Zealand and spread them at the lake they spent holidays at when they were newlyweds. I love your outlook and your planning. Stay strong and do things your way.... huggz from Australia

    Hi Francine...I am a fellow "low-grader." I was diagnosed in 2013. Over the course of years it was determined my large solid tumors were high grade and all the little implants all over my colon, omentum, and diaphragm. were low-grade. I just learned last week it has spread to my liver. I started back on Letrozole and Ribociclib (kisqali). I have had so many different treatments, this one is a long shot but the trial has been showing some good results. All my very best to you....this is NOt easy! Hugs and love....Mary in Alaska

      Thanks for checking in Mary. I'm sorry you have to go through this journey, too. They still don't know enough about this and success stories seem to be short term. How is your blood sugar? Mekenist threw mine up too high. Now they want me to try Letrozole but I may get the same results, plus I already have arthritis. I'm familiar with your trial and hope you do well.

    Francine, I believe in miracles as well. My son was born with a very serious and complex heart defect. The data showed that he would only live 2 months. I’m very happy to say my son turns 40 this year and he has a great quality of life. I know God has been watching over him since he was born and continues to do so. I know God will watch over you as well. Take care.

    I like to talk to people too, but on all things medical. I’m also very spiritual and a sensitive. I too found your channel from Paul in Perth. It’s so serendipitous that you started your channel saying you love to work with people on grief issues and being helpful in that way…this was before your diagnosis of cancer. Doesn’t that seem ironic? Your kinship with wanting at one time to be a mortician, with helping grieving people and those giving people comfort, seems like a path to me. Do you ever think of it that way? Can you do cards on yourself? Can your guides give you advice on your journey thus far? I listen to podcasts on spiritual matters and meditation. I found Tara Brach’s TH-cam channel very helpful and comforting. Try it and see what you think. She’s AMAZING in all things spiritual! 🥰

    • @FrancineHasCancer
      @FrancineHasCancer  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it really is very ironic. I had a fascination with the other side since I was a child. I have a homily video up called Divine Synchronicity. Yes, I have card I do once in a while, but I go with my gut most of the time. Thanks for being here!

    I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2023. I had surgery, chemo and radiation. I'm doing well. But I think about what I would do if it came back. I don't know if I would go through alot of nasty treatment again. I'd rather live than be sick.

    Hi Francine, Karla 62 in Oklahoma encouraged to come visit you from Paul in Perth. So glad I popped over as I’ve not seen you pop up on my Home Page. You’re such a beautiful lady, I am so sorry that your battling a recurrence of Ca again. Yes, so many think if the patient and or person looks great, they are t sick for sure not terminal, but as a retired nurse, we see all walks of life. Being they had no symptoms other than fatigue and chronic nausea, yet continue to live a very busy life and look amazing. Yet they are terminal and fighting for their life. It’s amazing at what a difference it makes when we have Jesus Christ in our lives. I subscribed to your channel and follow 3 younger ladies that have and had battles Ca. It’s heartbreaking to say the least. I will go back and watch your later videos. Look forward to getting to know you.

    I’ve watched your videos because I have a lot of interest in supporting death with dignity. I hate seeing the sufferings and expenses of cancer….i have lost people in car crashes, in an instant, and have lost them over years of cancer..both are painful but only one of them brings grief before death. Emily the Mortician talks a lot about DWD and is working on passing it in more states. So glad you happen to live in a state that passed it.
    I haven’t watched much TH-cam in about a month or two, not sure when the last time I saw you on here was but you seem like you are feeling good about your decision, like it lifted a weight.
    Which way to send you money would give you the highest percent of it? Venmo has a free option right?

    • @FrancineHasCancer
      @FrancineHasCancer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you so much for writing me and for your support. Yes Venmo is the best option if you don't click on the toggle that says "for purchases". Thanks so much! I actually don't live in a state that has DwD, but I can travel to VT at least. It's an 8+ hour drive to my doctor there. I never wanted to come to this choice, but I do feel supported by friends, family and people like you on social media. Yes, I suppose I feel comfortable in my decision, even though I never make the popular ones. LOL

      Hi Black Sheep. Thank you for your continued support. Even though I went through a 3 year program for ordination, my ministerial training is not bible-based. That was only a small part of the curriculum. We are all part of the one consciousness. Organized religion dictates how to live your life. I don't believe that's what God is about. Just do good things for others (even when they don't return the favor). When you live by the golden rule, you can't go wrong
