    I've just signed up for this same one and i have my first screening next week! I searched for this video to give me an idea of what the whole thing entails. Thanks for your perspective, I'm less nervous now! £4000 is a LOOOT for me as a student so I'm very excited :)))

    Hi Novie, you were very entertaining and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed you talking through your experience ☺️ I was wondering if you had to fill in a lot forms by yourself? Was it all paper work or did they have an app? PS. I'm a college student in Ireland. And I'm wondering how your data was collected and stored. Thanks!

    • @NoviePoetri
      @NoviePoetri  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, thank you ☺️☺️ Yes, it was quite a lot paper work that I need to sign before the trials. In the middle of quarantine, everyday (3x a day) I need to record my symptoms (they provided the forms), and after the quarantine only once a week I need to fill in online (on a website) the same form as in quarantine. I gave them permission to keep my recordd for the study purpose.

    I’ve just signed up and waiting for a call back for one of these clinical trials and I am sooo worried about being selected to participate and be locked in a room for 2 weeks 🤣🤣😭😭 hopefully they get some good information out of me and I get a fair payment in return

    • @NoviePoetri
      @NoviePoetri  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know how you feel 😄 Even me was questioning myself If I was sure to participate, but as I consider it's "only" a drug for flu, and the fact that they have tested it before my batch, then I was just f*** it, I AM GOING 😅 The only period that I hate was the quarantine period tbh. It's such a long boring moment and the food that I don't really like. So I can suggest you to bring some books, probably you can read during the quarantine. Oh, and bring enough toiletries stock, like shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste. Other than that, good luck. Oh, the payment is pretty quick btw. Hopefully we talk about the same company 😄😄😄

    • @NoviePoetri
      @NoviePoetri  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Yeah, that's the question you really need to think before participating in any clinical trials. To be honest with you, I was after the money, as I was jobless for 3 months, and I thought it was "just" for flu virus, considering there are many many trials which more "dangerous" than this one, like a study about new drug to treat cancer, etc.. Well, they paid more, but I guess it's a pass for me. Flu vs cancer, if you know what I mean. Anyway, thanks for stopping by ☺️

  • @camilecamile4253
    @camilecamile4253 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    First of all, you are so brave to join this trials! Are you ok now? It is so interesting to know they injected you the meds first instead of the virus.

    • @NoviePoetri
      @NoviePoetri  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Camile, I am good (so far). Yeah, at that period I was jobless, then I thought it's a quick money, they paid good, so I took a part ahahaha.. I think they injected the meds first as they wanted to know the effectiveness of it against flu virus. Thank you for stopping by anyway! ☺️☺️☺️

    • @dddalton23
      @dddalton23 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@voltage3692 You're supposed to take a month off between studies. Sometimes you can go back to back if they don't use the verification system (VCT). $40-50,0000 a year isn't difficult to get doing 6 a year. If you find a way to do more you could really make a good living.

      Did you have any after effects years down the line

    • @dddalton23
      @dddalton23 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TheRoseline1 It's hard to say. I'm 41 now. My blood pressure is slightly elevated. I've gained some weight. I have noticed I feel more fatigued than I used to. Even still I think I'm healthier than most people in my age bracket. I think most of my ailments are due to age. I also think experiencing trouble down the line after taking meds is a myth. They only stay in your system for a certain amount of time. It doesn't make sense that they would still affect you after that time period.

    • @dddalton23
      @dddalton23 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@voltage3692 They say to skip a month, but you might be able to fit a couple of more in, so I'd always 6-8 if doing it full time. $45-60,000 a year can be achieved if you are getting into studies.

      Hey there. I'm doing good, safe and sound, thank you 🤩 The only negative thing I had was I felt disoriented after being discharged from quarantine. I was 16 days alone at hotel. Needed a bit time to adjust to normal life again 😃 Good luck for you 💫 Drink a lot of water daily, (as in my experience) they will collect your blood 2X a day 🤓
