Royal Armories are armories with a minimum rarity 1 rank higher than the usual minimum rarity of the floor. Combined with magic find, you could find a legendary weapon *really* early.
Mystic is my favorite. The buffed charms alone allows for a wide variety of strong builds. I like the starting poison infusion in case I get the trait that grants 50% attack speed if you’ve applied 3 elements.
Mystic can end up stronger than some of the "secret" characters, and that's kinda funny since they are supposed to be op. I only play mystic. I'm sure that getting a legendary weapon that does 300% more damage is completely normal and not overpowered
@@Retromation I believe it's an armory of super high rarity. I found one on a higher floor that had all legendary weapons offered, though I can't say for certain it's always the case.
Proficiency bonuses raise the scaling rank for weapons, just as Jeff mentioned(bumps it up by one rank per plus). Scaling provides bonus damage in a mostly straightforward fashion. It's (1.25% * scaling value * attribute) * base damage. Base damage includes damage bonus from upgrades. Scaling rank values: None = 0 E = 1 D = 2 C = 3 B = 4 A = 5 S = 6 S+ - SMax = 7-10 So, if we take a weapon with 100 base damage and E scaling in STR, and you have 10 points of STR: (10 * 1.25% * 1) * 100 = +12.5 damage If we then add Beef for +1 proficiency(D scaling): (10 * 1.25% * 2) * 100 = +25 damage Or add 5 more STR for 15 total, instead: (15 * 1.25% * 1) * 100 = +18.75 damage Main noteworthy thing here: Proficiency bonus has less relative impact on your damage output if your weapon already has high scaling. The difference between going from a multiplier of 3 to a multiplier of 4, is much more substantial than the difference between 6 to 7. Proficiency bonus traits tend to be a poor take if you already have A scaling or better, compared to taking some other DPS boosting trait. Edit: The 1.25% here has been nerfed to 1%. And might change again, who knows.
The flashing rainbow laser grid truly is A LOT to look at, but I somehow still like it. I love to watch you turn these runs that start somewhat slow into absolut destruction.
1st win on this character, I have that 4 sec invulnerability after being damaged and that more invulnerability after dash. I just dash around, and then stand still while melting boss
i think the jousting champion fight is cool conceptually if you notice, the bullets try to funnel you into the center, you're meant to dash through him like a jousting match
I tried thee dex tally/periodical build the other day, and it was strong, but I swear some of tbe interactions were just broken. Like the "per distance moved" thing didnt seem to do anything. I dunno, maybe some of it was just because "on combat start," but I remember something made me want to submit a bug report.
I agree with the Dodge Roll being changed in any way shape or form mess me up no matter how good it sounds. I remember in Enter the dungeon there is are a couple of items that: 1. Make your dodge rolls faster - I end up messing up because Im not used to faster rolls 2. The distance of your dodge rolls is farther - same as before. So for me, muscle memory is a must. Call it a skill issue, but yeah, I just can't have anything mess up my normal dodges
1:00:30 royal armory has 4 choices instead of 3 and upgrade all of them for a tier, a normal armory on early floor usually has uncommon, if it’s a royal armory it’ll be all at least rare instead
Had a run stuffed with periodical tagged items and traits. Couldn't get dynamo with multiple rerolls and obsidian dice. It ended up being one of my weakest runs even with the nuke sniper. Everything took too long to trigger, even with a supposed 75% increased tick rate. Periodical runs just feel bad without dynamo.
The solved rubik's cube sucks. i dont remember exactly what it does, but i remember having a rare charm that had the same effect but higher. not worth 2 floors of being charmless unless the effect is random or something
dude imagine finding the dragon charm on this character: SPOILERS the dragon charm grants 125% increased damage lasting for 10 rooms when you get gold. (so basically all the time)
You really should take the higher quality items. 9/10 times epics will be better even if it doesn't 100% fit your build. Legendaries should always be taken. Don't understand why you're not using your buffs instead of keeping them in your inventory?

fun tip - on bahamut when the shooting stars are filling the screen, the spot behind him is safe and you can dps like mad.

27:37 where u get weapon is royal armorer.
surely a _royal_ armory is a better version than a normal armory though?

epics on low dungeon levels, legendary on high dungeon levels@@Retromation
The Riny Togues is the epitome of fun
Proficiency bonuses raise the scaling rank for weapons, just as Jeff mentioned(bumps it up by one rank per plus).
Scaling provides bonus damage in a mostly straightforward fashion. It's (1.25% * scaling value * attribute) * base damage. Base damage includes damage bonus from upgrades.
Scaling rank values:
None = 0
E = 1
D = 2
C = 3
B = 4
A = 5
S = 6
S+ - SMax = 7-10
So, if we take a weapon with 100 base damage and E scaling in STR, and you have 10 points of STR:
(10 * 1.25% * 1) * 100 = +12.5 damage
If we then add Beef for +1 proficiency(D scaling):
(10 * 1.25% * 2) * 100 = +25 damage
Or add 5 more STR for 15 total, instead:
(15 * 1.25% * 1) * 100 = +18.75 damage
Main noteworthy thing here: Proficiency bonus has less relative impact on your damage output if your weapon already has high scaling. The difference between going from a multiplier of 3 to a multiplier of 4, is much more substantial than the difference between 6 to 7. Royal armory I believe is just 4-5 options instead of 2-3 (and tends to be better, though that could just be due to magic find chance).
The flashing rainbow laser grid truly is A LOT to look at, but I somehow still like it. I love to watch you turn these runs that start somewhat slow into absolut destruction.
I appreciate that you make these videos. Thanks
lets get some love for @OlexaYT both posted the seme character seme day same hour. you like this vid go watch the other!!

I've almost finished unlocking the "advanced" characters and while I have only played the necromancer, most of them look VERY strong.
I tried thee dex tally/periodical build the other day, and it was strong, but I swear some of tbe interactions were just broken. Like the "per distance moved" thing didnt seem to do anything. I dunno, maybe some of it was just because "on combat start," but I remember something made me want to submit a bug report.
I had Ocarina of Time BTW too which cut _periodically_ time by 50%, and maybe I just hit some kind of caps or cooldowns...

Lovin' this content, yo!
For science you have to do the rubiks cube completion next time it comes around!
I just did this. It gives you +1 luck.
There’s no blacksmith/gold shop/pawnshop *and secret room* beyond floor 10 atm
1:00:30 royal armory has 4 choices instead of 3 and upgrade all of them for a tier, a normal armory on early floor usually has uncommon, if it’s a royal armory it’ll be all at least rare instead
I feel like STR is the only worthy, "Gain 100% effect from this stat but none from the others." And that's entirely because of equipment load.
Best series ever 🎉
Lets goo ! enjoy your content buddy keep it up im proud of ya :^ )
Does the “strength does nothing” perk mean you can go as far into the negatives as you want with no consequences?
Yes but it still counts for weapon scaling

helps to play on the esper too, she gets a 100% increased periodical rate trait.
how does he have all that extra exp at the beginning?
Meta perk. Start with 5xp, but every level up now requires 6xp.
I just did a Mystic run yesterday and I swear its passive wasn't working.
The solved rubik's cube sucks. i dont remember exactly what it does, but i remember having a rare charm that had the same effect but higher. not worth 2 floors of being charmless
unless the effect is random or something
Unnecessary backseating here, to rotate weapon shooting quicker stop shooting, move the mouse and shoot again, this immediately readjusts aim
more like PSA backseating
dude imagine finding the dragon charm on this character:
SPOILERS

First time I got dragon charm i was the bandit, the run went well for me.
Im still guessing dynamo talent is bugged.
dynamo+combustion (burn tally) = infinite trigger, same with periodical boots almost instant trigger
it's bugged in a way that the tally that is supposed to trigger an effect is skipped because dynamo incremented the tally. I hope this is fixed
Is this game worth the 10$ ?
You the best👌🏽
❤❤❤
man I wanna pick this game up but every run take up like an hour is suck a deal breaker.
would be cool if it was around 30 mins mark
