There is such a thing as a Subaru with no blown headgasket. I have a 2012, same exactly as yours, mine went from 49,000 when I purchased it, to 214,000 miles without a single replacement / failure other than the clutch and 2 headlights. It has the same battery, same starter, same everything except for clutch and flywheel. It hasn't failed on me once during this time. Not a single check engine code, not a single stall, no issues with starting, etc. It has a COBB AP with stage 1, so it has been "driven". It sits now due to low compression in one cylinder but going from 49K to 214,000 without issues or replacing is good. My truck at 30,000 miles and 1 year old ran worse than the Subaru at 210,000 miles.
dude, they got stock ej255 and started doing donuts. that a big nono for stock oil pickup, they also over heated this engine after abusing ever living shit out of it that why headgasket blew. Then after "rebuild" on "fresh" build engine started doing donuts causing lack of oil on of the cylinder. People just can't maintain subarus and that why they fail...
