One question that we receive a LOT is whether the gay bars in Benidorm’s Old Town welcome straight visitors, and the answer is a great big YES!!!!
Everyone, whether you are L, B, G, T, Q, A or any of the other letters, you will be welcomed with open arms in any of the Old Town bars*.
You will find bars in the Old Town to be smaller and more intimate than those in the New Town. Whilst you are less likely to find free entertainment, you will find friendly bar staff, lively music and happy customers. And in most of the bars you can even have a chat! If you are a people person you will find no better place than Benidorm Old Town to make new friends - and in this video we show which bars we like the best!
*There are a couple of bars that are for men only..

I'm a heterosexual man that loves Benidorm (that visits at least Once a year) and love a great fun night out, I have ALWAYS found the LGBT Bars soooooooo much more welcoming and friendly than other places in parts of the City. All I ever see are people laughing and just being so friendly to each other. I go back to my hotel with a sore head and do it all again the next night. Glad you're enjoying our videos. Our favourite restaurants are China Garden, Cafe India, Happy Shrimp. Nepali Tandoori is also really good. If you want tapas, Zodiac House 🍽️ Just pick what cuisine you fancy 😋

@@thechatterguys one of the bar men who used to work at bar 69 and owner of Oliver's bar passed away couple of weeks ago I was shocked to see who it was
I'm sure we would have been served by him, however we both did not know him personally, however he was well loved by all the community and there was a lovely tribute of flowers and cards outside the pub, it was very moving xx

My favourite bars are sensation’s and mercury Disco bar
We did visit Mercury bar and had a good boogie, however, for whatever reason we didn't get the chance to visit Sensations on this visit, great bar though 💃🪩🕺

Yes, everyone is made very welcome in Betty Boo's. The first time Tim went in he was by himself and everyone made him feel welcome - not just the staff but the other customers as well! 🌈

We have been in a few gay bars when we visit we always visit them again my husband and I met in a gay bar in Glasgow in summer 1995 where have all the years went greetings from Scotland 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🇬🇧🇬🇧

Oh Samdra, there are courses that you can go on at most airports. You don't actually fly, but there are specialist courses you can attend that are designed for nervous flyers to help them with any fears. Once you have got over that the world will be your oyster x

never been to Benidorm but everyone I know who's been tell me to get my a---e over there for a bloody good time so 2024 looks i'm heading there, trouble is i'm a little wary as i'm deaf so any friendly advice would be welcomed
Hi Dean! This is tricky for us to answer as we can both hear but, if you manage OK generally we don't think that you'll have any difficulty in Benidorm. People there are generally very friendly and we're sure that you'll have a cracking time there! 🌹☀️😁
II always go to queens bar very nice and especially women from Ukraine work there she so nice and friendly .
