I loved when you pulled out the similar fragrances bottles because even if I haven't smelled some of those either I can relate to other reviews I have been allured by and get a better sense that I'm interested in it. This one is on my wish list. Great review :)

I just ordered this and I am so excited to try it! I initially liked the original the only one but then the violet/iris started smelling more prominent to me and it bothered me so I had to sell it. Im relieved that its not in this one and its replaced by more notes I love!

I had that same feeling when I wore So Nude by Costume National but then I was sitting next to someone in a small room at work and they said "what stinks in here?" LOL I about died I wanted to laugh so hard because that perfume has a cumin note and I suppose people interpret it differently. It knocked me a peg down that day but then I thought more about it because I love that perfume and feel empowered when I wear it. Who cares what other people think right! I feel beautiful and empowered by this fragrance and will continue to love this fragrance regardless.

You’ve really gotten me interested in the Paradiso line. I might just pick one up for my birthday! Which one out of them all would you say is the most special?
I have only Gemma and paradisso assoluto. Gemma do paradiso vibes similar to good girl from Carolina Herrera it’s a woody summer vanilla with a green pear note. Paradisso assoluto I don’t consider a blind buy as it’s more unique than Gemma. The opening is super inside and different by the dry down is a creamy butter white floral. They’re both beautiful and year round scents! But I’d say paradisso is more unique

I watched a video where Paulina Schar was talking about this perfume and she said to her it was like a mix of alien and dolce garden and I totally agree, it's almost the same creaminess from dolce garden

already tried this fragrance and decided it didn't work for me (couldn't handle the neroli 😭) but still needed to watch this lol. awesome video11 and i totally agree with what you said-- it's definitely a white floral that would work for people who don't like white florals 💕

My favorite fragrance purchase of 2020 is a close tie between CK Eternity Summer 2005 and Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Misteriosa. I even like wearing them separately to bed...so comforting.

I’ve heard some say this is similar to Dolce Garden and that’s what’s keeping me from buying it. I have Dolce Garden and it has been a challenging scent in my collection😩. I loooovvveee The Only One though! Takira convinced me to get it😅

I just picked up the D&G The Only One Intense and love it! So far my favourite fragrance purchase of the year has been: KayAli Vanilla 28. But I just purchased KayAli Elixir 11 and those together is...AMAZBALLS!❤️😀~Kim
Isn’t it amazing?! 😭 and I loved kayali vanilla 28 but it would evaporate on my skin 😢 so I never looked into the others 😭
ItsMJ the Elixir 11 is mainly (to my nose) rose and red delicious apple. Add that vanilla and it’s like a caramel apple. So delicious ❤️

The fragrances on my perfume stand right now are:
- Gris Dior MASION DIOR 8/10- its a nice fresh rose patchouli with a watery transparent vibe
- Rouge Malachite ARMANI 6.5/10- honestly i prefer vert's opening but rouge's dry down but its still nice
- Oud Rose Intense FRAGRANCE DU BOIS 10/10- my favourite fragrance EVER! It smells so classy, almost regal, fresh spicy rose. Smells like a very elegant night out. Maybe to the opera or a charity event but its fresh enough to wear daily.
- Angelique Noire GUERLAIN 9.7/10 my most favourite vanilla scent. Its just so beautiful! Makes me feel elegant. Its honestly a Siren of a scent- lures everybody in.
- Ylang in Gold MICALLEF 6.6/10- smells like a tropical lychee, banana toned light vanilla custard pudding. Its pretty tropical, but in a classy way. Like going to a fancy dinner by the water.
I also recently acquired a bottle of NISHANE ANI but i need to test it out before i form my final thoughts and rating. But it does have the same vibe as Angelique Noir from Guerlain
My Wish List is:
- Gris Charnel BDK, smells like a sandlewood infused milk chai with a light layer of cardamon and toasted coconut shreds sprinkled on top. Very creamy
- Woman in Gold KILIAN- smells like a woody citrus rose
- Oud Orange Intense FRAGRANCE DU BOIS- smells like a Miss Dior EDP but 100000 times better
- Cruz Del Sur II XERJOFF- smells like mango icecream
- Oud Jaune Intense FRAGRANCE DU BOIS, maybe? i dont know yet
I want ot smell Fragrance Du Bois New York 5th Avenure and Milano

If you can acquire some samples from the Fragrance Du Bois website, please do. I think the 'shades passion sample set' and 'natures treasues sample set' have the best offerings,. I would love to see a video on Fragrance Du Bois and what you think of the brand and scents!!!
That’s a great list! Lol and I had been interested in FDB until I recently found out the new packaging bottles might be watered down.

I can’t comment on that because I haven’t smelt the liquids in the older bottle but the new bottles (the ones I own) last quite some time. Oud Jaune, Oud Orange and Siberian Rose lasts 6hrs with moderate projection and an extra 2hrs skin scent (I’m not an over sprayer , 2-3 sprays at most)
Oud Rose Intense lasts 10hrs moderate projection while Santal Complet lasts 6-7hrs moderate projection for the first 2hrs and then skin scent for the remaining time.
I’m pretty sure they smell the same as the older formulation but if they did change their formulation then damn imagine the projection and longevity

I’ve been trying out layering Alien Fusion with Be Layered Cinnabomb( just a touch because that sucker is STRONG) by the recommendation of Rebecca C on here. She was spot on about making it a spicy Fall scent. I love it❤️

Honestly.. I think they’re both year round scents. But I have been really enjoying paradisso assoluto. It’s very unique. The opening is off putting (I’m used to it) and I didn’t like it at first. It’s a spicy pepper floral with some citrus. But the dry down is a creamy floral. If you want s safe blind buy I’d say Gemma is easier. If you like a challenge paradisso lol

How does this perfume compare to Versace Crystal Noir?
In my opinion it doesn’t lol. Versace is a fresh spicy gardenia fragrance. This is a creamy white floral with tropical nuances (apple & coconut).
Am i off my rocker or does The Only One Intense smell VERY similar to Good Girl? I blind bought TOOI and its bangin’ but i am SHOOK at the similarities.

Ironically I’m wearing a clone of fragrenza called plum oud which is a clone of tom Ford plum japonais which is a women’s fragrance but I think it would smell amazing on a man and even better

I dislike D&G the only one intense so much, I'm very disappointed. Because I love the EDP. The intense just smells like berry sweet 🙄👎🏽and does not last on me ..... I love the bottle though.

I can't wear Cloud unless I'm not around him that day which is rare so I just stay away from coconut notes as much as I can. Although it is a forbidden fruit kind of thing soo...🤔
