you have to secure the building before you take care of the hostage, in irl just in case you get ambushed while dealing with the hostage you never want to leave your buddy alone to deal with the enemy because the hostage is a non combatant so you can deal with them last, sadly even if they are your objective, your first objective is always to secure the building first

I like how you tackle these maps but I think you should make use of the new game mechanics like clearing windows to make new lines of sight and having the hostages run to the exit by themselves,

The way frags work in this is everything in the red dies, anything in the yellow gets stunned. I think bodies can also partially block it, but they were both in the yellow

situation at 16:30 is pritty weird , why not to move into the coridor and cover both doors while other guy is clearing room to the left , i mean by moving to the coridor corner you reduce distance and decreasing miss chance and makes your partner safer, meanwhile telling to not move into your angle of fire but there was no other way to proceed deeper into house
It's weird that in Co-op the terrorists don't immediately merc the hostages like they do in single player. I wonder if that's a bug, or a design decision based on multiple players.
In coop you can't pause the timer, so it's way harder to pre-plan an entire level, especially when your buddy has to do it as well. Would be an interesting thing to watch though

I've actually learned lessons in tactics, which I've translated into games that I play. Even when I play airsoft. Though I am curious, what was your mos during your service with the Marines? Pro tip: once you secure a hostage you can right click on them and it will give you some options
