Thank you for showing these! So much to discover & inspire! These remind me a little bit of the Illustrators Annual books from the Bologna Children's Book Fair in that there is such a variety of mediums put together in cool ways.
I love to look through books that inspires me to create. I am about to get my corner with, paint, papers and inspiration, cozy but also functional for paint so I need a bookshelf close, filled with inspiration.
Thanks for the flip throughs of these marvelous books. The inspiration is so intense that I immediately want to get into my art room and create, but it’s only 7:30 a.m., so I’m going to have another cup of coffee and let all that inspiration mull around in my brain until a little later. So great to have another book review from you Denise,I have both of the 1000 journal pages books and look through these often,I also have the arrust's skechbooks and journals book too.The other books I will search for on ebay.(Matt) I put little tags in books with pages that really catch my eye too
I had someone ask me for some flip throughs of my books - and I love seeing art books too… so I have several book videos coming - I loved pulling them out and getting to look through them again! 🤗
@2lilowlsstudio I have a bookcase in my studio full of all kinds of art books and do pull a few out quite regularly to just sit and look through and maybe get ideas sparking from doing so,learning from how other artists work is always fascinating (Matt) Denise would you ever create a book yourself?
@@VanitasmortedigitalI had a publishes ask me a few months ago to do a book… but they wanted photography - which I am burned out on and moving away from in my creative business… so if I was asked to do an art one - I might consider it… but I need a strong pull to do it - and I’m not there with what I want to say - so not right now 🤗

I found a kindle version of the World of Artist Journal Pages and with my points and rewards I got it for $6.50 such a deal and I can read it on my Ipad or computer. Thanks for showing us this great book!! They did have some used paperback copies available on Amazon.
I had to tell you! I bought Sharpie Oil Based markers for my ceramics and I adore them!!! I love Posca too but it was double the price.... let me know if you ever use sharpie!!!
@@2lilowlsstudiothe Collaborative Art Journal one reminds me of a time in the early 2000s when swaps were a big thing. We created a journal page and sent the book to the next person. Eventually the books wound up back with the person who had it first and oh, what yumminess lived inside them. Sometimes there was a theme, sometimes not. There were 8 artists on my rotation and it took almost 6 months to get it all the way around. I’d love to do a collaborative with someone, especially since you now have me addicted to making my own journals (thanks for that).
@@deborahbeattyI’m addicted to making my own journals too! I have some ideas coming that I have been working on. At least I also love painting in them!! So at least they will eventually all get painted in. I need to get back to my art journal from Luz! I’ve had so many projects I’ve been working on and we had the holidays! ☺️
