Guns n' Roses will always have a special place in my heart. I will always LOVE this song. This was me and my husbands song when we were dating and separated by many miles. It felt like the end of the world, every time we had to say goodbye, after a visit. We made it through and have been together for over 32 years. "Patience" paid off!!!! It's an Awesome song!!

Nothing tops Appetite for Destruction as an album. And yes this is such a beautiful song.... not to mention how beautiful Slash is in the video. And so talented... this video will always be one of my faves, it's perfect in every way. I grew up on this and love it just as much now as I did as a kid.

Great review! I was a teenager when this song came out and my older brothers were upset saying “That sucks that another Hard Rock band came out with a wussy ballad,” but I loved it because it showed how G n’ R wasn’t one dimensional.

I have watched all the videos of Guns n Roses reactions on your TH-cam channel and I like it. let me tell you something, I am now 40 years old and from Indonesia. When Guns n Roses released the double album "Use Your Illusion" in 1992, I was only 12 years old, and can you imagine when almost every corner of your neighborhood played the November Rain song? that song sticked in my mind. And when I entered high school, my friend asked me to play a Civil War drum track, that's where it all began. Guns n Roses became my favorite band until now. Can you imagine when you were a teenager, and almost every day you listen to the songs and memorize all the lyrics of the Guns n Roses songs? yes, all the lyrics in their songs seemed to brain wash me, and shape my point of view about love, life, hatred, anger and wisdom. The November Rain song lyrics are like a guide for me how I see love, as well as other songs such as: You Could Be Mine, Don't Damn Me, Breakdown and others have formed a character in me. There is a song from Guns N Roses where the lyrics managed to bring me into a real subconscious, named Coma. I think you should listen to that song, and I'm curious about your opinion of the song. Thanks

Mark Coleman That’s amazing. It’s a wonderful thing to see the different ideals emphasized in schools in different regions of the country. It truly adds to the educational experience. You must have a lot of varied points of view in your repertoire, having such diversity in your education, both the topics you studied and the different areas of the country those schools are located in. I’m not too old-40s. But I grew up listening to G n R and love seeing younger generations hearing them for the first time. If lyrics get you, try some John Denver, Peter, Paul and Mary, Aerosmith, Neil Young, Jim Croce, James Taylor, and definitely don’t miss out on the Eagles! I stumbled upon your channel, but I’ll keep looking to see what you do. Do you have many more reactions, other than this? Sorry, I’m not that internet savvy, but always willing to learn, as my teenage daughters encourage it. Keep up the intelligent reactions, but remember to go outside too! (I know, I’m an overprotective, but encouraging mom!)

I see a lot of people who grew up with hip hop connecting to older music (1950-1995) but practically no one from my generation (70s/80s) trying to connect with hip hop music. I thought it was just me but perhaps we just don't get hip hop. I've tried for 30 years but it has never resonated with me. There's no emotional connection and I can't relate to it on any level. It feels so aggressive, showy, in your face, superficial, and angry. It mirrors the major differences between this generation and mine so I guess it's generational.
