We were there on Friday and Saturday. The Sound of the Panoz was the best. Nearby the Corvette, Ford GT and BMW Z4. THUNDER SOUNDS. And the Maserati, Lamborghini were also great 😍😍😍
Agreed, though that's more a function of how iffy the styling on the C8 Corvette is in general. ZO6 looks a bit better, but the entire C8 line lacks the fluidity of previous generations' styling. Might also be a bit unfair tho, given the C6.R GT2 is probably one of the most beautiful looking _things_ humanity has ever created.
No that would be a disaster for GT racing and endurance racing in general, as was the case when they were used. The reason was of course cost, just a spending war as to who could build the most technically advanced machines. GT3 seems, judging by it's popularity, to have the balance about right
@@gothicpagan.666 Why can't the GT1 class be like the GT500 class? It worked in Japan, why not here? That makes sense. If we replace GT1 with GT500, it will definitely work here too.

@@gothicpagan.666 current GT3s cost about as much as the 2000s GT1 cars and are faster than they are 90s GT1 I agree was ultra expensive and these costs are similar to Class 1 (former DTM) and GT500 car costs, even LMDh/LMH costs I'd assume
