  • Hey All! So here is a full guide on how to remove the rear bumper to the C8 Corvette. I'm kind of surprised I hadn't put this how to together much sooner as its an essential how-to for any job on the rear end whether its to install a new exhaust, rear spoiler, or any job in the back for that matter. I'll be referring to this job for many jobs involving taking the bumper off. Enjoy all!
If you need more info on how to lift your C8 properly, Check out my other video that goes into more detail on the jack points.

There are 3 electrical connectors to remove, LH, RH tail lamps. What does the third power as I broke it during bumper removal

Hey David. If your talking about the smaller connector thats located alongside the passenger side taillight connector, I believe that connects to the rear camera. You may get lucky and be able to find a replacement connector for it via gm parts direct.

    Saludos Carlos,
I have a question but about another of your excellent videos. The video you talk about about your experience with carbon fiber. The first thing is, which brand is most similar in color and weave to the OEM visible carbon fiber roof? I have a corvette that is now in status 3000, this one is going to
have that roof and I want to buy the outside mirrors and the carbon fiber panels on each side of the engine. I would also like to know which brand is most similar to the carbon fiber on the GT2 seats, because I am going to buy some parts for the interior. Muchas gracias

Great video. The details were spot on without being too wordy. The editing was top-notch as well and informative. This video was the first to pop up when I searched, so good job!
