- Here's a video review, originally aired on the Internet show "Playing With Cars", of Highway 61's giant 1:6 scale 1957 Corvette.
Check out www.thecarroom.com for more!
Hosted by Joe Kelly, Jr. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
There are a few other cars made in this scale, mostly made of resin, and they can get pretty pricey. These Corvettes show up on eBay every now and then. Outrageous models!
Thanks for watching.
The details are immense
Hello Joe,
WOW! I'm impressed. I never realize that collector item were made
that big. Thank so much for sharing this video. Keep up with the
play cars. Happy Modeling!
Superb 1/6 scale , Chevy '57 !

Cool car wish i had it great job👍
Interesting...thank you and great video!
nice piece! really detailed and very elegant and show room car, even the finish looks so real, well thay's why it's close to the real thing. $800.00 dollars pretty good being that the car weighs 20 lbs.
Hello - They're on the secondary market, now, so some (depending on the buyer, seller, and circumstance) can go for big bucks. New, they ran at around $800.00USD.
Only thing missing is the start up, throttle blip and a wild squirrel driving doing donuts on the kitchen floor !
Intro song is lovestruck by from the fire
@TheAnamies Yes - this one would cost a LOT to ship there. The base model, without packaging, weighs close to 20 pounds!
Thanks for watching.
1:6 ???!!! - WoW thats BIG and VERY COOL
You're very welcome - and thanks!
@SG2jag That's a good question! We never got a firm number on the production of these. Our sample was a pre-production (but production approved) car. Have you tried contacting Diecast Promotions directly? They may have a handle on where to get one.
Good luck -and thanks for watching!
I wish they would make a 1957 bel this big
@FerrariCarr Naaah. My daughter tried. But it was close....
Thanks for watching!
@TheAnamies HA! We heard something once about these guys potentially getting into militaria, but never heard if they're still moving ahead. They have a couple of mold sets that would work for Army trucks, etc.
@skrassow You're right - we were running a contest called "Find the Glitch" at the time, and viewers were asked to pick up on the mistakes and win a model. Sorry about that....
Great show. How have I never seen your channel before?
Hi, Jeff -
We're getting a lot of new viewers/subscribers these past couple of months - and I'm glad you're here! Thanks for watching.
went to that site no 1:6 scale cars is there another link for it?
Where are the great golden diecast days today ?
Man this is an exquisite piece. Was this the only 1/6 scale model of any car ever made? I really want one, if anyone's selling, then let me know.
That's what I thought too! HAHA!
How much do they run for?
intresting
Nice
Thanks! Still one of my favorites!
The 28” model weighs 39 lbs shipped,
I wonder if Barbie could actually fit in it.
By "diecast model" do you mean you have to put it together or is it already assembled? If it's a "build it yourself model kit" That's cool.
1/6 fraction 62 cm
im getting an GMP '67 fairlane
Ford 54 me interesa como puedo conseguirlo
That's it? I've seen 1:12 scale cars that go for $6,000. Even $15,000
1 posted on ebay 4 sale...1-21-2-13
$1000 for that car
I like to bye one please
*bel air
Resulotion is too high
How old is this video? Film quality makes it look as old as the car. Now, if this company still exists and they made a model of any Ferrari, they have my attention.
It's ironc how the models body is metal and the real corvette is plastic
Thumbs Down.
It's a shame they chose this car to waste all that R&D on.
(Yes, I ended my sentence with a preposition.)
