my grandma had to go through the hair trade. she had hair that felt like silk that ran down to her knees. she had to sell it for money. i hate to see other people go through this. you are doing something amazing dan!
I had no idea that their was such thing as hair trafficking, but thank you Dan for paving the way and educating us about this topic! It’s beautiful to see people who genuinely care about the well being of others rather then becoming greedy about money and profit. ❤️
One of friend is from Vietnam he grow his hair full year and then give to the cancer patient since from 2012. Now I know why he do that I am proud of friend and now I would like to help him as well. ❤️
I am adopted from Vietnam and have donated my hair in the US. Long story short, I was going to donate my ill aunt my hair but she didn’t make it by the time I cut it. So I donated it to her religion at a hair donation center. My hair was passed ten inches and went down to my butt (note, my height was 4’8). I am shocked this is part of trafficking happens in my birth home, I am glad women who give consent (to cut their hair) are able to do something big to help others and to be paid in a dignifying way. Thank you for sharing this video.
If you watch refinery29 he went to a womans house and cut her hair . When he finished cutting , you can see that he did an amazing job cuz the womans hair is beautiful. In the end he paid her hundreds of money that is enough for one month .
I like playing with hair but I like prefer real human hair to brush and wash and dye and stuff.... I with they made dolls with real human hair but I wish the scalp was more realistic with each hair strand rooted individually to look like a real human scalp.. but that would take to long to manufacture... so I’d have to customize my own doll but I’m too lazy 😂
Sorry, I didn’t realize seeing how a person is helping the world in one way is considered “copying”. Just because others have done a video like this, doesn’t make it a copy. If it was a copy, it would look mostly or exactly the same.
Asian hair is desirable for its texture and shine...not its length. White women can grow long hair too, but no one wants to weave "bird nest" hair stands in their hair.

See you everywhere
He’s doing a wonderful job
I’ve heard this story for years but, it gets me every time.
Now this is what I call an inspiring video. I hate videos depicting different trends just to get people's attention.

Yesss I saw an interview with this guy and he was helping people so much.
That’s awesome!
I never knew people wanted hair so badly!
I love this and would love to donate my hair if the proceeds go to helping these women
I love his voice
The women are still payed not enough considering for how much the hair is sold.
but they have to put each individual strand of hair in by hand
that's how the economy works
It’s not enough for people in the western world but it is a lot to people in Vietnam 🇻🇳
50 bucks over here is 1,191,156 đông in Vietnam and a bowl of noodles over there is about 23,000 so...

She’s too close to the mic I can hear her tongue clicking it’s weird
Julie you can hear the emotion in her voice though
Ka Grace is that a good thing?
Julie it would be weird if she said t without any emotion this is a serious issue
Ka Grace she’s lot the one going through it, she’s just a reporter
This is a great dude.

Hello how do I contact you
before I read the comments, I’m commenting. I’m guessing that there are like a lot of people saying something like, “VIETNAMESE GANG WHERE YA ATT!”
So far I haven’t seen any :/
CookieGeek someone said “who else here is Vietnamese?” I mean if they said something like that.
tropicallყყ oh I was aware of that. I mean I didn’t see any of those types of comments.
I don’t know why but I want one of those long hairs to play with it and brush it and stuff
GOOD LUCK🍀😘❤️
Is that alex talking?

How the hell they made hair extension
I ‘m living in Vietnam
Tui cung vay ne, gioi tieng Anh ko?
+sanson animation well if you are trying to do that, you should say it in English rather than saying it in VietNamese
Vietnam is a really nice place , I hope to go their one day .
вιуат нuитег the urban areas are really dusty, so make sure to bring a face mask. Personally I like the rural side more.
I've seen this on Refinery29
The dislikes are the hair thieves😂😂
it’s not very funny to say that. hair thieves should not be laughed at, they should be locked up.

I would donate my hair, but it’s practically worthless. It gets stuck in everything! Mainly my headphones.

Refinery 29 did an interview with him. Copycats
I was thinking the exact same thing...
Sorry, I didn’t realize seeing how a person is helping the world in one way is considered “copying”. Just because others have done a video like this, doesn’t make it a copy. If it was a copy, it would look mostly or exactly the same.
He agreed to do the interview and is just trying to spread a good message.

No one copied each other besides Refinery 29 uploaded 1st

Why only cancer patients in the us? Cancer is worldwide.............
Shame on the 44 people that disliked
Let me get your contact
Lele Pons has left the chat.
im Vietnamese hehe
I’m Vietnam, but I never see they ever use this. Beside, I never know that females wear so much extensions.
I know this shouldn't be the right time to say this but... I bet some Russians would say "*deep Russian accent* Blyat, Capitalism!"
Why would they say that?
Ben S.H. It’s a Communism vs Capitalism joke XD
its vietnAHm not vietnOm
