In Arizona there is a place that sells snow balls…. Not sure if Dewey’s snow cones or another snow cones place would sell you some , have a snowball fight with your kids whenever!!
We moved here 2 years ago after watching your videos. Yes we are also 20 year Veteran family. Its such a wonderful place. Yes very expensive but then again what place isnt in 2023?
Yeah it's definitely a little pricier than a lot of areas in the country, but definitely not the most expensive either. But I expect the price to be a little bit higher when you're living in this kind of area, can't beat these beaches 😉
So it's evident that the Panhandle is a great place for ex-military folks, who have a shared experience of having lived life in the military. What about those of us who have never been in the military? Will we be looked at as the "outsiders"?
Great question Cindy! This one is a first, but it is a very valid question. In my experience you will not feel like an outsider in any capacity. We've got agents on our team that are not affiliated with the military and a capacity and they do not feel like they are anything but welcomed. Fortunately for us, this is a very welcoming area, I don't know if it's because we are technically in the south, or if it's because of the area itself, but it is very welcoming out here. And most of the military population or prior military etc, is located around eglin Air Force Base for the most part, so depending on what city you are interested in, you might not even have any military members or veterans around you.
@@LifeOnTheEmeraldCoast thanks so much, this is good to know! I'd have no problem living with veterans as my neighbors. My question comes from previously moving into a neighborhood that was very "cliquish". We loved the home but never felt part of the neighborhood because the cliques were well established & definitely not welcoming.
@@cindyonyoutube yikes....I'm sure there are neighborhoods like that everywhere, but that's most definitely not the consensus. Its funny you asked this actually, we just had some great folks find us here on TH-cam and I was talking to them at our Christmas party and they were raving about how welcoming their neighborhood and the entire area has been. I've personally lived in multiple cities in our area and have felt welcomed every time, my first neighborhood I even had visitors when I moved in, one neighbor gave me cookies and another gave me a an entire pan of lasagna (which was amazing by the way 😆)
Absolutely love the Emerald Coast……but your comparison of Alpharetta homes to the Pensacola homes doesn’t factor in the value of the school systems. Alpharetta schools are top notch in Georgia, much better than the schools along the emerald Coast. That is part of the reason why Alpharetta homes draw a premium price, the schools.
The content is based on the creator's family home area's so yeah the locations are not going to be comparable but that's why we tune in is to listen to the opinions of the locals.
