We used to purchase products from distrubtors for our supermarket but gradually stopped it and started buying from
Metro, amazon, jiimart and jumbotail.
Reasons:
Company sales guys keep distracting a lot especially from monday to friday ( 10am to 3pm).
Stocks keep coming every 30 minutues from 10am to 5pm which is again a problem.
Most important: Delivery guys try to cheat many a times.
Advantage of b2b.
We plan our purchase accordingly and ensure sales with less than 0.25% expiry. Focus on high selling products.
3 to 4 vehicles will deliver all our stocks which allows us to plan and arrange them within the commencement of peak business hours n also complete purchase entry.
Better margins compared to distributor.
