Nice pick, thank you! Brute strength and ignorance. Two great things that go great together. I can't tell if the scratchy catchy snaggy feel of this lock is intentional or if their tooling is shite. I suspect it's shite. Granted locks are made so you can't pick them so I can't technically complain about the fact that the pins seem to bind tightly and release with a hard snap even before applying tension and the snaggy tolerances make it no fun to play with though I'd be more ok with the lock knowing it was intentional rather than poor manufacturing... I suspect the latter as I'm running in to reports of people sending theirs back for exactly this issue complete with difficult to insert or remove keys due to the frozen pins. These things are in my pick once and ignore bucket. If you get one that doesn't have frozen pins they're a lot easier to pick if you throw a rubber band on to hold the shackle in so the tension from the ball bearings doesn't fight with you.
WELL I learned something new today... I had NO IDEA you could 90 degree the TOK. This is going to change EVERYTHING for me going forward trying to pick mine!!
I've just picked this exact lock (and I really do mean THIS lock...Darren lent it to me), and can confirm everything he said about the nasty little bastard. Exactly the same pick, too.
Nice open! I’m stuck on that lock right now. The loose core definitely makes it harder, as does the shape of the top of the keyway. What pick width and profile pick did you use? Also what width for the tensioner? You didn’t specify and I need to know :)
Nice pick, thank you!

@@MekaPaladin it fitted in there for a while, but eventually the top of the keyway got all chewed up and it fit no more. Back to BOK now! 😭😀
Like the biting on that key, and love the pink lock. I need to pick that type of lock too. Very soon!
I believe the bitting cuts on this key are actually lock krakens birthday which is impressive. Ordered specially from Paclock like that
@@Dmaclocksport Yes it is, the code also starts with B just because all the ones I've seen around start with A and I wanted to be different.
Nice open. That’s a great looking lock
She is a pretty one 😁👍🏻

Teardrop for the win!! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Awesome picking Sir. Welcome to the club :)
Cheers dude. I had picked one last year (sold it cos I hated picking it 😆) but this vid makes it official 😁👍🏻
@@Dmaclocksport Haha Whereas I wet the other way, I borrowed one, then found one becoming mine because I enjoyed it like my AL's xD

They are tough picks! I used a lawlock 1.2mm tok and a lawlock pro reach pick 👍🏻
“Brute strength and ignorance…” 🤣🤣🤣
That is a fine motto! 😆
Where do you get your smooth action 1100s? I have 15 of them and they all act like they have sand in them
The 1100s are crunchy/clicky bastards too, but the clicks are way more defined and readable compared to the floppy cored paclocks 😎👍🏻
I've been struggling with this lock I may be over thinking it. Brute strength and ignorance here I come.
I've picked a couple of these now and find them horrible to pick. Crunchy, muddy feedback with a floppy core. Best of luck 😁👍🏻
Can you put kik cylinders in these ones then 😊
