Can’t wait to hear Dr. Masson’s reaction and review of Christopher Nolan’s epic action film “The Odyssey” in 2026. The film releases July 17th, 2026. It’s going to be a masterpiece!

Doctor Mason enjoying the lectures immensely thank you. one small point of order, when you get a question, please repeat the question, We can't hear the question, so it all becomes a bit like a jeopardy game.

I will try, but unlike my class, you’re getting this for free…

@@LitProf Thank you for the response, Professor. I appreciate the free content and all the effort you put into these lectures. My suggestion about repeating the questions was just meant to help improve the experience for everyone watching. I think it would add even more value to the fantastic work you're already doing. Thanks again for everything you provide!

I agree but I have my immediate audience in mind. I try to forget about the camera

I think you’re under a false conception of my technical abilities. And I have no assistance for what I do.

Elements of this remind me of Orual in Till We Have Faced, she tries to engage the hidden gods to appeal regarding her percieved injustice.
When Plato said the poets lied regarding the gods did he mean Homer as well?

      He stated it explicitly.

I am 53 and I applied to do a master’s degree in my country. Sadly, they turned down that. I just wanted a degree to prove my qualifications. Here they believe in documents.
Continuos development through reading, attending seminars or watching videos like this one are way better.
I am pretty familiar with the way courses are delivered in my country’s universities and I can say that the only thing u benefit from is the certificate

Not sure what you mean. Always glad to find people hungry to learn.

@@LitProfwe can develop ourselves through watching videos like this one without attending the university. The only thing that university provides is the certificate, that sheet of paper or what we call cardboard, we call it cardboard here because they are of no value. Apart from proving that ne has completed his studies

You misspelled "from" in the description - "feom time"

It's odd i see houses in the Bible. Because nomatter how big a family gets they always call it a home. The only way to get a house is to profit and pay. This book will make one venture away from family to find? Peace? Piece of land comes with that. History is the (Hi)story. Its also his to r y. But life comes from two people having both points of view. Hisstory, is the serpent in the garden because it put down eves perspective for a gods perspective. You shouldn't listen to other people, that would be eavesdropping. This is the origin of man giving birth to child. And it has been mirrored in society eve r y since.
