Kerley is an amazing physical specimen. He's a powerful runner with that wide frame yet looks smooth. Lyles seems so streamlined in comparison but has that natural top speed that doesn't even make sense. His legs move so fast.

If anybody could break it or come close, it’s the teenager. 18yrs old and running a 19.49 is insane and this is coming from a kid who broke the 20 second mark for the first time last summer. He’s getting stronger and faster at a super fast rate I won’t be surprised if he PBs a 19.3 or 19.2 this summer with some competition chasing him down
Kerley needs to step up if he’s gonna break the 100m or 200m world record. He’s lost his most recent races for both events. To break a record, you gotta win buddy.
Kerley is just talking to keep interest and fanfare in the sport. Kerley isn’t getting anywhere near Bolts records, he doesn’t have the speed to do it.

Good run Kerley continue to beat that chest. Leave the track now and get in some training, start doing some hide and peep. Running the circuits consistently before WC is not wise. You need the drawing board. The finish for that 200m was sloppy, but well done. A little more endurance and Noah Lyles will not beat you no matter what his fans say. Leave the circuit head to training, this is where winning is, in training not the track.
Kerley knows what he’s doing look how easy that 19.8 was he’s just making sure he stays consistent with his times so when it comes to rounds at the WC he will slide though and do something amazing in the finals
You should look up Fred Kerleys story of how he got in to track, it’s crazy but I won’t spoil anything. Just think about people who want to do one thing all their lives and be the best at it and people who just happen upon it and are better
