As a Falcons fan I’ve never been so excited and assured of long term success than with this staff. Terry is a cap genius and has been sneakily getting steals in free agency wether it’s a big time player or not he’s been filling the roster to compete…. Arthur smith is a coach I will support for this team as long as he wants the job. How we were able to get 7 wins with the roster we had is a unreal.
Love TF so far, still iffy on AS. I hope he gets better.

Arthur smith had a tough job of doing more with less.I’m optimistic from what I saw last year. Very underrated especially with the chaos surrounding him. From ridley, to Matt Ryan saga and just overall players that didn’t got him. He utilized CP84 , developed pitts, focused on run game and had an overachieving season from a team with low expectations.

I know they won’t get much love but the scout team did an amazing job this offseason. I see this draft turning around this team.
For those who say "Go be a Colts fan then" when I wish Ryan well and hope he gets the ring he deserves bc we're rebuilding here..shame on you, Ryan put this franchise on his back after the Vick debacle, while I like the direction we're going, hopefully Ridder can grow behind Mariota. Doesn't mean we can't appreciate Matt for what he meant to this team and city, was a great draft and I have alot of faith in this leadership from the top down to make this franchise respectable again. ✌️

@@vcof2005 He's got a chance in Indy, they have a solid squad, he sure as hell didn't have a prayer here in the ATL, and with protection and a couple of weapons Ryan's showed he plays at an MVP level. He deserved better and he got it, period that's the point.
The Colts lost their last 2 games against bad teams to keep em out the playoffs last year with Wentz, so Ryan gets to the dance he sure as hell can still lead a team to the SB..

@@stevegreco1802 Nah bruh. Matt didn't carry sh--. He struggled every year to get into the end zone and got us nowhere. The running game and Shanahans play calling took us to the Super Bowl. Not Matt. I'm not hating on Matt. He's never been a winning quarterback yet you Matt lovers blame everyone but him. The players on the team didn't like playing with him. That's why Julio left. There was beef between him and Matt and Matt hardly ever threw Julio the ball.

I thought on paper this was the best, most focused and precision draft the Atlanta Falcons have had in a decade at least. Not reach. Every pick meets or exceed the measurable aspect. When you look you say no way they don't draft by need. I think they actually do draft based on need. They just made darn sure they didn't reach for anybody. If I had to pick small hiccup, I thought the 4.6 forty by Allgiere was less than ideal. However he does not play 4.6. Excellent draft. If Marlon Davidson and Richie Grant ever turn out to be worth a damn we might be fine sooner than later.
I'm so excited about where we are heading with our team! I believe we will be super bowl champions soon with the leadership and front office we have now. I commend Arthur Blank for putting team before personal relationships and letting the team be reshaped for winning and going for the big game!!!
All teams have this large staff, yet thier style and success still looks like throwing darts.
Everyone over here complaining about Drake did not watch his film. The man was a animal at WR for USC. The problem was he played with a horrible QB that either threw the ball to late or way to short where he had to make acrobatic catches to save his QB lack of arm strength. 88 rec over 1000 yards in 7 1/2 games with terrible QB play is elite. Go watch film he gets open on his breakpoint constantly its just his QB was terrible.

@@Musiq_lifestyle I swear he would have 3 to 5 yards of separation then have to stop and jump over a defender because the QB has a weak arm. Folks do not watch film, they just watch highlights.
Actually! Drake is a hard working, humble and is a double threat due to his basketball ability. The Falcons came up!

I noticed UDFA - WR - Tyshaun James out of Central Connecticut State was invited to training camp. He has great separation speed after the catch. With so many players in camp, how do / can you evaluate all the players ensuring a diamond does not slip pass you in the mix? (Tyshaun can also take the top off most defenses).
He will def make this roster or the practice squad

Its kinda odd to draft a TE and WR with premium picks in back to back drafts. Falcons could have had Micah Parsons and Charles Cross have EDGE and OT locked down for 10 years. I'm not even bashing the front office. Its just a very bold strategy for a roster that is not very good.

I wish we would’ve went defense with the first pick but I can’t lie, I love what Terry is putting together. If Drake London turns out good he could be a Mike Evans.
No defensive player will be as productive as drake London in his first year.

@@jordanhead8388 jermaine does not fit the defense that Dean Peas wants. He wanted fast and twitchy players off the edge. If David Ojabo did not get hurt we would have picked him at 8 over arnold because he fits the scheme. Also We drafted several DL in the last three years. I think they are going to give them a fair evaluation this year going into a year where they had to learn a new system and we will have over 100 million in cap space to fix positions of need if necessary.

@@jordanhead8388 you obviously read it.i said what I said Jermaine does not fit the scheme or menal make up Terry obviously wanted. For starters everyone's board if different. Some had him at WR4 while many others had him at WR2 or WR1. He was WR2 on my board I had no issue with the falcons taking him. 88 rec for over 1000 yards in 7 1/2 games with terrible QB play is elite. They will dunk on everyone in the end zone which drake is elite at go watch film instead of highlights.
I think the Ridder pick to the Falcons was a bad landing spot for him and in some ways a bad pick for the team is that the Falcons are going to be bad and picking high again next year and in a loaded QB class are probably going to take a QB high. that leaves Ridder in a tough spot and leaves the Falcons without a player that they could have drafted in round 3 that could have been competing for a starting job on a weak roster.
This all sounds good but I hope everything comes in to fruition. They passed on a lot of good talent in the draft so if our guys don’t pan out (this year and last years), we need to clean house

@@laryanryan9170 I can’t say I’m confident but I am hopeful. You look at teams like the ravens or the eagles who typically have a good defense and look at the players they drafted. I was going the falcons took a page out of their books but I’m hoping for the best.
@@ddawkins24 I like how the Eagles got Davis and Dean. Davis made the other defensive players better and pared with Dean and their other defenders Philly will have a top five defense. Davis is who I wanted at #8.
