I'm a day one subscriber from trinidad, but the first time commenting, I'm currently going through a divorce. (NOTHING IS AMICABLE BETWEEN MY SOON TO BE EX HUSBAND AND I PRESENTLY).I must say this episode was very informative and meaningful. I've taken several pointers. Alyshia, your mom didn't allow her circumstances to define her. She's not a victim but a VICTOR.
    Kind regards to your household.

Even though some of the time I don’t understand. My heart was in my throat just to keep from crying. Some time when we are going through hard times. We don’t know what other people are going through worse. Am glad she is an over comer. She is a strong woman. To see God spoke to her using your voice. That was the most awesome part of it. Prayer is the key. Thank God for Jesus. Mrs Powell give her all that she wants what ever she wants it to her. Yes I know you take her on trips. But ask her where you want to go, what you want. And yes ask all the questions now. My mom passed and I should have ask her about her life growing up. Am doing ancestry and finding out things I could have ask her if she was around. Give us part two please. God blessed all of you.

This a beautiful testimony of how God can take you through the hardest of times that the enemy has set up to kill, steal and destroy you..And you come out on the other side stronger with a selfless heart. Mummy, you are beautiful inside and out. May God continue to Bless you and shower you in his love. All that the enemy meant for evil, God turned around and used for good; look at your children and grandchildren! Asafa continues to treasure these ladies ( respect, love, and honor) as they do you. Mummy needs to visit Canada; it will heal wounds and bring closure. She is deserving of that.

I have respect for Mum, I can’t imagine how painful it must have been for her to watch her daughter find her “father” to be a part of the wedding 😮. Most women would have been bitter about it. You’re a very strong and forgiving woman.

I think your mom should visit Canada, even for 1 day. It may be the closure she needs. Also, she would get to see the country her daughter was living in. Grant her that wish.
