I'm heartbroken for Braden Montgomery. He's such a great kid....Hope he heals quickly. He should be a top 5 pick. Chris Cortez will be playing in the MLB one day.
3rd base coach first put up the hold sign then wave him home, which caused Montgomery to hesitate at first. In my opinion, the 3rd base coach should have just held him at 3rd.
@@TWolfyG The 3rd base coach disrupted the pace of the turn and approach to home. By delaying the "go sign", it caused Braden to have to lift and slide at an angle; otherwise it would have been a clean slide.
@@chuckwest7045if one player in a roster of 9 starters can make or break a team… they don’t belong anywhere near a chip… if that’s the case..it’s a team sport not an individual

the montgomery injury hurts so bad
Man that was a like a punch to the gut watching Braden get hurt on a dumb play. He should have just stayed at 3rd.
