I would not count the Crows out, the Showdown has many habits to watch out for, one of them is bringing the best out of both teams, the other is that upsets are rather common in the Showdown, ladder position and win/loss means nothing, neither does form and neither do the betting odds. a lot of Port supporters know this to, there is no guarantee with a Showdown, because you never know what you are going to get, that is the beauty of the Showdown. it is simply the best rivalry in the league. that being said, Crows by 5 points.
I do keep an eye on it. But unless there are a lot of injuries, I don't personally think it has a huge impact considering there are 18 players on the pitch.
@@RobReacts1 Some injuries hurt teams a lot more. Port, despite being a good team, rely too heavily on Rozee and Butters. Would lose 90% of any 50/50 games
One person did get the draw. They got the extra point for the exact scoreline a draw, but nobody else got the .5 for a close score because there was no winning team. They also got the golden hat. I picked Bulldogs last week and paid for it.
@@RobReacts1 you’re right. I’ve just gone and had a look and the .5 is there for all close enough. I remember looking soon after the match had finished and didn’t see it allocated then.
Carlton really only lost against Geelong and Adelaide cause of the missed shots at goals in most of stats and everything they actually are matching or beating their opponents in most of the stats they aren't as bad as you are making them out to be

the girls didn't want to get off my lap, and the boys needed something that would interest them and convince them of the seriousness of the task, so that they would cooperate well, or give them some task in which they would earn points or prizes :D:D🤣
@@RobReacts1 sorry Rob. It has never been called a derby in SA. Has been the showdown from the beginning. Freo v Eagles in WA is called the derby. Suns v Brisbane in QLD is called the Q Clash Swans v Giants in NSW is sometimes called the derby but is also the Battle of the Bridge
@@Sharyn-x8e The term "Showdown" to describe the matches between Port Adelaide and the Adelaide Crows was created by the South Australian Brewing Company, which was the original sponsor of both teams. They coined the term in 1992 when discussions about admitting Port Adelaide into the AFL were underway. The brewing company wanted a catchy name for the prospective derbies that would enhance the rivalry and its marketability. So they are all still derbies. Just have fancy names for hype

North have d grade Defenders that's why they keep leaking so many points, and to top it off they lost their main key defender (Ben Mackay) to Essendon in the trade period.
I was thinking about the relief you must have felt when the Swans escaped by the narrowest of margins, 76 points.
Haha I was worried all game while watching 😜

Tipped the draw for the ANZAC day game
Nice pick!

I don't think it matters who wins, if the goal margin is close, you get the .5

Picking a draw is a big call despite a few draws a season being a thing
There would be no advantage to tipping for a draw. If it is a draw everyone gets the point anyway…

Possession means nothing if you don't score
No they’re worse

Couple big outs for Port....I'm not confident
Got the pies tip exact well done✅
Im very happy with that pick!
If the Magpies got that extra point I would have had 9/9, but I still went up 22 places so I'm happy.

But him playing stopped others from stepping up.

Congrats Rob, you are back in the Top 100! 😎
Boom!
Just a heads up here in SA we call it the showdown. In WA it’s called the Derby
Just because the media created to term the showdown, doesn't stop it being a local derby. That's just what it is
@@RobReacts1 fair enough. I’ve just grown up always knowing it as the showdown.
Good call this is a very weird season for tipping. Always upsets but so many teams so inconsistent.
"Sydney Derby"the word "derby" said in an english accent just cracks me up :-) but I can say it myself, it's easy for me.

Crows v Port. It’s neither derby or Darby.
It’s a Showdown.
Yes but also still a. Derby/Darby?
It is a local derby. The showdown is just what the media created to build hype
