- Song: The Samovars.
Performed by the Red Army Choir.
From the Red Army Choir Definitive Collection, Disc 2.
I take no credit for the creation of the music or the image used in the video, I just chucked the two together for everyone's enjoyment. If you like the music please buy the CD's at www.amazon.co.u... and support Koch Entertainment
For those who do not know, the song is about the town of Tula, which manufactures auto-boilers (_samovary_) in peacetime and firearms (_samopaly_) in wartime.
I thought this song was about a certain group of fierce Russian warriors (like if the Samovars were like the Cossacks or something).
Your profile picture makes me suspicious, Danthalios.
danthalios hahahhahaha Tula means something completely different here in Chile
Samopal is a self-made ersatz firearm. Samovar was a nickname for a Maxim machinegun due to the water boiling in the barrel cooling system.
Jorge de los Reyes Well, your fierce wariors are now tea boilers!
I love the Red Army Choir! They can go from singing a serious, patriotic and soulful tune to the most joyous and silly of folk music to a sad and moving piece so easily! They are truly some of the greatest musical talents to grace this planet of ours.
I feel like I should do something

I can imagine loads of Russian guys singing this and dancing at work or something.
***** So true. We sing sing this song while feeding our bears vodka to take their attention off the adjustments we do to the nuclear generators on their backs.
Dmitry Kozhevnikov While playing hockey and watching Boris Godunov at the Marijinski;-)
Among other things. I'm sure you can understand that I 'can't remember them all being as imbued with vodka and radiation as I am most of the time.
***** Not Russian songs ! But SOVIET !
DoggieSplash I know.
Part 2 of Samovars
Refrain:
Oh, military samovar, friend,
Your fiercely boiling water is too hot!
Military samovars
Provide unheard-of fever
What outstanding samovars!
Military samovars
Provide unheard-of fever
What outstanding samovars!
Tula’s tea is not sweet completely
For unbidden guests -
In any case of the using of sugar
It burns to bones.
Tea is served with poultice
And with a hot sugar candy,
Samovars of Tula’s trademark
Provide fever and lead [2].
Greetings form the USA! A nice song with which to have a nice comradely tea party!
USA? What do you mean with Tea-Party than?
A samovar is a Russian device for brewing tea.
Did not know that. Thanks, Alex. I guess it is not really a good song to drink tea to then.
Nancy Hey Americans really make great tea parties, with lots of fireworks and noise :D
You mean a vodka party right?
beautiful
A happy song for a happy day!
wait a second.....
Hoooooowl! I love this song. It is so energetic and it gives me so much power.
it still works. i miss this song. :D
Never die
Glory of Tula smiths -
Samrvary-samopaly
Contrived for the fighters.
In this tricky samovar
Crane custom combat:
A mile of the enemy scald
Kipyatochek fire!
Chorus:
Oh, you hot in kipyatochek,
Samovar samopal, dearie!
Pyshut unprecedented fervor
Samovar-samopaly,
That's samovars!
Tula is not sweet tea
For uninvited guests -
And a bit of sugar, and superimposed
Burns to the skin.
Tea is served with a poultice
And hot candy,
Tula samovars brand
Pyshut heat and lead.
Chorus.
We all encounter bandits
Battle of habit
And ......... strong tea
And the water of fire.
Gets straight to the point,
If lightning runs
Enemy drunk boiling water -
Immediately lies dead!
Chorus.
If the enemy wants war -
Put bluntly, the enemy was gone:
Zahlopochet, zaklokochet
Samovar-samopal.
From such a samovar
Will cover the Whites,
For such samovars -
Honor and glory of Tula!
European champion Hah hah. xD Yes. It's true.
European champion
I know there must be a logical explanation; but I agree with you guys, why such an epic song for water-boilers lol.
Well, Russians do like their tea.
danthalios Its true, I'm Russian and I do love tea.
Song about 122 mm mortars. So they were called the Soviet soldiers during world war II. The song that for any invaders attacked Russia always prepared "special" meal, after which a single aggressor would not survive. Hello from Russia.
Iosif Stalin Maybe we can all agree that they need to change the lyrics; and keep the awesome music. I don't want to hear any Russian song about Turkish boilers. Lets make a Russian song about something Serbian, that would make better sense.
Iosif Stalin I'm Russian. What part of the song did I not understand? Let me listen to the words again lol.
Simply wonderful, positive music and vocals.
Vasily Chapayev (aka king based) from red flood brought me here
This song refers to two Tula's noble production - samovar's (самовары) and guns, it is mentionned the first but it is obviously and funny allusion to the second.
wat. This song is about the city of Tula, famous for its production of Samovars, which produced Submachineguns for the red army during WW2, the samopaly in the song. It dates to the great patriotic war, not the soviet afghan war.
Thank you for telling
It dates Soviet-Finish war, song was released in 1940 and not performed in early WW2 cause it is too optimistic and it will be performed only on January 21, 1942 and will be broadcasted on the radio (which greatly surprised the author, who was traveling on the train at the time and heard his song).
very nice
QUE EXCELENTE CANCIÓN,PODEROSA HACE TIEMPO Y NO ESCUCHABA ALGO IGUAL ESTA CANCIÓN ANIMA A CUALQUIER RUSO DEPRIMIDO O CUALQUIER EX-SOVIÉTICO A RECORDAR A SU GRAN NACIÓN
This is what the west has little of harmony, single voice choirs and dare I say a great song, the Alexandrov choir is unique and always delivers bravo brave boys bravo

A samovar is a fancy russian water heating device, right?
Renee Rolevink yes, something like that
water+tea, not only water.
Not this one...
Samovar is the nickname of mortars and sometimes machineguns of the Maxim-system.

The Red Army Choir (aka the Alexandrov Ensemble) still exists and is still the official army choir of the Russian Federation.

I love it when this plays while I'm fighting a tank in L4D2.
RUSSIANS DOESNT NEED BIG GUNS! eHEN THEY PLAY THEİR MUSİCS THE OPPENT CANT OPEN FIRE TO THEM! ı need the music to end before ı fire! Such beatiful, amazing wonderful songs.. I envy russians most for their songs and magnificent dances..! Hrashoo!
Ah yes. I wonder if there are any composers who make soviet style music in 2020?
Yes. That's why at one point they say they make samovars (tea making apparatus) in peace and samoplay (guns) in war
Based on the title, I thought this was some (tea) drinking song. That is until I looked up the translated lyrics...
This is for sarsgarrs requesting the lyrics. I am not sure how accurate they are, that said, enjoy the lyrics (in stages) with my compliments....
The glory of Tula’s blacksmiths [1]
Never disappeared.
They made military samovars
For our soldiers.
A special combat cock is
In this involved samovar:
The stream of fiery fiercely boiling water
Will scald an enemy at a kilometer’s distance.
The stream of fiery fiercely boiling water
Will scald an enemy at a kilometer’s distance.
Круто
True...
where can i find the correct lyrics for this song. i looked up the lyrics on sovmusic but the third stanza is different from the lyrics sung in this video. please help.
Sometimes I wonder. Are the old communists of youtube still here? Is comrade phantasm still even alive?
anyone know how this song called in Russian? I wrote Samovar in Russian, but the only thing I got were the water boilers
that's what the song is about, water boilers and guns.

Part 4 of Samovars - Final Verse
Repeat refrain.
If an enemy will want a war
So it is possible to say that he will perish,
Because our military samovar
Will begin to seethe.
Such a military samovar will provide
The giant stream of fiercely boiling water.
Hail and glory
To the Tula’s master
For such samovars!
Hail and glory
To the Tula’s master
For such samovars!
Repeat refrain
xaxaxa I agree and i'm american
Part 3 of Samovars
Repeat refrain.
We meet all the bandits
According a good old combat tradition:
We meet them and with Kremlin’s strong tea,
And with fiercely boiling water.
It hits exactly the mark,
Like lightning beats.
If enemy will drink some fiercely boiling water
He will be dead right away.
If enemy will drink some fiercely boiling water
He will be dead right away.
I gotta joke
Did you mean work like... army??
This song is how I imagine Moscow
Samovars are such same as Turkish Semaver. I cannot say who stole but I just know that they passed away from caucasus to Russia or Turkey cos the Northeastern Anatolia is most tea producer on Turkey and they like drinkin it.
Semaverin kökeni Rusçaya dayanıyor , o yüzden semaver diyoruz zaten . Pek olmayınca Rusça kelime garipsiyor insan tabi
Viva communism!🚩♥️🚀🎈🇷🇺
You picked the emojis well
It's not anything catchy like the tea we brew is the blood of our enemy's or something like that
Does anyone has the lyrics with Latin characters?
