Here we pull off SR18 in Southern Utah to do some rockhounding! Today we are looking for Jasperoids! The amount of Jasper we find is amazing! Just wait until you see what is found!!!
I heard the term "Jasperoid" from the Tri-state lead district of Ok, Ks and Mo. There it is grey on grey jasper. The jasper was broken with uplift, then cemented with more grey jasper. Thanks for your video.
Yep it's a fossils critter from the waters millions years ago I forget the actual name but my father called them rollie pollies, lol, anyways can't believe all the agates and jaspers just laying around in a circle good find❤️😔🙏
Beautiful finds! Your videos crack me up 😂
Glad I can be entertaining and informative!

There are some nice colours in those rocks. Thanks for sharing! :o)
Thanks! They are some nice rocks!
It would definitely be interesting to cut these stones into slices and polish the slices ⚒👍🤠
They do make some beautiful cabs!
Crinoids are round cylinders. the black edge may come from Swamp Carbon when jasper-agate is in wet marsh conditions. Panama has black rimmed agate.
Thanks! Yeah I was starting to think crinoids! You sure helped concrete that thought!

Crinoid? I was thinking it was something along those lines! Thanks for the comment!
the small peice looked like limb casting
It very well could be a limb cast piece of petrified wood! There is some of that around! Thanks for watching and the comment!
Is this near the volcano?
No, this is almost to Enterprise. :)
