-Spell Focus Necromancy and Spell Specialization in Negative Eruption would be a good combo to buff that already awesome spell, but i haven't seen you using it so it's probably not needed for your playstyle - I've never taken empower metamagic as a feat. I'm practically swimming in empower metamagic rods by this point. Bolster, yes, because there are no rods for that - I'd take Combat Reflexes on every melee character with outflank and ever Ready, even if their base dexterity is low. The more attacks of opportunity, the better.
@noamto Good catch. I forget that it's one of the few mythic spells that is capped. You get a few extra temp hitlpoints from caster levels, only. The point stands, though. Combo will work for Feast of Blood, it's not exactly Storm of Justice, but a caster level 30+ Feast of Blood will still demolish most enemies, if paired with maximize,bolster and empower metamagic, which is easy to do at this point.
@@tranquility__ Haven't tested it in-game for a long time. Going by the spell description, it seems to follow the rules of an AoE Harm spell, and that is capped at caster level 15.
Good discussion in this comment! Yeah for this playstyle it is not something I would bother with since we're mostly killing things with our weapons, the spells are just gravy.

Yeah, this was my impression as well, but when I see a large group I always stop to think twice :p

What would specialising in Negative Eruption do? It doesn't benefit from extra caster levels.

Did they fix negative eruption? The damage was uncapped last time I played lich.
