The tier 3 sets was such a long explanation that at some point I zoned out completely and had to rewind. Mother of god is that a lot of steps to do just to get some armor.
@@RunehearthCL Most people who got Tier 3 originally no longer plays. Most people you see with are ajust people who are at gold cap and sat camping the BMAH. They should have just brought back original phased Naxx at this point
Ah yes, Blizzard milking their time sinks as much as they can instead of just reopening the old raid for people to easily gather transmog. Reminds me of why I don't play this game any more.
I got Zaquul's Pauldrons while it was current, doing my guilds heroic clear on my DK, I almost traded them because the Azerite traits weren't my BiS. Later learned how rare they were and almost had a heart attack after learning that they were so rare.
I got Zin'rokth back in Cataclysm. Didn't realize how rare it was back then. I didn't have a decent weapon in the slot, was just happy I got a good weapon.
Best part about the zin'rokh appearance: it was a drop in old zg. If you kept it all the way from back then in your inventory or bank until transmog released you could get it without ever doing archeology at all.
I had the original and got the archaeology version within a week of Cataclysm launching. I didn't learn until much later that apparently it's a huge PITA to farm for most people. lol
I usually know the 90% of the facts in your videos but dude the Old Naxxramas was crazy!! I didnt know they added at lest its a cool way to play old content
The tier 3 set farm/quest chain sounded awesome until the end where after going through all that you now need to find someone who's played vanilla, done naxx, and still plays to this day for you to get the set. Way to kill an otherwise cool quest chain for just transmog.
No, you can get the achievement if you get a full set on your account. If you, like many players, got a full set at the BMAH, you get the achiev. No need to have done Naxx back in the day ;) just find a player that got a full set using the crafting feature from Dragonflight. EDIT: Some classes have pieces from their set share the appearance with items from Burning Crusade. Saves you 1 or 2 items worth of gold.
Ummm I know people with OG T3 still playing. Remember Naxx 40 existed until Wrath launched. My BC guild went back in Naxx before Wrath dropped to show those who didn't do it the in's and out's. Imagine the disappointment when we full cleared L80 Naxx 25 in a night. Only fun part was reminding the server who the top guild in BC was and would be staying at the top in Wrath. So yeah find someone who bought the BMAH set. Not as hard as you think.
u just put in a work order for it, it usually takes less than an hour for someone to craft it for you. for example u buy ur lamented crusader items off the AH for whatever T3 u want (u can skip the RNG of getting a lamented item for 100-200k per item) go to the goblin vendor and buy the phylacterweave for the items u want to craft (2.8 million gold for the set) then go put a work order in, lets say u want warrior T3 u put in a work order for "Undeath metal" and someone will craft it for u in no time. u can then turn ur lamented crusader item into warrior T3. "Cursed Cloth" is the item for the cloth sets, cant remember what the name for the mail set is but u get the idea. T3 is STUPID easy to get its just a money sink. its not rare whatsoever anymore. or u can still go to BMAH and watch idiots bid more on the items than they could have crafted them for. saw a T3 warrior leg go for 1.7m when u can buy it and all the materials to craft it for 690k
I mostly lucked out on the original naxx set. I bought 4/8 for cheap during legion. A zone drop in Kara happens to share the appearance of the boots. The bracers, which is a reward for completing the steps, happen to be one of the 3 I'm missing. Then I got the other two tokens easily. I still haven't bought the weave.
That damned archaeology sword. I remember spending a few hours farming every day for a couple weeks and never got it. I hope that blizz one day has old archaeology stuff function like the newer versions where the rares are on a rotation so you can eventually get it.
i farmed and the Ultramarine Qiraji Battle Tank back in the day. not sure how hard the grind is now since i dont play retail, but i was lucky enough to get the sword to drop from ZG about a week before it was removed running on a lvl 60 character. i remember there was a 1h sword with a unique yellow glow that i was never fortunate enough to get to drop, Scimitar of the Scirocco?
its super easy to get the items in archeology, u only get rare items once per character. so keep farming troll dig sites and u will get it eventually. it only took me about 16 hours to get it. i got every single rare troll item before it though. u can also go to pandaria and do manted dig sites and then exchange the items for troll tokens or any other type of tokens u want its the fastest way to get something. I did it for the scarab mount just the other day, took almost 6 hours to get it just farming manted dig sites and exchanging the solves for fragments.
It is not OLD Naxxramas. To clarify: It's wotlk naxxramas but the bosses now drop scourgestones which is your new currency to buy tokens. These tokens CAN contain Lamented pieces that you then "fix" (or just sell on AH) with a ton of gold and other mats and eventually turn into T3 pieces. The tokens will mostly give you old greens from Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. The recipies are your source for all the old weapons and other not-tier armor that dropped from old naxxramas. Before you ask: No Ashbringer, no legendary staff.
@@alexanderliebertz4172you are the one who is wrong friend. You get lamented crusader pieces from the new vendor which you then desecrate with special crafted items to turn them into the old tokens which can be purified with righteous orbs and expensive vendor mats to obtain original t3 pieces
I had no idea that Zealous Felslinger and World-Defiler transmog was considered hard to find. I got both sets during Legion by parking rogues in key locations, logging in every 4 hours to see if any of them were up, and sending in my clothies/plate wearers to kill when I found one of those elites up. Also, the Xavius shoulders randomly drop from shoulder tokens purchased on the Vindicaar from Thaumaturge Vashreen. Of course they're rare, but I have gotten them several times over the years. Also, to get 190 ilvl azerite gear with Longstrider for a speed set, carry a 59 twink through a normal BfA dungeon, who will trade the piece to you when it drops.
It was August 2023 a crappy work day and the world felt like crap. Again I log on and head to the scarlet lands 4 years and still fruitless then God came saw my bad day and said: Here have a useless maguffin! And LO after my 4 year hunt I was blessed with that Scarlet Tarbad! MY SUIT IS COMPLETE! Thank you for playing WOW!
Argus Transmog is pretty much the most longest grind to get all of the legion and draenei transmog outfits. It took a long time for me to get the both of them and I'm still getting them to this very day.
I need 6 months(+/-) to get Dakrshore heroic front(BFA) set. You have a back from world boss, anything alse is only one try per 2 weeks. For one item only. Also it can be a duplicate, also it can be from normal difficulty with bonus item level. So that 6 months was preety lucky. And still need 1 item from Argus. One day...
Thankfully, you will be able to unlock any transmog on any class with the warbands in the next expansion. That will make some collections easier hopefully.
Yup. I gave up retail in Legion as a player since Vanilla. Went private servers and came back for Classic. No intention of playing modern WoW. Not the same game and my interests have changed.
There is a Maldraxxaus transmog back piece that is super insane to get. Not only do you NEED to be a necrolord (This may not be relevant anymore) but you need to wait for a world quest that may or may not be up at the time. On top of that, there needs to be a rare that only spawns during this world quest, which may or may not even spawn. Even further so, you need to get lucky because the drop rate for said item is about a 5% drop chance and you only get that one shot to kill him. Once he's dead he's gone and may not even respawn. The NPC in question is Nirvaska the Summoner The item Beckoner's Shadowy Crystal
SHADOWLANDS WAS MENTIONED. I don't know how it compares, but the 3 rares in Zereth Mortis (Damaris, Marzan, and Iska) that spawn in that desert sinkhole to the north-east, that only spawn from killing some possibly random number of other rares in the zone. (So enjoy spending all day trying to get it to spawn, and then rage as it randomly spawns the rare you don't want.) The weapons are class-restricted, so just because you CAN equip that weapon type doesn't mean it will drop. It features some very unique looking flails in a 4 colors. (search 1H mace for "chains" for 2 of them) Luckily they changed the mobs to give out a zone-wide yell, spawn a minute after that, AND be invincible for a few seconds after spawning so that you can ensure you tag it. (It's more than I can say for Hirukon, for the mount. If you're on the other end of the zone, you won't make it in time.)
I remeber doing Uldaman runs to try and get that minig hat with the candle, but was never able to get it. I got the Pendulum of Doom instead, but I had no idea it was supposed to be a rare item so I just learned the mog and vendored it... Fml
You should've included the new achievements that give you the full sets of goggles transmogs, specifically the TBC/Wrath one. According to Data for Azeroth, only .1311% of players have this. This achievement is not retroactive, and only just came out in 10.1.7, so unless you already had all of the TBC goggles recipes learned, you have to not only go farm/buy all of the Sunwell recipe drops (and a few soulbound world drops), but you also need to buy all of the materials in order to craft them yourself. This is just for one of the achievements. The Legion one was even worse before they fixed be able to purchase Sprocket Containers from Hobart Grapplehammer. Previously, the only way to obtain these was to farm mobs with the Boon of the Builder enchant, which seemed to be bugged unless you were actually a Legion-level character. These boxes contained a 2% chance for *each* of the 4 schematics needed from them, and that's only 4/12 total needed for the achievement. While it is easier/actually possible now, if you combine the effort to get all five of the Chromatic Calibration achievements and thus all of the universally transmoggable goggle appearances (all colors regardless of armor/profession), definitely deserves to be in the top 10 for time, RNG, and cost.
The worst part is that even when you are 'done' you still need the hardest part in finding someone who has the old T3 mogs AND can craft them for you. Like the grind just to get all the pieces is insane enough, but they just had to add in that last part for lols. Soon those old T3 will be actually unobtainable once all the OG T3 wearers are done.
@akaraven66 umm BMAH T3 works fine. And why does it matter. All the people crying it's too difficult would have never earned it back when did it or even in Wrath or BC (we farmed it). So why do they keep crying? They're greedy AF children
@@akaraven66 the hard part about raiding in vanilla wow was getting 40 people that could actually play the game, lets not kid ourselves with it, thats the whole "vanilla is so hard" topic, it was hard because the internet and pcs were trash back then, people didn't know what they are doing, and the game was new, that was hard, not the actual game lol
I got all three shoulders listed in the number 8 spot. Tusks of Mannoroth, Pauldrons of Za'qul and First Satyr's Spaulders. Feels good not having to farm any of them ever again.
I genuinely don't understand the hate for Archeology. That is, hands down, my favorite profession in the game.... and every one of my characters levelled it, with my main having it maxed out. I understood (but hated) why it got dropped in Shadowlands, but dear God did I want it back for Dragon isles.
Seeing how hard it is to get the Tier 3 set now, I'm happy I got the full set back in vanilla and kept it in my bank (transmog wasn't a thing yet and I had worked too hard for it to just vendor it). I dont think I will ever change my druids transmog.
Eh, I think if you're completely consistent and keep searching for the item you want every day, you'll eventually get it. That's how I got the Thaurissan staff, Tyrande's doll, and Zin'Rokh, which was pretty much just as annoying as Tyrande's doll. All of them took some months of digging along the Dread Wastes and Townlong Steppes, and I got the qiraji tank and everything else. Same with mounts like ashes of Alar, Invincible, etc. People tell you "I've never seen it in 12 years", but the reality is they've never tried consistently every week, if the had, they would have gotten them in some months or a year maximum. Now, the one farm that is taking too long and is making me lose hope is the "Not quite removed" items from Scarlet Monastery: The Ruthless Shiv, Sliverblade, Archon Breastplate, Fight Club, Flintrock Shoulders, Warchief Kilt. Those items were supposed to be removed with the Pandaria remake of the dungeon, but people have confirmed they can actually drop from the Cemetery-Cathedral part if you try A LOT, like 10000 times. The items aren't even in the collection tab in WoW, but still people are confirming they still drop. It's making me go insane go through the same dungeon every day. What I have no idea is if those items could drop from the old brought back Scarlet Wings. I've tried, but the only difference is you get a lot of "normal" rares, but I've haven't seen the special "almost unobtainable" ones. If someone could confirm that'd be great, but the information is quite limited. For now, I'm still doing the Pandaria version, since it's the only one where I have confirmation. Edit: the Ruthless Shiv is finally mine. And yes, it dropped from the Pandaria version of the Cemetery-Cathedral. The items existed! It'd be fine if Blizzard just went and fixed them. I'm afraid I'll eventually encounter a similar crazy farm in Uldaman...
Man the Tier 3 steps....why the hell would they make you jump through so many hoops?! And how the hell did anyone have the patience to actually figure that all out? Just listening to the explaination is making my mind go blank
It was a badge of honor even in late TBC before OG Naxx got removed. Blizz has been adding back a lot of the deleted content from pre-MoP/Cata, and there have *always* been obscure secrets in WoW. It takes a bit of time and effort, but it feels good to do it.
Requiring another player that already has T3 is fucking absurd lmao. The questline to unlock old Scholo and old Naxx aren't enough, relying on RNG after that point isn't enough, literal millions of gold isn't enough - god forbid somebody obtains a 20yr old armor set without doing the labors of Hercules
yes it was, now its just some useless time/money waste 4,2m in npc items for 1 set is just stupid literally no one cares if u got t3 in 05/06 or bought from bmah/stupid df quest shit just another way of blizzard to earn tons of money bcs people buying tokens or wasting huge amoutn of time nice badge of honor rofl@@Kylora2112
@@astrusofficialBMAH....you seem to forget. Also it's long gone items. People crying need to suck it up. Y'all asked for removed tier sets in a removed raid that requires a removed dungeon. You got it. You didn't get it on a silver platter. Oh I'm an OG Winterspring Frostsaber (pre-nerfs) and OG The Insane (started the grind when achievements were announced). The current T3 grind seems a lot less mind numbing than the hours and days I spent doing 2-3 quests repeatedly to get a mount. Plus farming AD rep and gearing for Naxx 40 and helping others do the same? 😂 the description of the requirements for it now are a dream. Plus you're OP and don't need 39+ other people to go in, kill trash and bosses, and farm for months or maybe a year to get. Much easier.
I actually farmed a gin su sword back in wod. I don't remember exacly but i was grinding it for multiple days. My server was dead at the time and i couldn't get someone to buy it for 150k so i learned it myself. Rouge with burst of speed was broken af....
The best way to get T3 is to be patient and by it from the black market auction house. I have the rogue set since vanilla and managed to get 55 out of 72 tier 3 set pieces, 47 of these 55 from the BMAH. I think the most gold I've spend for a single item was 250k g.
Haven't played since 2011 I'm basically waiting for wow 2 at this point so I can no life comfortably. These videos even make me want to play again but the rose tinted glasses are real!
For anyone that needs Argent Dawn rep if you do the caravan questline (I forget the worgen NPC's name) in the plaguelands you'll get to Exalted by the end
it gets you to revered (unless they buffed it) at which point you need to do the repeatable quest to collect the annals of stratholme from the room opposite Balnazzar or kill rattlegore in scholomance. You need to do either or both quests multiple times till you hit exalted. I recommend doing the annals, rather than rattlegore, grab the quest run into stratholme at go to the room opposite balnazzar, loot the book then return to light's hope to turn in the quest, pick up the quest again and run back to where you looted it the first time, you do not need to even reset the instance (unless you want the trasmog), grab the book again, go back to light's hope and repeat. If you do rattlegore you have to reset the instance every time since he is a boss also scholomance has more travel time than stratholme.
Fun story; I actually had a Pendulum of Doom in OG Vanilla on a 39 twink Warrior. I'd seen it on wowhead and at the time people would advertise items on realm forums to be sold cross-faction on the neutral AH. I spent WEEKS on those forums for my server (shoutout Dath'remar) and eventually found someone who had a PoD. Keep in mind at this time it wasn't known just how rare and valuable those Uldaman items were. We messaged back and forth for hours organising a time to do the trade so it wouldn't get sniped and the next day I got up at 5am and snuck on the computer to buy this weapon on the neutral AH. The absolute craziest thing about it all? I paid 80 gold for it.
Fun fact: I had a period during WOTLK where i was OBSSESSED with twinking at 39, and i also found it very fun to farm Uldaman. I made a whole guild called Stranglethornvale Police Departament or something of the sort on this Warmane private server. I farmed Uldaman so much that i had 2 tabs of rare items where I had like 10x Pendulum of Dooms, the black miner hat , and all of the listed items in 20x or even 30x along with other rare 39 twinking items. Twinking were so rare , i hated being alone so to insentivise activity I geared people for a symbolical price. Guild flourished on the server so much so that 2 years after quitting playing there, the people I guided into twinking and geared myself made duplicates of the guild and continued the same route i did and geared other people. 6 years later , my characters no longer exist there because i didnt log in for an insane amount of time, but i logged to check on the bracket and the bracket is as alive as 80 lvl (max) where people would organize pvp events like 1v1 , last man standing, battlegrounds and you just hit me with an insane levels of nostalgia. I had a rogue under the name of Gothie where I would play a rogue, almost fully geared with green items that gave sololy Attack Power or a combination of strenght + agility. Was fun oneshoting 10 + levels above me and me and my guild were a total manace to anybody leveling in Stranglethorn Vale as a horde. We lovel world pvp so much so that we we're wining either way. We play on our 39's toons ->world pvp > people get mad -> they log on their 80 lvl mains -> we log on ours - > world pvp
On the topic of Zin'Rokh, when I decided to go for it during MoP back in the day, I went from 0 Archeology to getting Zin'Rokh within 3 days. I think I used up all my luck for the rest of my life with that one.
I can attest to the painful grind of Tusks, I had mount actually drop 3 times before shoulders dropped. Xavius too took me over 7 months of not missing a lockout....ugh, but it was worth it.
i remember trying to farm pendulum and papa fez hat - i think i only dropped ginnsu sword - papa fez hat and pendulum are so rare - a lot rarer than they shoul be - i saw explanation that it is bcs of level squish, the mobs have too high lvl for them to drop those stuff with a bit higher chance, so you are fishing for low chance - your best bet is ironically the chest at the end of the dungeon, bcs it doesnt have level
I actually farmed the Ginn-Su sword for my ninja rogue, since it is the only katana like one handed sword that you can wear on the back. I gave up after a week or so and bought it from the AH for 30k or so. Either the people on my server didn’t know the value or it increased over time. Either way, it looks awesome to have one katana on your side and one on your back
For the Pauldrons currently all you need to do is save a heroic lockout with a non plate class, then share it every week with your plate users. In TWW you can start spamming anyone since mogs will be able to be collected by any class.
i remember farming archaelogy at the start of cata. while everyone wanted zin'rokh, i tried to get the staff off of dwarven relics. ive never seen the staff, but i got the sword pretty quickly and gave it to my dk. the amount of messages i got, because a green equipped noob got "muh sword" was obsurd
I saw pendulum of doom drop in classic a few years back... I just greeded it. Had no idea it was worth so much. Probably neither did the guy who won because i think they equipped it.
Reminder that back at the start of Shadowlands there was a toy that gave you either a full T3 appearance or a ToS set appearance when you used it and people who "earned" tier 3 aka sat in front of the BMAH sniping people while at gold cap, complained so much that Blizz changed the trinket to basically 9/10 just give you the ToS appearance and increased its cool down significantly The fact people are still trying to gate keep Tier 3 armor is pathetic. No one who actually got a full set back in the day is probably still playing and the only people that have it are just gold cappers. Not spending millions upon millions of gold for some mid tier sets
in reguards to having to be on a toon of that armor class to add to the transmog list is going in war within. So the Za'qul shoulders will be much easier to get if you just use a hunter to separate the bosses.
There are armor sets that are dropping from the War Within prepatch event that don't show up in appearance tab until you loot them. They are rare quality and seen to have a pretty low drop chance
Pendulum of Doom has been priceless forever. It used to be so good for a level 39 twink shaman and so rare that seeing one in BC typically meant it was going for 10k+. That was pretty much generational wealth then.
After having the Tusks drop twice on non-plate toons (and over 1000 Garrosh clears, and that’s a very conservative estimate) over the last decade, they finally dropped today for my warrior. How appropriate that this video has dropped today, cause it’s a damn good day!
I have Apron,Zin'Rokh,Pendulum of Doom, the Jackhammer and probably few more(Argus robe pieces and Ulduman rare drops,I can't remember,I've stopped playing game since the mid B4A)
I got the felslinger mog set during legion from having cloth toons doing dailies there. Also have duty bound necrolord set was a pain but did it for achievement
I currently have 1405 ironpaw token thanks to nomi's daily quest. And about 50 great pandaren feasts I troll my raid with. Its just a free bag everyday.
checks account noticing i have 4 out of the ulduman items. (axe, sword, hammer and fez) had them all on a alt way WAY back and just logged in to all of them when the transmog wardrobe became a thing. also have a lot of the older t3 pieces from actually progressing nax back in the day.
Im sure there are even more rare transmogs in Uldaman than the 'magnificent 7'. I know that the mobs on your way TO the dungeon can drop them too and I seem to recall 'the shoveler' being dropped there?
Haven't checked what my progress ended up being but I remember the cooking dailies fondly back in MoP for whatever reason I was super into them and stuck with them consistently..wonder how close I actually am to the apron lol
I got the plate world defiler shoulderpiece back in Legion and didn't pay much attention to it until one day I figured "wait, isn't there supposed to be a full set of those? I don't even remember how I got the shoulders."
@@davidfence6939 more like sane people that are not mentally ill enough to actually commit to such ridiculous amount of tasks just for some low polygon transmog
Glad I managed to snag Zin'rokh and Jin'rohk back in the day. The levels of asinine decisions to remove Jin and lock Zin behind extreme rng is baffling.
I have the world defiler set, tusks which I got on my 4th heroic/mythic kill when current content which made many people jealous, the necrolord set for cloth, Zin'rokh from archeology and the original zg version, tier 3 actually from naxx40 still enchanted with no longer available enchants
@hiru I feel I need to point out that in 18:54 you CAN NOT unlock "Old" Naxx. There is no OLD Naxx, you only get access to regular Naxx and an easier way to access it to farm the materials needed to craft all the old Tier 3 sets. But I need to stress this more, do not do this quest line if you want to mog run Old Naxx. The only thing that whole quest chain unlocks is Old Scholo. Don't do what I just did after watching this. Wasted a whole afternoon lol.....
Might be worth to wait until War Within before hard farming a lot of this (assuming you're not already doing so). War Within will remove the class requirements for transmog. I.e. Pauldrons of Za'qul are Plate shoulders but you'll be able to get the transmog appearance playing on a Priest, or Druid, or anything that doesn't wear plate
The pauldrons of zaquul are no longer the best speed shoulders, since the bfa dungeons scale up to level 60 now, you can get the dungeon azerite items with longstrider at ilvl 194, which is 17 ilvls higher than the shoulders from eternal palace
I’m surprised the Chromatic Sword is not on that list. Also how do I have the archeology sword but not the archeology mount despite actually farming for the later for hundreds of attempts and never trying for the sword
Don't get me wrong I like the Teir 3 set but good lord the amount of steps you have to go through just to get it.. yeah no more of blizz's "we don't have any content let's make this incredibly tedious and annoying to farm because people love transmog".. at a certain point it just isn't worth it to me. But everyone do you.. I had to skip over the whole SL stuff cause I'd love to forget that Expansion Existed Just like Many people want to forget that Cata existed XD
queens court was so easy as mm hunter, i used to solo this raid for the mail mog. i heard they nerfed the queens court recently so anyone wanting to run it should be able to get past it for the zaq shoulders
As someone who hasn't played retail WoW for years, would someone be able to answer this for me? With Old Naxxramas being possible to now access via that long method mentioned, does that mean the legendary Atiesh staff is now also obtainable again?
for my understanding. create a twink and turn off xp then go to chromie and switch to any timeline and do party sync quest with a friend that both obtain the salvaged cache of goods? do i need to play a specific class to obtain the greatsword?
you need a second part, It will take more that are difficult, but also the most needy and difficult to get, whether it is a drop rate like the Glorious Legplates and their tier set. As well as that Blizzard should return to the old glories of bikini armors like Vanilla, and not a failed attempt that it is making now just in this expansion

To find some one who can make is not that hard is easy ? No but not hard.
The JackHammer is also the BiS 2 Hander in timewalking for classes that can use it, so that's a nice bonus.
What? No it's not...the ilvl is abysmally low for any of the timewalks
Definitely some way to reroll your current artifact would improve archaeology massively.
i farmed and the Ultramarine Qiraji Battle Tank back in the day. not sure how hard the grind is now since i dont play retail, but i was lucky enough to get the sword to drop from ZG about a week before it was removed running on a lvl 60 character. i remember there was a 1h sword with a unique yellow glow that i was never fortunate enough to get to drop, Scimitar of the Scirocco?
its super easy to get the items in archeology, u only get rare items once per character. so keep farming troll dig sites and u will get it eventually. it only took me about 16 hours to get it. i got every single rare troll item before it though. u can also go to pandaria and do manted dig sites and then exchange the items for troll tokens or any other type of tokens u want its the fastest way to get something.
Wrong you cant get the old t3 naxx Set in this tokens. Only way to get the original t3 Set is bmah
Did you watch the video?
@@alexanderliebertz4172you are the one who is wrong friend. You get lamented crusader pieces from the new vendor which you then desecrate with special crafted items to turn them into the old tokens which can be purified with righteous orbs and expensive vendor mats to obtain original t3 pieces
Back in cata i farmed like 500 troll artifact at max prof without seeing it. I got so pissed that I left the game.
I looted 3 Papal Fez's (in about 1000 runs) during Legion. Good times. Never saw any of the other mogs in Uld though
One day...
I got the whole set in about a month or so. But getting Wrathblade took about 5 years for me. It was MUCH worse than many of these in the video.
The Glazer o.O
The Glizzy
It's a sweet weapon
Some day, I will get this transmog.
Me when Aszhara
It was a different time
Thankfully, you will be able to unlock any transmog on any class with the warbands in the next expansion. That will make some collections easier hopefully.
Crazy that you still make wow content, entertaining as hell
The NPC in question is Nirvaska the Summoner
The item Beckoner's Shadowy Crystal
LMAO the naxx tier 3 gear explanation took so long that I had to skip 2 sets of youtube commercials lol that was ridiculous.
(So enjoy spending all day trying to get it to spawn, and then rage as it randomly spawns the rare you don't want.)
The weapons are class-restricted, so just because you CAN equip that weapon type doesn't mean it will drop. It features some very unique looking flails in a 4 colors. (search 1H mace for "chains" for 2 of them)
Luckily they changed the mobs to give out a zone-wide yell, spawn a minute after that, AND be invincible for a few seconds after spawning so that you can ensure you tag it.
Fml
Ok
The amount of dev time used to create that t3 grind is crazy for how few people will be willing to go do all of that
The worst part is that even when you are 'done' you still need the hardest part in finding someone who has the old T3 mogs AND can craft them for you.
@@davidfence6939 earning it back in Naxx was easier.
@@sztachu WoW Classic proves your point. Old Naxx just needs to come back, blizzard is just too stubborn for some reason.
I got all three shoulders listed in the number 8 spot. Tusks of Mannoroth, Pauldrons of Za'qul and First Satyr's Spaulders. Feels good not having to farm any of them ever again.
I got the tusks on like, 5 runs I believe. So thankful cuz that instance was hellla long

I genuinely don't understand the hate for Archeology. That is, hands down, my favorite profession in the game.... and every one of my characters levelled it, with my main having it maxed out. I understood (but hated) why it got dropped in Shadowlands, but dear God did I want it back for Dragon isles.
It would fit Dragonflight indeed!
theres an entire faction for archeology and they didnt bring it back. thats gonna bother me for awhile.
Seeing how hard it is to get the Tier 3 set now, I'm happy I got the full set back in vanilla and kept it in my bank (transmog wasn't a thing yet and I had worked too hard for it to just vendor it).
I dont think I will ever change my druids transmog.
Can you do a video on what and how each class hall contributed to fighting the legion? I don’t want to play through all the classes to find out.
If you still have your argent dawn trinket from vanilla it will work for scourgestones as well.
Lol kept that and AD tabard on my original Vanilla druid and paladin. Not subbing again.

Rouge with burst of speed was broken af....
i liked archeology... sigh
Same I had blast getting the fossilized raptor mount back in the day
Archology is absolute dogshit. There is nothing fun about RNG bullshit and having to do so much traveling. It's not nearly as good as you remember it.
If you do rattlegore you have to reset the instance every time since he is a boss also scholomance has more travel time than stratholme.
had 2 toons in krokuun for a year straight for the world defiler set, its all i wear now and it goes perfectly with the tabard of nature
Man I’m glad I got the World Defiler set during Legion. I didn’t realize how rare it is
Fun fact: I had a period during WOTLK where i was OBSSESSED with twinking at 39, and i also found it very fun to farm Uldaman.
I can vividly remember you recking my enhance shammy that had lvls on you. I was half afk running to booty bay to fish....
I farmed out Zin'rokh back in cata. That was a wild grind.
I have Zin’rokh! And I don’t think I even focused it specifically and got it reasonably early while playing around with the archaeology profession.
i remember trying to farm pendulum and papa fez hat - i think i only dropped ginnsu sword - papa fez hat and pendulum are so rare - a lot rarer than they shoul be - i saw explanation that it is bcs of level squish, the mobs have too high lvl for them to drop those stuff with a bit higher chance, so you are fishing for low chance - your best bet is ironically the chest at the end of the dungeon, bcs it doesnt have level
I actually farmed the Ginn-Su sword for my ninja rogue, since it is the only katana like one handed sword that you can wear on the back. I gave up after a week or so and bought it from the AH for 30k or so.
Either the people on my server didn’t know the value or it increased over time. Either way, it looks awesome to have one katana on your side and one on your back
That feeling when I got Zin'Rokh in WoD without even knowing it came from archaeology. I just had fun doing the best secondary profession. Feelsgood.
I've wanted Zinrokh since vanilla. The old naxxromas quests were actually really fun.
The party sync boxes can actually be obtained without having friends.
If you are in chromie time, you'll get 1 for every LFG Dungeon you complete
farmed Zin'rokh with my warr back on retail cata and planning now aswell :D
Reminder that back at the start of Shadowlands there was a toy that gave you either a full T3 appearance or a ToS set appearance when you used it and people who "earned" tier 3 aka sat in front of the BMAH sniping people while at gold cap, complained so much that Blizz changed the trinket to basically 9/10 just give you the ToS appearance and increased its cool down significantly
The fact people are still trying to gate keep Tier 3 armor is pathetic. No one who actually got a full set back in the day is probably still playing and the only people that have it are just gold cappers. Not spending millions upon millions of gold for some mid tier sets
you are pathetic for seething about T3 sets you're never gonna get
You don't need the party sync for the cache of salvaged goods, while leveling i just run cata dungeons and i tend to get it after every run.
in reguards to having to be on a toon of that armor class to add to the transmog list is going in war within.
I miss archeology, i had to much fun with it in BFA
Wow. I usually never have any items listed in these videos. But I actually do have a full set of Argus plate that I farmed when Legion was current.

The Tier 3 quest was a lot quicker for me since I still had the trinket to see the ghosts, the trinket to collect the stones and was exalted with them
The mantid archeology strat is what i did to grind for the raptor skeleton mount and innkeepers daughter hearthstone.
Haven't checked what my progress ended up being but I remember the cooking dailies fondly back in MoP for whatever reason I was super into them and stuck with them consistently..wonder how close I actually am to the apron lol

The fact I had The Glazer without even realising it was unique/rare is crazy. I can't believe I didn't think to sell it 😭
I’m surprised the Chromatic Sword is not on that list. Also how do I have the archeology sword but not the archeology mount despite actually farming for the later for hundreds of attempts and never trying for the sword
Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle from old Karazhan took me a long time to get. Only 1 in 3 chance the boss that drops it would be there each week.
Damn, I feel like a god for having Zin'rokh. I had no clue it was that rare.
queens court was so easy as mm hunter, i used to solo this raid for the mail mog. i heard they nerfed the queens court recently so anyone wanting to run it should be able to get past it for the zaq shoulders

With Old Naxxramas being possible to now access via that long method mentioned, does that mean the legendary Atiesh staff is now also obtainable again?
No, but with more things be readded( rethink sunken temple is next) it could be
Old Naxx is still not available.
So I got 'Master of the Ways' title and achieve in Pandaria back in the day. I think I got the apron but haven't seen it on my mog list?
for my understanding. create a twink and turn off xp then go to chromie and switch to any timeline and do party sync quest with a friend that both obtain the salvaged cache of goods? do i need to play a specific class to obtain the greatsword?

pendilum of doom only drops from the flamewaver troggs and they spawn like 5 per instance.
16:40 Zin’rokh also drops off Hakkar in ZulGurub (Classic /Vanilla)
you need a second part, It will take more that are difficult, but also the most needy and difficult to get, whether it is a drop rate like the Glorious Legplates and their tier set.
As well as that Blizzard should return to the old glories of bikini armors like Vanilla, and not a failed attempt that it is making now just in this expansion
can confirm i've been on and off farming zin'rokh for 2+ years and still nothing............. soul crushing ngl
