I absolutely love you. While I was in high school, I dressed similar to you. Even though I was bullied and threatened by kids around me. I wouldn't stop dressing the way I loved. Eventually I was forced to stop when my parents enrolled me in a private school. I then started dressing in my favorite clothes less and wore less makeup to the point where I didn't do it at all. Everyone around me thinks it was just a fad I went through and my mom hides all my old pictures. I've lost the confidence to wear all my corsets and platform heels. Most of my clothes I've given to charity. But when I watch your videos, I feel like I can dress like I did before and not care what people think. So thank you 😊❤️

I actually wore 6 inch heel boots to the mall once. It was my first time wearing them and I was in SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much pain after 30 minutes. I had to take sitting breaks once in awhile. Luckily I had an umbrella with me and I used it as my cane. There were a couple of times that I thought, "This is the end. My ankle is going to twist." Fortunately, my ankle didn't twist and I wore those 6 inch boots later on to go to the movies. It's like my mom always says, "La belleza cuesta." Which means- Beauty costs. 😊✌

My first apartment we lived next to a virtual psychotic. I was preggers with my oldest child and was still a newly wed and that whole summer the neighbor had been nice as pie until after my child was born and then we started getting the police called at all hours-but it was always during the hours that my husband was at work. We had a 19 in tv and a little boombox radio so there was no noise and my child didn't cry overly much-she was a newborn. Anyhow it got so horrible that she actually tried to have charges put against us claiming we were attacking her with Voodoo because she had fished a ripped chicken toy out of our trash and had said we had nailed it to her door. It was awful. I had never been privy to that kind of crazy.
So I have a serious question. In the last 35 years I'd never dressed goth but I've always loved gothic music and some of the most beautiful ladies I've ever seen are goth. Does that make me just a poser/wantabe or just someone who is goth friendly? I'd really everyone's opinion on this?

In my opinion you are goth in this case if you feel like it. If you have the knowledge and if you like it, then there is nothing "poser or wantabe" on it. I think the strong focus on appereance is not important and shallow.
Fashion isn't always what makes a Goth. It is what people notice first, and this is how they tell you are a Goth instantly, but when it comes down to it that's just "seeing on the outside" of people, not the inside. It takes more than all black clothing to make a Goth. In fact, if I ever see people only wearing the fashion, and refusing to ever take part in the knowledge or music of Goth itself, that is when I call them posers. You actually sound more Goth than most Goths I've met recently. If you love the music and enjoy learning about it, that's amazing, but you should never feel like you have to conform to the fashion just to be Goth :)
I feel really lucky to have seen Siouxie and the Banshees, The Cure, and much later Robert Smith live. The Robert Smith gig was at a tiny venue, we were like 8 feet away. Now I'm all about the day-to-day grind and Netflix. #LifeKickedMyAss

we lived above a noisy neighbour for years and it drove me quite mad, into depression in fact. however he started his parties at 11pm and finished them at 5am and all the while the music was so loud we could name the songs he was playing and the pictures rattled on the walls, that was every night without fail. bad neighbours can ruin a happy home and if all your neighbours have to worry about is a loud voice....? they should count themselves lucky! they wouldn't last a week above my old neighbour. one day they will move or you will and it will all be happy again so if it ever gets you down remember the saying "this too shall pass"
oh man I hope it's not broken, I rolled my ankle back in 2008 really badly and snapped it. That sucks so much I had a baseball on the side of my ankle within minutes. And the recovery took forever. I still have a piece of metal in it.
+Sarah Byrd that totally sounds like something I would do. I was stepping down from about a 12-inch ledge into uneven dirt, and rolled my ankle. It was in my mom's house in 2008. I was home for the summer from college and a tornado blew over the house and destroyed the home while I was in it. I walked out unscathed totally fine. And then broke my ankle 3 days later in the cleanup process. There's a video on my channel.
I was hit by a drunk driver 10 yrs ago, and they told me my leg & ankle were "pulverised". I have 3 metal rods, 14 screws, and many pins in my right side now. I have no ankle and use a wheelchair, so I know what you went through. I developed CRPS/RSD because of all the nerve damage, too. My right leg looks like Frankenstein's uglier cousin! My dancing days are long over...

+Sarah Byrd that totally sounds like something I would do. I was stepping down from about a 12-inch ledge into uneven dirt, and rolled my ankle. It was in my mom's house in 2008. I was home for the summer from college and a tornado blew over the house and destroyed the home while I was in it. I walked out unscathed totally fine. And then broke my ankle 3 days later in the cleanup process. There's a video on my channel.

I was hit by a drunk driver 10 yrs ago, and they told me my leg & ankle were "pulverised". I have 3 metal rods, 14 screws, and many pins in my right side now. I have no ankle and use a wheelchair, so I know what you went through. I developed CRPS/RSD because of all the nerve damage, too. My right leg looks like Frankenstein's uglier cousin! My dancing days are long over...

Jboo offivially not, but on friday and saturday evenibg everyone does that. especially in cities like cologne at "karneval".. so i guess even most cops would drink a beer in the train.
I drank vodka at 5 pm on a train with a friend of mine she was 17 and i was 18 which by german laws make her underage and the train guy didnt say a thing he just said is that vodka and i said yes then he asked if we areold enough so i said yes even thou my friend wasnt then he just checked our tickets said dont overdoo it and walked off lol

I can't stop watching your videos! My husband keeps asking me what I am laughing at. You are so lovely and engaging! I used to be a bit of a goth in my youth so I am enjoying it all and reminiscing too. Hope your ankle is okay. Oh the things we put ourselves through in the name of beauty. Reminds me of a pair of shoes my sister and I affectionately called the "bear traps" because they looked beautiful but they were excruciating by the end of the night they usually drew blood. We germans know very well about our potatoes. But the situation about potatoe salad is very difficult in germany. While the north is on the good side of life and they do their potatoe salad with mayonnaise too, the south has gone entirely mad. This sacrilege unholy breed ruin their potatoe salad with oil and vinegar, but this is not how you should do it. Never do this. This is sin and heresy!

+itsblackfriday Ouch! Ankles are the worst. I have been there, ankle sprains hurt like a.... bear. I rolled mine tripping down stairs. #keepingitclassy Rest, ice, compress and elevate. I had to wear a lace up ankle brace for a few months, but it really helped. I hope you feel better soon!
