That would take place in the 1870s if you remember Dutch and Hosea mentioned fighting for the Yankees during the American Civil war. Also their story would run concurrently with Red Harlow and Landon Ricketts . They could start with those two storylines. If they had introduced new story and gang in RDR2 it would have made sense but It just seems out of rhythm to introduce new story in a 3rd installment.
😢I want Red Harlow to be the protagonist of the 3rd, he only participated in the first one and after that he never came back
we've had mexico and america, now we need canada
Jack probably wouldn’t go into ww1 since he has beef with the military for killing his dad and would probably try to escape recruitment
Jack ended up moving to México and fight along with the Mexican Revolution..
Jack went to London and became and author. You can find his book in gta5, it's an Easter egg
@@williamweiland3195its also not canon to the story line, its just that, an Easter egg.
@@veil9326 But what if
@@CrimsonDarkclawbut what if nothing. If it ain’t canon, it’s nothing, gta and rdr aren’t in the same ‘universe’
I just need Jack's journeys to New York
Damn same to me
Liberty City you mean?
@@TheSundanceKidWatsondifferent universes
@@TheSundanceKidWatsonIn rdr2 you can find New York City and San Francisco cigarette cards, if it was in the gta universe it would be Liberty City and San Fierro
But franklin has a book called red dead written by J marston aka Jack, so technically they would be in the same universe?
RDR3 would be a metaverse, you are able to run your own shop and make profit in it.
10/10 would buy
Red dead 3 should be set further in the past
It would be about Gang’s years in Blackwater I think
I agree
How we need something new
It should be that, then we can get the blatant rip off of mafia definitive edition
@@BeachbaIICS it would be just a mafia rip off
They were in blackwater for as long as any chapter of the second game tho...
I'd love to see red dead become a series like GTA. Lots of games, nothing but quality, every iteration holds up as much as the last-or at least almost as much.
Both series takes 20 years for new game
@@aguuug5139it wasnt always like that for gta tbf
We need rdr3 to be dutch forming the gang at the start and then the end its like the black water massacre
Hear me out gold rush cowboy gang in the 1840-1850s making a living
RDR needs to have young Hosea as main character, during the Civil War
Not in the civil war but rather in the creation of the gang and his relationship with Bessie
@@mxlh_3134 sure. But I guess the civil war as a background would be cool. Basically not a game ABOUT the civil war. But a game WITHIN the civil war
Red dead 3 needs to go back in time not further cause then it would be a whole different game so either this, young dutch building the gang or a whole different story during the height of the old west
Or just after the civil war, when restless soldiers became outlaws.
@@agentsjk9632 yeah. But I wanted some mission like in The good, the bad and the ugly, where Hosea and his fellas are just trying to pass by some city and are caught in the middle of a conflict they just don't care about. And it would be fun to play some """spy""" missions like John does in the firts Red Dead, at Mexico
Imagine jack trys to recreate his own vander linde gang🤯
Marston gang
It would be world war
Think jack in the army would work better. Gangs didn’t exactly work well in the 1900’s.
@@jessepinkman8847 That would be cool to
@@jessepinkman8847So the peaky blinders is just a joke? Ofc they did, gangs were at their finest in the 1900s, especially during the liquor prohibition!
rdr3:young dutch, young hosea, and young artur
I don't care as long as I get to see Mexico again
If this were to work we’d have to play as one of the Callendar boys,(or both), since RDR protagonists all have to die in the end. The game could end with the blackwater massacre
Yeah, that would be a good idea, but then what would the epilogue be? We need a gap between games for an epilogue
@@legion4te epilogue would probably be arthur inbetween the couple days of the black water massacre and the events of rdr2, camp could be somewhere in the grizzlies but not far up as colter
@@SaariumDeta that sounds lame
@@SaariumDetaI was thinking Arthur but it's like new Vegas where are you are forced to not complete the game to be able to free roam endgame, the final mission could be like that and force you to make a hard save before you start it because the final mission just go straight to the credits
@@SaariumDeta before you end the game you get to free roam is Arthur and your camp remains but you get a frantic feeling because everyone is packing up and talking about what just happened, then, finally in the final mission your camp gets attacked while you try to escape
Un rdr dove sei un nativo americano e combatti con la tua tribù contro il governo e i fuori legge degli Stati Uniti
Peaky blinders 😂
I'm just saying that there are about 20 years of Arthur, Dutch, and Hosea that we haven't seen
Jack Marston in WW1 😎
We need more information about Lumbago 😂😂
i feel like we should know exactly what it is with how much uncle talks about it😭
It's lower back pain
Jack being a mobster in the 1930s would actually be a good Red Dead Redemption 3. Like they could have a story where he tried to avoid gang life but just like his father he's going to fall into it
Cant wait for them to expand to more towns and more options to the game
We need a young Dutch, Arthur, and John, while Hosea is like in His late 30s early 40s
It can be from start of van der Linda gang and end to black water robbery
But we can’t have RED DEAD REDEMPTION without any redemption
Jack in ww1 would go crazy
Rdr3 being about the rise of mobsters in the early 1900s would go hard ngl
Nah, I want another prequel. Free roam as Arthur, meet Davey and Mac Callander, Jenny Kirk, find out what happened in Blackwater. A Red Dead Redemption in a more future world would be disappointing considering how the first two are based on the Van Der Linde gang.
That would take place in the 1870s if you remember Dutch and Hosea mentioned fighting for the Yankees during the American Civil war. Also their story would run concurrently with Red Harlow and Landon Ricketts . They could start with those two storylines. They could split the stories up and you could play the start of the Van Der Linde gang and Red Harlow or Landon Ricketts stories .
The civil war took place in the 1860s and Dutch werent even 18 during that, it would make sense if it was hosea who went through the war.
Main game is the gang and have Landon and Harlow as dlc
Im prettry sure rdr3 will take place before rdr2 because we could experience how we robbed black water and the burned village near valentine and get to see or play as dead gang members like mack callander and davey
I honestly would like to either see jack go to chicago and join a gang mafia or him fight in ww1
We either need dutch and hosea forming the game, or a continuation of jacks arc
the first one doesn't have redemption and jack's arc is when the west is tamed
@@Dext3r0us 🤓☝️
imagine a game about Charles in Canada or Sadie in South America.
Sadie
@@alienationark yeah sadie you know sadie the girl rescued in chap1 that's sadie meet sadie
Rockstar games after like 7.6 hours after i die :
We need a trio of Dutch, Arthur, John and the gang's prime
I just remembered Arthur mentioned that John left the gang for a whole year and came back later they might show us what happened when he did that but I kinda hope it explores Arthur’s backstory more
Sadly the actor who played Arthur has confirmed Arthur’s story is done and has been told and rockstar won’t be doing anymore Arthur Morgan stuff in rdr3 sadly.
@@brentbuntin6019I doubt that was ever stated, and if so send me the link and proof, because Roger Clark and Rockstar are on good terms and Red dead isnt red dead without the Van Der Linde gang, so i cant see the next game not being about them
What we need is dutch raising morgan and john like brothers in a way to respect the first and second game. This or tie in red dead revolver somehow
RDR3 will be the back story of Van Der Linde gang
Imagine RDR3 takes place in a parallel universe where Arthur lives 🤯
The life of Saidie Adler as a BH
Rdr3 taking place in a mafia-like environment would be awesome, I’d be killing with the Chicago typewriter
it would be nice but I doubt rockstar would make a western into a mafia games besides they already have LA Noire.
@@freddyfuller-em6ddLA Noire was not a mafia game lol.
I want RDR3 to be about Pearson and the cut-throat way he carved his way into creating the first supermarket chains of the 20th century.
You could put Jack in WWI and have an introduction in France, fighting in the trenches and then move to a setting between urban and the wild west, and try to mix mafia with outlaws (which are more or less the same).
A prequel with Hosea as a protagonist would be awesome
Rdr3 Arthur’s father as the main character, with the epilogue being a young Arthur joining Hosea and Dutch
If there is a 3rd RDR (in my opinion) it should be about Sadie and her bounty hunter years in South America, or maybe a Mafia/Modern era, like mid 1950s.
We got gta for modern era
And we got L.A. Noire to work as a franchise for environments set in 40s-50s
Loooooook If anyone thinks a red dead game in 1920 is a good idea they are literally brain dead. Red dead is known as a old west game. And defacing it will piss everyone off.
It will be difficult to imagine that in 1920 they live during the First World War
@@zenito97I don’t know that that would be a terrible idea for a spin-off game though. Jack getting drafted and sent to Europe. Very different to rdr but I feel like a lot can be tweaked and translated to fit a wildly different environment.
Wdym it has been in the talks for a bit, it can still be based in somewhere before urbanisation starts happening around America so we can have a Wild West and city setting
Fr if it goes anymore into the future it just becomes gta

RDR3 should be Jack going to Chicago/New York to get rid of the mafia, indirectly becoming a cop and creating another family, he gets old and sees a grandson named Max Payne. 👀🔥🍿
It would make sense, if you consider max would be born in 1965 (considering he’s 47 by the time of max Payne 3 set in 2012) then Jack would be able to live long enough to meet Max, that would mean Jack was only 70 (easily old enough to act out the Irishman)
