@skinnybuddha74 I read Gunn had plans for Adam in the next movie but wasn't sure what he was going to do yet. But he still wanted to put him in as an Easter egg. Kinda like when they first showed The Infinity Gauntlet and had to make a scene in Ragnarok on it being fake.

When this movie came out, James Gunn gave everyone a link to download the soundtrack for free! I think it was on Facebook (I'm not sure). I still have the original file on my exterior hard drive. 🙃
When this movie was releasing there was no hope it will be a big hit but James Gunn made this movie at its best, it was a big hit from Marvel . This was one of best movies of mcu. Guardian of the galaxy trilogy which is directed by James Gunn is one best the best trilogy with Captain America trilogy. Just wait after one day you will see the Avengers and guardians together. Hey Amber, Sony Walkman was born in Japan then came to the U.S. in 1979. Just your basic cassette player with headphones, so popular, then in 1988, the CD was born and revolutionized listening to music with smaller headphones, then CD players came out for cars. Peter Quill aka Chris Pratt from the show Parks & Recreation and a host of films did a good job, Zoe is wonderful, I suggest the film Colombiana. Nice reaction. Welcome to the world of the Guardians. Yes, this movie has the best soundtrack :D. That was 10cc in the beginning with the Walkman. "I'm not in love." "I know who Jackson Pollock is." Then I suggest the film Pollock. Peter dropping the ball wasn't scripted. Ronin the Accuser is from The Hobbit films as the head Elf. Oh yeah, there's a 1986 film called Howard The Duck, it bombed at the box office lol. He lives on Duckworld, which at times, is a violent planet. That might be Cosmo The Space Dog with The Collector in the second credit scene. He's a telepath and the security chief of the space station/mining colony Knowhere and according to the comics, he's a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy but not here in the film.
😊 one of my favorite movies as a kid was the original Howard the Duck movie. I didn't realize when I was a kid that it was a Marvel comics property until this movie came out to be honest

Encase you didn’t know, vin diesel is the voice of groot. Karen Gillan is nebula, if you’ve seen the new jumanji movies, she’s in them but she rose to prominence in the UK as doctor who’s assistant.
This is going to be fun! And right up your alley! Yeah, the beginning is hard. I lost my dad to cancer too, when I was 15 and my mom to cancer 4 years ago when I was 55. It's never easy to lose a parent.
the Infinity Stone revealed here shows to the untrained masses (who never read the comics) just how dangerous they are, showed the infinite possibilites what they could be used for The tesseract and aether both yielded destruction of course but the degree from each was teeny-tiny compared to this stone I found it cool and scary at the same time to see it in action and was excited to see the rest of the 6 stones and what their functions were
7:25 "That is a southern alien" - Amber. Lots of planets have a south 🙂 (Doctor Who, season 1) If you knew Rocket's backstory, you would understand why he's so angry all the time. You will have to watch the rest of the MCU films to learn it though. The stuff in this film is original to Marvel, including the Guardians characters that originated in the comics. Once Disney bought Marvel, they could start using them in their theme parks, merchandise, etc.
I knew you were gonna love this movie because of the soundtrack specially. What an awesome reaction Amber, great to see you continue to enjoy doing what you do. With that hairstyle you reminded me of my favorite cousin growing up. Looking forward to your reaction on the other 2 Guardians of the Galaxy movies, all 3 are awesome but this has to be my favorite. Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy n the Avengers, those are my favorite comics movies, in that order
Howard the duck is the FIRST Marvel movie to ever come out.... back when VHS, cassette tapes, and Walkmans were a thing. There were no CDs at the time. The dog is from the Russians first attempts at exploring space with the goal of landing on the moon. As an experiment, they sent a dog into space before man...... and never worried about it coming back to Earth. The dog perished in space....... or so we thought. Enter, the Collector.
Well, not the first... but I would call it the first of that era. There was some really, really crappy 70s stuff that came out as well. Like a Captain America movie and a spider-man movie. This dog is actually Cosmo who appears in later Guardians stuff. Cosmo is based on the story of Laika though. The craziest older (actually after Howard the Duck) show was a Agents of SHIELD show that was set to star David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury. Do yourself a favor and go google him as nick fury. Cracks me up every time.
Ronan is played by Lee Pace (Who also played Legolas's dad in The Hobbit movies). ❤ Sony Walkman was the 80's MP3 and you recorded your own music, usually off the radio top 40 countdown. Making a mix tape for someone you liked was a cool thing 😂

A very good dog
You were confounded by the Walkman, how adorable. Trust me, it was a game changer when they came out.😊
the REAL gamechanger for me was the waterproof sports walkman, I used it while diving. ahh the good old days.
I remember buying my first walkman in an Army PBX. I miss those days.
@ omfg. mine was a gift from my lil bro after I hit corporal. Edit: prolly should mention I'm on the other side of your northern border.
It started the whole personal music box, then came the Ipod and so on.

Already know Amber's going to love The Guardians as soon as the intro music came on😅 also, 2nd best trilogy, possibly the best, in all the MCU (next to cap)
I swear your taste in music is awesome. I knew you would love this one. Great reaction!
Encase you didn’t know, vin diesel is the voice of groot.
Karen Gillan is nebula, if you’ve seen the new jumanji movies, she’s in them but she rose to prominence in the UK as doctor who’s assistant.
dont forget, bradley cooper is rocket.
@ it really is an all star cast.
Don't forget Bradley Cooper is Rocket.
She wasn't the Doctor's "assistant." She was his companion. That's what they're called.
@ it’s been a while since I watched it.
This is my favorite, too. Beautiful visuals, smart wit and the BEST soundtrack.
Guardians of the Galaxy might be my favorite marvel movie.
Favorite Marvel movie….and that isn’t easy to say. This was a masterpiece. Great reaction…the music was the icing on the cake.
I'm really enjoying reliving these films through your eyes.
The start to Vol.2 is my fav start to any film ever,by a mile :D Perfect song choice too,of course
The Sony Walkman was the peak of society. It’s gone downhill since. 🤣
This might be my favorite reaction to this movie, can't wait for you to see the rest!
Who else thinks this will be her favorite film until she watches "Thor Ragnarok"
Yeah, I think that will be the case.
Let’s not forget Ant-Man, which had a ton of humor as well.
Nah... Vol 2 is first. Then after that Ragnarok will be her fav.
Naked Strongest Avenger contest… coming up.
Yeah Ragnarok for sure.
This is going to be fun! And right up your alley! Yeah, the beginning is hard. I lost my dad to cancer too, when I was 15 and my mom to cancer 4 years ago when I was 55. It's never easy to lose a parent.
Did you notice how Ronin stomped Drax? Recognize Thanos said he'd bathe the stars in Ronin's blood.
First reaction video of the day for me. Coffee and Amber to wake me up and a smile start my day.. couldn’t be any better!
Love ya Amber! ✌️😉💕🌹
the Infinity Stone revealed here shows to the untrained masses (who never read the comics) just how dangerous they are, showed the infinite possibilites what they could be used for
The tesseract and aether both yielded destruction of course but the degree from each was teeny-tiny compared to this stone
I found it cool and scary at the same time to see it in action and was excited to see the rest of the 6 stones and what their functions were
Wonderful reaction
7:25 "That is a southern alien" - Amber.
Lots of planets have a south 🙂 (Doctor Who, season 1)
If you knew Rocket's backstory, you would understand why he's so angry all the time. You will have to watch the rest of the MCU films to learn it though.
The stuff in this film is original to Marvel, including the Guardians characters that originated in the comics. Once Disney bought Marvel, they could start using them in their theme parks, merchandise, etc.
Fantastic.
A good dog named Laika. I named my dog in her honor.
Thank you for your father’s service and the service of your family .. All due respect ….🇺🇸
Best soundtrack in the MCU!!
Ok now this Trilogy is also top tier 🎉 These guys are the best to ever do it ❤
Zoe might hate the paint and everything but then the checks clear the highest grossing films
Loved my walkman back in the 80s, recorded my songs onto tape from my records and took it everywhere.
You’re going to Love this Movie .. 🎥
Now you have been introduced to the Chris: Chris Evan, Chris Hensworth, and now Chris Pratt.❤
At least you spelt one of the Chris's right, Chris Pratt... but the others should be Evans & Hemsworth not, Evan & Hensworth. 😉
Oh cool, I am going to watch this now to see how many 80s songs you recognize in it 😊
