A little prep work goes a long way. At least sweep and dry the area first. Also less is more, less hardner will give you more work time, meaning it'll take longer to dry but you can smooth it out before it gets too hard. Also there's concrete prep to treat it with before painting and Bondo. If you're going to put in the effort to fix a spot go the extra mile and do it right so it'll stand the test of time and be right the first time meaning less material used meaning more Bondo for other cracks. Also for bigger chips and gaps there's Bondo with fiberglass which is alot stronger over larger areas
I did the exact same thing on the steps at my house. Thing I just used mortar mix (fast setting concrete). The big thing was to wire brush out all the loose pieces. This was probably a 50 year old concrete walk up too. The biggest thing is prepping an applying it. Then I had to get a 2nd bag and I learned from the first time that it seems simple but you need a sponge.
did that bondo stick? is it still there? im travelling to new york for the first time and my girlfriend nagging me to find something to see while were there. fred gall`s bondo job might be my best bet
Did he ever fix it..... Who knows.... Legend says it worked some people just say it peeled up again and he got fucked. Who knows..... Except for the people that do.
i herd that crack is unfixable. many have tried all have failed. ...they say after that day he started to ride a scooter and could never land a shove it again cus of the curse put on him by tampering with the unfixable crack......illuminati confirmed?
I love this Jenkem shit. I stopped skating seriously in 2004 due to many different life changes. Now at 33 years old, I'm itching to get back into it (even had some skating dreams before I've woken up lately). I think it may be time to go and buy a board.......
I'm assuming locktite would work well, it's a paver adhesive and would be much easier to put on you don't have to mix anything. Haha bondo seems so dumb!
