      @@LZeng-yd7us well, Rome is still Italy, lol. Anyway, this country has 20 regions and in each one of them people speak Italian as well has a local dialect that sometimes is quite similar to Italian, sometimes is a whole other language. Roman dialect is one of the most understandable ones, very similar to Italian.

      @@DolceVitaChannel Thank you for the explanation! I heard about that the Neapolitan dialect is the most difficult to understand.

      @DolceVitaChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LZeng-yd7us It's very tough for central-northern Italians to understand Neapolitan but I believe Sardinian is the toughest, impossible to understand for the rest of the country😉

    Omg! I L❤️Ve This! I have been learning Italian by enjoying the music of Vasco for 10 years now and using Duolingo for about 5. Vasco’s songs are very poetic and even with translation are ripe for your interpretation. I notice also comparatively his speaking in interviews is at a pace that one day my listening comprehension will grow enough to comprehend. But for now, I read quite well, sing pretty good in Italian and have mad google translator skills!

      wow, interesting you knew Vasco Rossi, though he's a legend here in Italy he's pretty unknown abroad. Where you from? Glad you liked the song and the video, you're right, his lyrics are very poetic🤩

    Hi! Ciao! I am new to learning italian and I've come across your youtube channel which has helped me a lot.
    There was one thing which I couldn't understand. It's when two words are used to form one word. For example, how = come and much = tanto but how much = quanto
    Is there a special rule for these kinds of words?

    • @DolceVitaChannel
      @DolceVitaChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ciao, glad you like the channel! As for your question, you shouldn't think in English. I speak English to help people understand but the languages can't be literally translated from one another. That goes for all languages.😉
