Loving this series- we are heading to DR for first time this coming March- you’ve helped us decide on SCC- looks amazing. At the top of our budget but getting direct flights. To answer Kevs Q- yes we did a couples hydrotherapy and massages at Barcelo Riviera Maya, Mexico- Loved It- definitely booking the spa again. Barcelo was a beautiful resort with excellent service. Will be watching your other videos- great mix of video/pics and information- thanks for sharing!
I think this is the 3rd time we’ve done that, and I love it! Sometimes we have early flights (like 11am) and obviously that doesn’t work. But when we go home later in the day a massage before leaving is heaven 😊
I watched this entire vacation series and it looks amazing! My husband and I stayed there July of 2020 for our honeymoon but most of the things in your videos were not available to us due to covid. Even things like the beach bar was completely closed. Some of the restaurants were completely closed as well. No one on the beach to sing with live music or cut open coconuts or make jewlery, I could go on. Makes me want to go back so we can have a better experience with all the things that are now open and available. Thanks for the videos ; )
I feel your pain, we travelled all many times 2020, and the resorts were definitely not fully open, but i did love the extremely low occupancy numbers 😊 Give it another go!

Thank you! That property isn’t on my short list, but I may see it eventually - but I definitely won’t be there before January (unless Hyatt brings me out there)! My travel is currently already planned into August 2023 😊

I don't! I have been asked for this a lot, so I may try to make one eventually. I don't know how to make it an interesting video to watch. I can tell you it does end with me sitting on them to get them to close! They are packed to the brim :)
My wife and I have been to 14 different Secrets and we still say SCC is our favorite! Love watching your videos. It takes us back to our happy places!

I also love the idea of hydrotherapy and a treatment on the day you are leaving! genius! you looked so relaxed and ready for the travel home.

I loved the spa area at Secrets Akumal. This Secrets spa circuit area looks larger but not as good. Have to see it in person I guess !?

Unfortunately scc took a real battering from hurricane fiona. I believe everyone was evacuated and not returning till Friday
