I don't agree with the EGW quotes, "A true christian will not desire to enter any place of amusement," or "He will not unite with the gay waltzes?" Doesn't Ecclesiastes 3:4 tell us that there is a time to dance? If there is a time to dance, why can't I find amusement dancing a waltz? I feel like Ellen missed the verse in Ecclesiastes where it says don't be too righteous. You can dance in the name of Jesus. Didn't David rip his clothes off and dance with all his might before the Lord in the streets before all of Israel when they brought back the ark of the covenant? David, according to scripture, had the heart of God. I honestly wouldn't mind if God came down and saw me dancing, or playing catch with my nephew, or bowling with my friends. I think having an escape from the hardships of life is important and there is more to life than reading scripture and working in the field. You have to have fun. Otherwise, what's the point?

In Both verses the word "day" is italicized meaning it is not in the original manuscripts but added by the translators. The word "Week" is Sabbaton(Sabbath ) in the greek. Therefore the Verse should be translated " On the first of Weeks" . This is referring to the Feast of Weeks in Leviticus 23. It is the counting of seven weeks starting on the first Sabbath after Passover to determine when the feast of Shavuot occurs. 7 x 7=49 + 1 day is Pentecost. These verses hav nothing to do with Sunday worship. Also look at the surrounding verses for context

I don't agree with the EGW quotes, "A true christian will not desire to enter any place of amusement," or "He will not unite with the gay waltzes?" Doesn't Ecclesiastes 3:4 tell us that there is a time to dance? If there is a time to dance, why can't I find amusement dancing a waltz? I feel like Ellen missed the verse in Ecclesiastes where it says don't be too righteous. You can dance in the name of Jesus. Didn't David rip his clothes off and dance with all his might before the Lord in the streets before all of Israel when they brought back the ark of the covenant? David, according to scripture, had the heart of God. I honestly wouldn't mind if God came down and saw me dancing, or playing catch with my nephew, or bowling with my friends. I think having an escape from the hardships of life is important and there is more to life than reading scripture and working in the field. You have to have fun. Otherwise, what's the point?
I don't think, that Ellen White intended to prohibit all fun, but that she spoke against worldly forms of amusement and dancing, which satisfy the flesh and do not glorify God.

In Both Acts 20:7 and 1 Cor 16:2 the sunday worshipers use these to claim the disciples worshiped on Sunday." On the first day of the week...." In Both verses the word "day" is italicized meaning it is not in the original manuscripts but added by the translators. The word "Week" is Sabbaton(Sabbath ) in the greek. Therefore the Verse should be translated " On the first of Weeks" . This is referring to the Feast of Weeks in Leviticus 23. It is the counting of seven weeks starting on the first Sabbath after Passover to determine when the feast of Shavuot occurs. 7 x 7=49 + 1 day is Pentecost. These verses hav nothing to do with Sunday worship. Also look at the surrounding verses for context
Even if Acts 20:7 meant Sunday, it wouldn't change the Sabbath. According to Acts 2:46, breaking bread was their daily habit, not only on Sunday.

Sometimes, TH-cam puts ads in videos without the TH-camr's approval, and all the momey goes to TH-cam, not the TH-camr.
