I've switched up my routine a bit in order to save me time while still ensuring that my natural hair remains healthy and retains length. sectioning went out the window for me a looong time ago, it just feels v unecessary and extra atp 😂
I feel like it breaks my hair - washing it all at once has been so much faster and easier, easier to section after the fact to moisturize and whatnot
nope, not necessary for me anymore since I wash more frequently
I use to wash in four sections but now I just do two. Like the comment above, keeping my hair moisturized and stretched while washing more frequently cut down detangling for me.
I do but only in 3 sections. If I don't, it'll be a matted mess 🥴

Your hair is so shiny after you blow dry. I feel my hair gets brittle during blow dry. Once I put some serum on it, it comes back to life.

these braids are giving Issa Rae lol! So I have a question (for Naakie or anyone who might have an answer) but every time i go do my hair (regular wash, deep conditioner and protective hairstyle like twists) I end up finding scars on my scalp. Is that because it’s particularly dry? Or could it be the products being used in my hair?
I keep finding them too and I wear two strand twists.
You may be scratching in your sleep from products itching your scalp
