I love how there's plenty of gameplay footage of the new map from people that don't even play 2042 anymore unless it's getting some attention.

@@artorias6813 when they first started developing the game it started out as a full on BR Battlefield and they went and added specialists, they decided to turn it into a so called normal Battlefield that is 2042. No matter how many updates they add to this game it will never be Battlefield except in name only. They pretty much abandoned the "love letter to the fans" Portal mode which could have actually been proper remastered/remade older BF games, if they added more older maps etc but that part of 2042 they pretty much took a shit on it and kicked off a cliff ages ago.
2042 updates do nothing to make it more Battlefield, even the half assed class system. I just play 4, 1 and V and uninstalled 2042 a while ago. I check back every now and then to see what's happening but seems it just doesn't get any better. Going back and playing the older BF games makes me realise just how far from the tree 2042 is and how much of an abomination it is to the Battlefield name.
If the next Battlefield isn't the best Battlefield ever made the franchise is done, and if specialists stay this alone will permanently bury the franchise.
I have no faith anymore in the next BF game especially with recent news, as a BF player since 1942 i hope I'm wrong and it turns out to be the best ever, but there is no hype and no trust.
Obviously this is just my opinion on things :)
Ngl, I am highly impressed with how dice is handling the headshot multiplier issue. The fact that they heard/realized the 1.9x would still 2 shot and changed it BEFORE releasing the season is something that old dice would have done.
Also the anti tank mine “nerf” is really a buff. I kill myself so often by running up and throwing a mine which activates instantly, but now I’ll have enough time to throw 2 and get the tank kill even if I die from the second one 😂
Some credit where it’s due. I seriously respect your honesty in your opinions. It’s a breath of fresh air to hear a TH-camr not pull any punches yet still give praise when it’s deserved. You’re one of the real ones out there
If you're not very good at the game and wish to do things like @Enders, start by marking/spoting the enemies like he does. You'll still be bad, but at least your team mates can kill those you couldn't more easily. Thanks! :D
The visual recoil changes actually looks good. Excited to see how it feels. It can have a lot of impact on how fun it is to shoot.

The scope glint fix is welcome. Long range trying to beam people and the glint lies was annoying.

Enders you should make a video comparing the best 5 unique features from each BF
Only unique thing about 2042 is all the features they left out. Scoreboard, cover on maps, squad management, voice, server browser and map rotation, 6 month's of adding a first season, proper netcode and last but not least testing.
Dice did great things this update and it’ll shake up the meta for damn sure, but when will vault pistols get sights, I just want to use my 1911 without shat iron sights
Fortunately its' sights are a lot better than some of the primary weapon irons in this game.
I wish they gave us more content at least 5-6 new weapons and 3 maps seeing they had an additional almost 2 months that they dragged out Season 6. Seeing one of the maps was a section taken out of a previous map and they just redid it with more destruction assets, they could have added another brand new small scale map in there. If they did that, that would've made the season a finally good one out of all the others.
While the other changes that were made as we mentioned is good, the lack of content is still mind baffling, whether it be a skeleton crew or not, they already delayed on map and weapon alongside a vehicles to update 7.2
At this point why don't they just make the tanks indestructible and remove all bombs and rocket launchers? The vehicles players are still going to bitch and moan until it happens and the devs just keep giving them whatever they want because their 100-0 games aren't nearly as frequent as they once were.

I think delaying the vehicle and a weapon for a further update sucks, its one of the main things youd expect eith this new season thing they're going with, i would be happy if it were 2 vehicles or 2 weapons but cant have it all
One of the only ways to get at tank campers is to annoy them so much with the drones emp they semi give up. Rly stupid to get rid of that

I really really don't understand why they removed the EMP on Casper's drone instead of just prohibiting it from targeting vehicles. How the hell i am supposed to destroy ridiculously hidden shoot-down sentinels or spawn beacons? This was one of the only counter plays to campers like that. Also killing other casper drones like a mini dogfight was fantastic and now that's gone too. Very disappointed unless I'm not understanding this change correctly.
Many i missed it but no nerf to the goddamn riot shield? The fact that you can switch from your shield to your shotgun, fire it and kill the person infront of you in like half a second is insanity, its so cheap and broken, switching to/from your shield should take atleast 1,5-2 seconds imo.

The devs have clarified on that it will be going into the Jet catagory but will have it's own "Ticket" which means if the F-35 and Su-57 are all used up people can still pull out the Draugr making a total of 2-4 jets on one team since the Draugr will only have 1 ticket on certain maps but on others it might have 2 which will make it total of 4 jets in those maps (2 Fighters and 2 Attack Drones). Also the Draugr will not have AA capabilities it is completely designed for ground strike operations. But there might be a possibility that dice could remove the AGM's from the F-35 and Su-57 just to put them more in line to AA roles instead of AA/AG Roles later down the line.

it’s just that little system that limits how many vehicles of a certain category can be deployed.
Let’s take the regular infantry vehicles like the LATV-4 Recon, LCAA Hovercraft, and the YUV-2 Pondhawk. Maps that I remember playing on can hold up to 4 of those vehicles at a time in use. Let’s say 2 pick a Recon, 1 picks the hovercraft, and 1 picks the pondhawk. That’s [4/4] (four tickets out of four tickets) selected and currently in use. It’s full, and no more can be deployed across the battlefield in that category until they’re destroyed or no longer in use, then another one can be spawned.
Alright, let’s say we’re Russian, and most maps I remember allow up to 3 fixed wing aircraft (planes) to be used at once on each team. So 3 people get into the Sukhoi Su-57 Felon, [it’s 3/3] vehicles in the match, it’s full. No more can be deployed until one is destroyed or no longer in use, just like all other vehicle categories.
The new DRAUGR ground strike drone will be a part of that category in the plane section, but it won’t be part of that [3/3] system. So, if 3 people are currently in the Su-57, the Draugr can still be deployed because it’s got its own separate ticket system other than the [3/3] system like the Su-57’s. It has its own, I’m guessing it’ll be [1/1] and [2/2] depending on the map sizes.

It's ridiculous that while I'm shooting a sniper 3,5,6,7 times, and they can aim and kill with one shot. They need to be bounced around as they get hit to make it harder to aim for fairness.

I'm totally new here, but can please someone expplain to me why Battlefiled worth to play ? No ranked, no clan wars, no 6v6.
They’ve really nerfed snipers/recon into the ground. Took away the 1 shot body shot, nerfed secondaries into the ground, but then people complain why we sitting in the back? Every avenue we had to be aggressive has been taken away…
Not to mention weve barely gotten new bolt action rifles I mean dang I might as well go back to bf4…because don’t see myself coming back to this game.

Hi Enders, first thank you for your excellent channel. Perhaps because I am a Brit, we are a pretty snarky lot, I really enjoy your acerbic take on things. I'm someone who watches games on YT but doesn't play them (weird) and one thing that I don't see discussed much is how boring, somehow un-involving, B2042 content tends to be relative to most other games, including other Battlefield titles. There's something about this game that means you don't feel like you are "there" when watching. Good contrasts are Battlefield 1 and Hell Let Loose, but pretty well every other comparable game is better at this. I appreciate that these games are made to be played, not watched, and games like Apax Legends and Fortnite are/were both wildly successful and similarly un-involving, but I do feel it was a notable departure for the Battlefield series which until B2042 was always exciting to watch back
I agree that these changes are good and totally needed but...i refuse to give any props to dice. I'm sorry but they needed 7 seasons and 2 and a half years to realise that vehicles and the headshot multiplier needed some balancing?? What's next? Some Tiger-Sherman balancing for bfv? Anyone else hating 3 headshots for a kill? I personally feel that if you have good headshot aim, it effectively nerfs you and once again lowers the skill ceiling and the amount of kills you get.
Eh, if I remember correctly I think the headshot multipliers were even lower for AR’s in previous Battlefield games. Might be annoying but so is dying in 50ms to an SFAR lmao

They should have nerfed lis atleast now that they are gonna add sraw which take more skill than a portable tv missile and can carry 3 c5 alongside it.
Got to love dice and ea. Hype up two new maps and when it's time to show up it's literally one map. A stadium that has been overplayed already. Yes it is good but it's not new. Then bring old guns in to make it seem like you are getting something new. The fact is they don't have a clue what's going on with their game. There is no lore no rhythm or reason for the maps. I'm so glad assault only gets 2 c-5 I can't tell you how annoying it is to have someone grapple you and then you are helpless unless your team stops him or u risk getting out to kill him

I went through the BFV 5.2 ttk change and i didn't like it. That being said, this weapon adjustment is not the same and i would say BF2042 really needs this change.

We need class layouts like older BF games.
Primary, Secondary, Class item(Med kit, Ammo Kit, Revive tool, AT Launcher, etc), Grenades, then Gadget, be it a spawn beacon, a machinegun drone, C4, an armor kit, a Deployable Sonar Device and so on.

unrelated, but if you twitch users wanna get rid of a rat in the BF streaming community, go report "CadusimsReprises" and their 5 or 6 different twitch accounts. dudes got 5+ accounts all viewbotting hard af, and all but one stream are just reruns of BF1,BFV etc. 150-200 viewers each stream, 30+ hours a stream, on like 6 different BF games. shits a disgrace and insult to people who actually put in the work....like @EndersFPS
