In this video I decide to analyse the hidden story/lore of Sir Pelo's 'Spooky Month Series.' I would love if anyone could give me pointers on anything I missed but I overall I hope you enjoy the video. Oh also check out the videos yourself because they are very well made:

I don't think that lila works in digital arts, but more like an architect, and the sticky note was probably a joke about how it takes a really long time to animate spooky month animations.
Which is because of how much care, passion, and effort is put into each one.
Yeah this. Even though spooky before Christmas is the norm now, Pelo wanted to release the episode that contained the note during October.

Yeah, she's an architect. In episode 4 (Deadly Smiles) you can see her drawing blueprints and carrying a blueprint holder, along with other architect drawing tools that I don't remember atm. That sticky note, knowing Pelo and the fact that Spooky Month has historically been late to Halloween except for the first episode, is actually a joke. Likely referring to an animator (either Pelo himself or another) that doesn't always finish animations on time.

the theory about the father protecting his family is pretty solid, considering theres even a scene where the happy fella is threatening his family the manequinn then withouth being moved falls onto happy fella.
Thats actually a good theory, i just assumed he just either died from the events of the chaos or he just went out to get the cigarattes

And when Bob is searching for Lila in the attic and turns his back to chase her we see the mannequin is standing right in front of Bob like it's trying to stop him. Then Bob throws it so angrily almost like the mannequin is someone he hates 🤨
I like the theory, I think that Lila only found out about her late husband being in the cult, and that the husband is watching over them possessing the mannequin and protecting his family from the villains of the episode I was literally thinking the same thing before you got to that topic!
also bob or this red devil is also in cult and reason why bob pushed the mannequin is because he is hearing him probably and the mannequin said pls don’t kill my kids and wife pls and bob pushed him saying no but it’s just a theory

I think that sticky note is just a joke that jabs a Pelo himself. It's shown that Lila has a job in architecture.

this could also explain why the mannequin fell on the happy fella in episode 4 and why it kind of tried to trick Bob Velseb in episode 5
when bob pushed the mannequin aside, it broke in pieces. but in episode 6, you can see that it is fine and in one piece.
Cool Fact : Dexter actually is the happy fella doll, we can know this because of a qr code in one episode that sends us to a image of a bunch of papers writen by the happy fella, and he sayed to skid get a cat to kill it.

Oh yeah and in the end credits of the Happy Fella episode, when the Happy Fella's VA shows up, it says (Dexter) right next to Happy Fella's name
Other way i can confirm this, is by seeing dexter eyes and haply fella eyes, they are the same, just without the green color

Great analysis video for Spooky month lore! I’m excited for whenever part two comes out! Also I didn’t realize until I watch your video that the mannequin in Lila’s attic moved; so I definitely believe your theory that most likely Skid’s dad is possessing that mannequin and watching over his family.
Also quick theory(small spoilers for Spooky Month Tender Treats):
What if since Roy’s uncle was at that mansion that the police is investigating in is owned by Roy’s family? We seen that his parents are wealthy with their clothing, driving a limo, and attitudes towards Roy not being presentable and being around his friends. So I think it’s possible that either Roy’s parents owned that mansion(also affiliated with the cult) and lets his uncle live there or his uncle is also rich like his brother and has the cult there as their main base of operations.

its also important to note that in "The Stars" when skid and pump get caught by the eyes, we can see a picture of a man with golden rings in the background, and if we go all the way to the end of the very first episode we can see a picture of Lila with a man, wearing a golden ring in one of its fingers, connecting Lila even more with the cult
Edit: nvm it was actually a poorly drawn golden watch, theres a remastered version of the picture in "Deadly Smiles"
13:37 the post-it note is actually referencing how the animation was released in November instead of its intended release date, which is on Halloween

Thank you for making an analysis video for spooky month! I really needed one of these because I’m not big brain enough to theorize myself.
There is a photo of Father's Day drawn by sir Pelo on Twitter where Skid and Lila visits the grave of Skids dad.
It is possible that they both still care for him and probably he might have died before the events of spooky month (since most of the episodes feature Lila and her son).
I also like the concept of the manequinn who happens to be the ghost of the dad as a reminder that he's always watching over his family.
I think the person who crossed out the name of the dad is possibly him before he is kinda converted in the cult (since both Lila and skid visits the grave and both are open about his death)
The great man could possibly be a reference to the dad, since a great man can be a man of power, which is usually considered a dad. same for the power thing, it could also be related to the cult, since ofc they want power.
fun fact: in 15:53 if you look in the shelf there is the headless horseman from tf2 with his axe!

the fact you said that pump has blue eyes ONLY when in presence of a demon, reminded me of when the serial killer from episode 5 *HAD* blue eyes when trying to kill everyone in the car... so skid is a demon... that actually sent a shiver down my spine

I head someone make a theory that the reason Skid's eyes aren't blue in presence of demons may be because his dad may have been in a cult and he's desensitized to them now
Just a small correction, the figure behind Skid and Lila in the painting in Ep. 1 is the Ooga Booga lady, we can tell by the dress and the eye color
Honestly I think the mannequin is possessed by the dad as it seems it only moves when something bad is about to happen to the family and since it protected the mom and the kids from the doll
I never knew about the real ending things, they're like cool little cutscenes in a game

I think the reason why skids dad is dead is bc he gave the devil guy the necklace for everything he done after all he worked as a grill and boys employee you can say that because on the newspaper seems to come back and at the same time you can see the place where Bob worked is back. As for the reason he kills to eat people is bc he possessed by the demon skid and pump summoned what other reason he came to skids mom first as at the first episode of spooky month he has gone mad after his work place shut down. My theory:

We know the 2 boys were sent to the “cult house” or the “haunted house” by Roy, and was taken away by The Eyes almost as soon as they entered. The Eyes has to do something with the cult if the cult’s area is basically there, and how in the real ending of episode 2 it shows The Eyes’ tentacles all around the house when Jack and John were taking Fat theif and Thin theif. Skid’s dad (name theorized to be Atticus) is now possibly known to be the leader of the cult. Atticus must have done some special protection thing on his son (Skid) for nothing to happen to him when Skid and Pump where taken by The Eyes.
If anybody else has any other theories on this, please reply to me and tell me. Im posing this on all 3 parts.

At 17:00 you can still see the two distinct stars that represent the eyes of the universe watching over them. This is either just an animation error, or it could mean something more

I know I'm late but I had a theory that bob is the husband, or once a close friend. Because at the last episode bob worked at boys and grills in a picture book. Lila seemed to be conflicted meaning there was a close connection as she starts shutting down say no no it can't be, after her son said oh you played hide n seek with him too.
my theory Is that the reason why it changed from a wasp to a cat is because the ritual that Dexter is trying to do requires a mammal instead of an insect
I think Skids dad was part of the cult and that’s why there are cult robes and it might explain why the face and name is crossed out and why Lila ripped the advertisement for the cult in the book.
I'm new so many someone thought this already but I always thought that:
- Lila and husband were a part of the cult but when they had skip (?) They tried to get away and only Lila and skip survived that situation.
- (this one going off of just reaching and general cult works) or even the husband was a part of the cult and had a child with Lila to create a demon baby and Lila finding out ran not knowing that he may had succeeded.
- because skip was born during the whole cult Era for them maybe he doesn't need the whole blow eyes to see demons as he was born already able to see them
- the whole saying "Spooky month" def has to be a spell or something

in the real ending with the clown getting shot, the clown says the same thing as the translated version on the newspaper QR code in spooky month:3

We know what the cult is. Now the question is how it ties into Skid’s family. (Well, the biggest question at the moment.)
Teaser for the next episode was uploaded so I'm rewatching this for a check up on the lore.
I like to believe that skid and pump aren’t in costumes and they just look like that
I've come to the conclusion that the father got murdered by the spider in the attic sense you see a monstrous spider hidden right above his skull in episode 1.
In the molok's episode we see a spider crawling between floors while molok hits the floor. In the happy fella's episode, we see the spider in the rooft but big. I notice that and I eanted to say it lol
Spooky Month was not supposed to be a series, but it ended up having more episodes, There will even be a new Spook Month, called SPOOK MONTH:HOLLOW SORROWS
The eyes of the universe says “Always look at the stars”
In every episode now there are what looks like eyes or 9:35 in the sky (during night)

in the second episode on pelos channel there’s a comment saying: “why skids eyes wouldn’t go blue is because he would have become sans.” and pelo dislikes anything referencing sans so that’s probably why.

Well actually the clown was wanted. If you pay close attention in episode 1, the is a wanted poster that had the clown on it and it was torn apart, most likely because the clown didn't want to be caught. So the clown wasn't innocent.

why is nobod ytalking about the fact that in one of the scenes where lila is peeking behind the corner peering at something the painting next to her depicts her to do that EXACT SAME THING?!
