Torque drift 1 is a great game. If you play the game you can earn paid cars and mods. Majority of the cars I have in that game are premium, and I've spent absolutely no money on that game. Just playing and getting crates gets you cars that you can buy for 10-15 bucks
Only good thing that'll come out of the Formula Drift / Torque Drift partnership is if this map leads to a port, the original has a 1200 player peak on Steam with like 500 average daily players, meanwhile CarX peaked over 5000 and regularly hits 24h peaks of over 4000 players... The mobil game was ok the crates used to be decent in a way of getting Pro cars but they have made the change to only rent them out for a certain time after getting it though crates

PSST, you dont need VSYNC to get rid of tearing, just limit the max FPS to whatever your monitor is. Or, if your not hitting those framerates, limit it so 1/2 or "60" like most Vsync options does.

Rookie numbers when you consider games like Asphalt 9 make you purchase cars for hundreds, if not thousands of pounds. But still, a shame to see Torque Drift lean into NFTs at all.
A9 still had things like progressions, fun gameplay. Even though it was quite p2w and a grindfest. Which are acceptable. But Torque Drift 2? Nah thats just straight up nothingness.
I prefer asphalt 9 for the fact that you can either grind to obtain cars or pay up which makes it more gacha like where a torque drift is trying to force the nft down your throat
You have to really grind to get stuff in that game. I didn't like it because the gameplay and handling were so goofy and unrealistic. You could just do like triple 360's and 720's spinning through the air. And the drifting sucked so fake. It was 100% a mobile game. Also there was no open world and very few maps and courses.

Torque drift 1 is more fun I'd say....i got a 4rotor big turbo ps13 with close to 1000hp ...and the tuning side of it is mad and and detailed to the stiffness of the roll bar and even the tuning of the angle kit 😮
The least disgusting thing about the monitisation is that they at least say how much you are paying and what you are paying for. I hate sub currencies that are just there to confuse players about how much money they are actually spending. I always calculate in my mind but most people don't and I think that's just wild.
