- We've made our way up to the beautiful hill station town of Kodaikanal here at 2200m altitude in the Indian mountains.
Let me tell you this place is absolutely incredible.
We kicked off the day with some chai in the freezing cold weather before checking out some of the most gorgeous mountain views in all of India.
Had to throw in a quick hotel tour after that because we splurged on a lovely suite room with again stunning views into the valleys.
Kodaikanal is also known for producing excellent cheese, chocolate and eucalyptus oil so we went and bought all those things!
The rest of the day we pretty much chilled out, enjoyed the peaceful vibes and ate loads of delicious food including south indian classics, jam buttys, tibetan momos and north Indian food all while consuming far too many cups of chai inbetween to keep ourselves warm.
I now see why they call Kodaikanal princess of the hill stations.

Hello Ellis and Alicia. This area looks well worth braving the cold for. Beautiful views before the clouds came in, so good even those dogs were admiring it. Locals are so helpful and the food looked so fresh and tasty. You both know how to explore a country. People say they've visited a place, you actually live in it. The best honest viewing. Thanks.

Anyone who has studied Geography will know the diversity of the landscapes in India.I have also seen this view in Kolukumalai Tea Estate in Kerala.You must also visit the hill stations in the Himalayas too.

As a Tamilan, I really wanna congratulate u to have such a nice experience out there. I went to kodaikanal during the may month, and I didn't plan my trip properly, I stayed at a crap resort and got poisoned(food poisoned). During that time, the governor was up there so they closed the roads and blocked entry to a few places, I wish he could've used the helicopter. Thanks to him, I got my trip ruined. One of the horrible experience I have ever had. But if u plan it properly and visit during the perfect time. I am pretty sure you would end up with a nice experience just like how u had..

Most of them don't understand Hindu, you can use the specific state's official language or English to communicate. Tip: DO NOT VISIT Cities - Pollution. Go to places like Munnar, Kodaikanal, Ooty, Kethhedy.. If you are planning to go on a religious trip you have Tanjavur, Madurai for Hindu temples and Mosques and Chennai for most popular Churches.. All the best for your 12th.. What group have you chosen?

At 1:06:10 opposite to you guys there is a shop named Aavin junction written in blue board. Thats a Tamilnadu government shop for milk products you can find it all over tamilnadu. They have ghees, sweets and etc. you can try a sweet called paal khoa(Milk khoa) there. I think it is available in 2 colours white and brown in various quantity box like 100 grams, 250 gms. I like to eat brown one when I was a kid.

I have stayed in that hotel in the balcony room 2 years back. Excellent view especially at night... It will look like diamonds sparkling to view the lights down the valley...

Include Thanjai Periya Kovil (1000+ years old Chozha dynasty temple) and Kallanai which is a dam built by early chozhas, it's 2000+ years old and still in service..

Visit kerala state near by Tamilnadu state in kerala visit munnar you will definitely going to crazy and also Fort kochi you can see the western architecture and in Alappuzha experience house boat backwaters .in Trivandrum ponmudi it is another heaven .have a safe and happy trip..😍 Don't touch the all street Dogs it will be dangerous sometimes ..you can find toilet in hotels and petrol stations as well when you go for food use toilets in the hotel as well. it will be difficult to find public toilets

Oh yes, India is vast. With temperate climate to deserts to some of the coldest inhabited places in the world. We have the highest motarable road in the world( elevation 18000 feet plus). Nice to see you exploring the terrain….

There is another place near Kodaikanal called Manavanoor. A bit isolated and no internet. I found litters there as well.
