That's one of the things she always loved about him, he didn't ever go out of his way to try to impress her. Chuck was always true to himself, no matter what. That's far too uncommon in real life, unfortunately. It's also why she's taken aback with his response to her prenup in season 4. She clearly wasn't expecting his "groovy new attitude" (as Casey put it), about the situation.
The irony is, though, that, in a way, Chuck's red test is actually what got them together, finally. Since as far as the CIA knew, he killed the mole, it broke down the handler/asset facade that Sarah had been hiding behind. And finding out he hadn't, coupled with Chuck risking his own life to save Shaw, made her realize what she had nearly lost. Plus, it's pretty obvious that Sarah liked hearing Chuck actually say that he loves her, even though she already knew. She attempted to goad him into saying it several times before: during their "first real date" ("What about me?"), in 2x14 when she tells him she doesn't have anyone in her life who cares about her, and I still think even her comment about having "a type" was another instance (Chuck and Bryce weren't really that different)
She dumped Chuck for Shaw. She told her real name "Sam" to Shaw but not to Chuck. She also tried to keep some secrets in the Child's episode. Still she is good. sensible, loyal! NO
I don't know if Sam is her real name, even her mother called her Sarah in season 5. She loved Chuck since day one and fell in love again in the end of the series. That's why she wanted to hear their story and that long kiss from Chuck, all in the beach where their story almost started.
This is for all the people that complain about the season 3 writing. Sarah deeply loved Chuck but thought she would lose him for good with Chuck’s red test. Sarah’s own red test painfully changed her. She was racked with shame and guilt. She did not want to see the same thing happen to Chuck. In a previous scene, Sarah decided to leave Chuck. She told Chuck her reasons why. About Shaw, Sarah liked and respected Shaw professionally but did not love him. They weren’t even using their first names with each other. To Sarah, Shaw was an escape away from Chuck and a means to ease the pain. Being wined and dined, provided with expensive gifts and having loveless sex is better than being lonely thinking about Chuck. Sarah was also retrograding into old relationship patterns and most likely she would have kicked Shaw to the curb after a while to find something more meaningful.
But I don’t understand one thing. Chuck believes that he needs to be a spy in order to be with Sarah, but as you said Sarah doesn’t want him to kill anyone (red test) so why doesn’t she ever correct him? I remember towards the end of this episode at the Union station when chuck says the same thing about him becoming a spy and getting together Sarah says ‘we can…perhaps’ but inside she doesn’t want to be with him if he completes his red test so….I’m confused
Naw forget that. She should of still been with Chuck after she forgave him for no running away with her. He wasn’t a fan of her killing people but was willing to accept her. But she thinks he killed one person and she can’t be with him?? But she can sure sleep around with Shaw and Bryce. Didnt like Sarah at all during the beginning of season 3. Tbh most of the 3rd season I didn’t like her. Sleeping with Shaw??? Really. Ridiculous. She could of been celibate for the time being. She was so one sided. If I was Chuck I would of moved on from Sarah
@@damonestephens8722 sarah and chuck were not together she can sleep with whoever she wants? chuck was dating another girl as well (her name was hannah i believe). also as much as i love chuck, he’s the one who chose not to be w her when she wanted to run away with him- how is that her fault?
@@damonestephens8722 and as for the killing thing it’s not an issue of “accepting” him. the red test traumatized her and changed her forever. she was afraid that it would change chuck as well
Chuck is not trying to be a spy to be with Sarah, at least not in the 10 episodes of season 3. Watch Spider-Man 1 as 2 (with Tobey Maguire), and you’ll see that Sarah behaves just like Mary Jane.
saraj casey and chuck wear communications devices during missions and Casey is shown to have bugged Chucks car the Buymore and Chucks apartment would you be shocked to learn he has his own stakeout van bugged?
Chuck's so charming in this scene, look how Sarah is being fascinated by his confidence. Love it.
Yeah and then Shaw had to ruin the moment.
Is that what goes on in women's heads?

“This isn’t over.” Chuck is right. Soooo good.

3:43 the look of love...
she is so in love with chuck. shaw don't stand a chance
Shaw was a physical attraction, I can actually say she only had a sexual attraction for him. But with Chuck it's different like she said so well.
She dumped Chuck for Shaw. She told her real name "Sam" to Shaw but not to Chuck. She also tried to keep some secrets in the Child's episode. Still she is good. sensible, loyal! NO

Shaw was a rebound, nothing more. He was Sarah's response to Chuck/Hannah. Every action has a reaction.
she told to him her intimate details ( her real name) ,she trust him more than Chuck!! Maybe agent walker meet chuck, but sam was in love with him!!
Bring back Chuck!!!!
Always a funny mix of Office space, the big bang theory and get smart
chuck is so hot

The sudden mood change..
How does Sarah know Private Eyes was from the first stakeout if she wasn't in the car when Chuck heard the song? Very odd.
as I’ve watched 500 times I’ve caught a lot of mistakes...but I still think it was the best series I watched
Every series have their mistakes.
Didnt they use a microphone ear to communicate with each other

You are assuming the song played only once during that first stakeout.
She's in dilemma.. total dilemma
wasn't this 3 x 11?
Yes 3x10 was when Casey went rogue
