I believe Kuh had something to do with convincing Michel to come to Manila, either she was part producer or knew people who bankrolled the concert. I consider playing with Michel one of the the zeniths of my career, however, Regine defines my music career.

Legrand's performance is redundant and irritating although Kuh Ledesma does indeed a beautiful job in terms of passion and conviction. Too bad. When I have to listen to this masterwork I resolve to go to James Ingram's and Patty Austin's version. No comparison.

Agree! Music is not just birit. There are so many genres, tones and musicality in the world to limit ourselves to just birit.
Nope birit is an extraordinary feat that needs intense training. But it is not the only skills that should be trained.

Le Grande shouldve just kept to composing. He has a horrible voice, in contrast to Ledesma's sultry and powerful vocals.
