I typically play "cozy games," not combat games. But I really liked the idea of exploring this beautiful, open world, so I decided to give it a try even though I find combat intimidating. I've found your TH-cam channel to be helpful and relatable. At this point I've completed all of the Divine quests and shrines, and I've expanded all my inventory slots, so it's about time to face the big boss. Thank you for laying out some strategies and letting us all know what we can expect in the final battle.
Please make sure to use the Ancient Bow in bullet time if you want to hit Ganon in phase 2 while he’s orange. That’s the one bow I know that works with and Sherry (sp?) checked for me just now😅. Otherwise, just hit him when he loses his orange body-shield. Some people manage right before or after he fires at you, but I can’t do that as the window is small. It’s easier after flurry-rushing or parrying a laser, spear throw, or fire-ball.
Me too, Lori. It can be a little more stressful at times than my usual cosy games but the sense of accomplishment I feel when I defeat a boss is unreal. 😂
Lmao I have arachnophobia too, but it's only the guardians walking around from a far distance that actually freaks me out until I approach closer. They're quite easy if you have ancient arrows & Barbarian set up (enhanced by fairies)
We finished beating Ganon last night. We never knew there was going to be a third stage to the Ganon battle. Thanks to your video we beat him. We found your videos to be almost always the best at getting us through the dungeons. Thanks.

That happened to me, too, my first time! And I hadn’t defeated all the Divine Beasts yet, either. @@gingersnap5245 Don’t worry about your horse. Even if he dies, after the fight, he’ll be alive again. I accidentally let a horse die once and had to complete it with the Mastercycle. Always fun vids from you! I think the Ancient Bow has a guard-piercing attack and that’s the reason it works for you in phase 2. I nearly always use the Ancient Set for Ganon because it’s just so much faster with that and guardian weapons plus attack up x3. But last time, I went with the Of The Wild set (+attack up food) and Great Eagle, I think, and no hearts other than the initial 3 + 4 from the Divine Beasts, and it was waaaaay harder and slower. I know master mode removes the ability to stun lock him, but you didn’t use that anyway. I would be interested to know whether you were able to use these same strats with a different bow. @Nicole Fallen You are correct only the ancient bow will allow you to hit him in phase 2 from the air so using Urbosa’s fury and knocking him to the ground then the other bows work, thank you! Did you know that you can explore the Sanctum in Hyrule Castle? If you go to either of the doors adjacent to the main entrance, there is a raised floor. You can walk on it without tripping the cut scene. From there I climbed the wall of the Sanctum to get into the stairs. Once on the stairs I could walk around freely. I explored the creepy chamber above Ganon's chrysalis where I could see tentacles interlaced with the malice to hold him suspended from the ceiling. I could also go up to the roof and explore the towers adjacent to the Sanctum. I didn't find any treasure or Korok seeds, though. There was a balcony that I was considering using to attack Ganon, but if I got too close to the edge, that did trigger the cut scene. I have also kept my game in a perpetual state of being the day before the Blood Moon for a couple of weeks now. I beam back to the castle by 11:40 p.m. and around midnight I leave the castle and do other things. That prevents the Blood Moon from resetting everything. Just started playthrough number 5. Decided to go for the nightmare inducing 100% completion. Including the DLC extras. I have been evicted from my home, (nothing nefarious, just the lease expiring) so I have 8 weeks to find a new place to live. How far can I get before moving to a new place?
I have it, just had it turned off 😉 for the video so you guys could see better, sometimes I feel like it gets in the way of trying to understand what I’m doing when I have that big red bubble around me 😜

Upland Lindor close to the foot race check in next to Tanagar Canyon … it actually doesn’t have that much stamina. I have the ancient horse gear on it, which will give it some extra spurs however, it is a fast horse. You will know it as soon as you mount one how fast because you can feel it and then when you take it to a stable to register it, then you can see it stats…. they are extremely skittish in this area and you may want to jump from up high unless of course you want to try to use a shock arrow or an ice arrow with a weak bow 😉happy hunting
It actually only has three spurs … but I just like the speed… Plus I think I fed it an Endura carrot so with the carrot, and with the ancient horse gear is how I have so many spurs😉
I am putting this OFFFF because I suck at fighting. I've watched all of your videos and fighting still just gives me anxiety lol. But blasting him with ancient arrows is probably what I'm going to aim for. I've been guardian farming so I can make sure I go in with PLENTY of arrows.
Okay I feel a tad more confident tackling this jeek again for the 20th time. Its taking me so long to defeat him in the second phase its ee driving me nuts. So I gotta cook up some grub now 😂😂
Get an ancient bow…arrows do not faze him unless you have an ancient bow when he is in the second phase and you may have to get up in the air, I did, but make sure you have an ancient bow
I just destroyed Calamity Ganon. But apparently I haven’t destroyed Calamity Ganon, because the quest will never be “complete.” I just found this out and hate it so much! What was the point of doing that quest when I will not have ever done this quest?! 😭
I rush the game planning to play slow in new game plus but found out that part of the dlc. I started over anyway but that type of things shouldn't be part of a dlc.
The bosses in this game are, by far, the most disappointing aspect. They offer no freedom or variety in approach, forcing you into a specific style of play if you want any chance of defeating them. A stark contrast to the rest of the game, which encourages freedom and creativity. I felt a huge relief once I finally beat the main boss, and honestly, I had no desire to return to the game afterward.

Or the new Recall function? Personally, I'm thinking fusing items to create weapons. I can see SOOO many opportunities to make some amazing stuff!
I would have to say the same, The fusing of the items is like endless possibilities🤣 I just hope it doesn’t get to be too much for everyone
@@WTF-Gaming You just know a week in and there will be videos on some of the best or most useful combinations. There maybe balancing issues at first, but eventually, there will be combinations everyone gravitates to.
Oh absolutely
The crafting part is my favorite because I love to create, I am also launching Link's Garage coming soon to help fellow Hylians find parts locations and crafting tips! Please stay tuned for more information!😊
Just started playthrough number 5. Decided to go for the nightmare inducing 100% completion. Including the DLC extras.
I have been evicted from my home, (nothing nefarious, just the lease expiring) so I have 8 weeks to find a new place to live.
How far can I get before moving to a new place?
🤷♀️depends on how much u play 😉
@@WTF-Gaming the challenge being how much game play I can get in, in between packing 😉
How did you get the extra spurs for your horse stamina?
I know endura carrots can give you some, but ive never seen the blue spurs? 🤷♂️
From the ancient horse gear
You have to have the DLC but here is where you can find it

@@C4... you are welcome, thank you!

I defeated him with just arrows cause I was scared to get close
I’m about to fight him! This help so so much. Love u
i practiced(learned from you)flurry rush am so bad at it lol will get more arrows
I just beat him with urbosa fury it was hard to hit him when he was all glowing orange but I was wondering how to make him stunned
I got him on my first try thanks to you.
You are very welcome, I am so glad it helped and thank you for watching!
Did you have Daruks protection turned off ?
Thats another really easy way to deflect.
Yes I turned it off 😉 but good tip, thank you!
Are you gojng to do Tears of the Kingdom to? I LOVE your explanations. It helped me kill Lynals way better :D
I absolutely plan on it! Glad I can help, Thank you so much for watching!
This game is really hard and takes a long time but it's so satisfying
💞
So sad the game didn't had save option after the post credits
Do you need to have the barbarian armor fully leveled up
You don’t have to, but it will greatly help
Still amazed that anyone can do this without Daruk's Protection!
I have it, just had it turned off 😉 for the video so you guys could see better, sometimes I feel like it gets in the way of trying to understand what I’m doing when I have that big red bubble around me 😜
@@WTF-Gaming yeah, it is a bit flashy and doesn't always redirect things where you want!
I beat all three stages of ganon but it still tells me to beat ganon!!! And showing 14 of 15 main stages complete!!! Can anyone help please, don't understand this!!!
Thank u so much!!!
Lot of casuals in here, but your content got better and better.......
Where did you get that horse, good stamina tho..
@@WTF-Gaming thank you so much...
It actually only has three spurs … but I just like the speed… Plus I think I fed it an Endura carrot so with the carrot, and with the ancient horse gear is how I have so many spurs😉
Now there is one in that area that has 4 spurs and is also fast just have to catch them all until you find it 😉
And I don’t know if you are aware, but if you don’t like the color of the horses, just leave the area and come back, and the colors will change😉
I am putting this OFFFF because I suck at fighting. I've watched all of your videos and fighting still just gives me anxiety lol. But blasting him with ancient arrows is probably what I'm going to aim for. I've been guardian farming so I can make sure I go in with PLENTY of arrows.
I'm farming Guardians right now. Hoping I can do it!
You got this!💪😎
Me defeating Ganon with beasts and only 8 hearts👀😅 just finished last night. Kinda shocked that thunder blight Ganon was harder than calamity
@@WTF-Gaming thank you so much. I'm working on getting the gems and materials for that
Jeez you have a lot of ancient arrows
I go hunting for guardian parts after every blood moon 😉
I just destroyed Calamity Ganon. But apparently I haven’t destroyed Calamity Ganon, because the quest will never be “complete.” I just found this out and hate it so much! What was the point of doing that quest when I will not have ever done this quest?! 😭
I know… right 😜
@@WTF-Gaming does _anything_ get unlocked after “beating” Ganon? Or could I have done literally everything without having to beat him?
No, it does not unlock anything except that you get a star by your save
I rush the game planning to play slow in new game plus but found out that part of the dlc. I started over anyway but that type of things shouldn't be part of a dlc.
Omg thank you so much 💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘 very helpful
Wow this feels illegal to know!
I defeat Ganon on 31st Oct 2024 😊😊😊😊😊😊 what a game ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm frustrated with calamity Ganon
Take your time, you got this💪😎make an ancient bow will make it easier 😉
🤜💥😎👍
The bosses in this game are, by far, the most disappointing aspect. They offer no freedom or variety in approach, forcing you into a specific style of play if you want any chance of defeating them. A stark contrast to the rest of the game, which encourages freedom and creativity. I felt a huge relief once I finally beat the main boss, and honestly, I had no desire to return to the game afterward.
FIRST TRY LETS GOO
You got this 💪😎
