@@xsenpai5179 Not at all still going strong my friend. The sweats have stopped. My nightmares are wild but I think that also has to do with the horrible decisions I've made in the past 😂. The majority of withdrawal is in your head. Sometimes watching stuff like this help. Usually not. The people who tend to make less of their withdrawal symptoms have more success abstaining. The phrase "you might kinda feel like you have the flu" is probably going to do as much harm as good. I've detoxed from everything from nicotine to methadone and Xanax. Yes, there are physical symptoms. But the less you know the better. Sometimes knowing when and if it will end helps but planting it in someone's head that they're going to have the flu for 2 weeks isn't good and not necessarily true for most, especially if they don't expect to feel that way. And you're going to feel good long before 1 year. You're going to have peaks and valleys. Those will smooth out around a year
One thing this man said that helped me quit nicotine was to think of withdrawal symptoms as your body getting rid of the addiction. When I frame it that way, it makes me almost enjoy the withdrawal because you can feel the physical battle with addiction taking place and it feels good to be winning.
Was thinking the exact same thing when I watched this. Nicotine withdrawals are almost 100% mental and dropping in that such and such will happen for two weeks can create that situation if somebody hears it. I found that not avoiding the withdrawals and running towards them, laughing at and taunting them did miracles for quitting.
Absolute facts. At 21 I previously quitted (almost 3 years ago) for 6 months. What I did was only reading Allen Carr book, and quitting wasn't difficult at all and I did lost all the desire to smoke. Then I picked up the habit again due to stupidity and now I'm on day 4 of quitting, but I'm looking at material online and that is making it harder to stay off nicotine. For example, this time looking online I discovered the dopamine game that nicotine plays, and it was easier to quit when I didn't even know how it worked. Allen Carr doesn't admit in his book that nicotine actually gives you a mood boost, he only says that it makes you believe that, but it's not true. And for this reason, right now, I am feeling that I am actually "losing something" by quitting. But it's cool, if I have to smoke 15 cigs to feel that same mood boost because of tolerance, I rather not feel it.
I’m struggling to quit nicotine still….it’s the mental anguish that gets to me…all the while raising 4 little ones on my own and all my family smoke cigarettes…..I get scared of my anger and I get scared of what will happen if I don’t quit..my siblings parents smokes cigarettes to the point where the got sick and passed away from it, seeing firsthand their death and how sick they got from continuing to smoke cigarettes was scary and sad…I really want to break this cycle and don’t want my kids seeing me die an early death because of it and I would never want them to smoke either…it’s fucked and it fucking sucks
The best way to do it is buy a vape that you can count the number of "puffs/draws" on. Smoke it as normal for a day and find your baseline level. The reason for counting the puffs is so that you stay consistent with how much you're vaping even with the weaker juice. Otherwise you'd just go through juice faster but maintain the same level of nicotine when you lower the strength of the juice. Over time, reduce the strength of the nicotine in the vape until you're down to a low strength or even a 0 nic juice. One thing that worked for me is once I had my quit planned I just never replaced the old dirty coil. That way if I was in a lot of pain I'd hit the disgusting burnt vape to get the headache to go away, but it was always unpleasant and I think that specifically helped me quit. at 3 weeks so far rn after vaping constantly for a few years prior. Also nicotine patches work well I've heard.
A lot of it bro has to do with hand to mouth which these dudes refuse to talk about for some reason my biggest addiction it’s hand to mouth not vaping I’m starting to quit soon but you wonder why you see so many old men eat nuts and shit by the handful it’s the hand to mouth that gets you
I've tried many times and the biggest problem for me is my anger. It's near impossible to function at work or around people, there isn't really time or space from the world right now. I want to quit so badly though.
I have a similar experience with sadness and I've been thinking maybe I'm supressing it with smoking because I don't know how to regulate my emotions or how to let myself feel them. I've been thinking about going to theraphy and talk about this. So, even though I'm not sure, maybe you are also supressing your anger with nicotine and that's why you can't regulate it without it?
@Selene Yeah, that's what I hear about it. It's a suppressant. I definitely need to work on my anger, but I'm at that mark where I make too much to afford assistance but not enough to actually afford anything medical related. Best of luck to you though, I hope you overcome the addiction. I'll keep trying until I can't anymore. Maybe one day, it will work out.
I feel yah. I don't even know how many times I've had it in my mind that I was gonna quit. I'm on day 4 right now. have a weird feeling this is gonna be the one.
I’m on day 18 today. The first week sucked detoxing from vape but it gets easier. They say it takes 21 days to kill a habit so I’m waiting. Tell yourself you could smoke but you choose not and that you don’t smoke rather than saying I’m quitting to to try to dissociate seeing a vape from hitting it. Keep going if you wanna quit, you got this!
I wanna say I felt one hundred percent awesome on day 5. I'm sure that timeline is different for everyone. The longer you have used, the harder the withdrawal might be.
I entirely agree. I hve got tons of experience of 2nd day withdrawal symptoms because m super consistent in relapsing into smoking after couple of days cessation.
Been off weed for 14 days and clean from nicotine for 24 hours! We can do this guys. Thanks dr Frank for all of the valuable information and tips. You’ve been a big part of my success so far.
Went cold turkey six days ago! days 1-3 were hard, the urge to get nicotine was immense. Days 4-and 5 were hard but getting easier. On day six now and only little urges but easily controllable. Keep your mind and self busy, the urges subside and become less intense💪 You can do this people
Day 10, the odd craving to vape, but easily dismissed. Urges are less intense and I can cope pretty easy with the wants of nicotine. Keep busy and it gets a lot easier
Day 2 nicoless… would love to enjoy a Marlboro Red. But I won’t, put all that behind me and have moved on. Excited for the future to feel happier more often naturally, the way God has intended us to live. My head is pounding, I can feel my body fighting the craving… what a fascinating and powerful feeling to experience. Thank you for posting this video my disciplined friend.
Been very tempted today but it’s a lot of will power and just temptations from it being all in your head I haven’t touched it at all and going to sleep for the first time in a year with out vaping!! I feel good around half way thru the day I felt very crook and out of it in my own head but much better now
3 months without weed, and 9 days without nic. It can be very hard at times but it gets easier as time goes on. Just tell yourself “1 more day without it” each time you feel like relapsing until it’s easier for you to go without it. Good luck guys!
@@steel128 I got insomnia when I first quit, but I was able to get through it without feeling horrible because I supplemented with melatonin. It really helped at first, and once it had been a few weeks I stopped taking it because I didn’t need it anymore. Since I wrote this comment I did relapse once, but I’m back on track again and doing well. Cheers.
I had to get some wisdom teeth removed and I was told I shouldn't smoke for at least two weeks, or I might get dry socket. I was so scared of getting dry socket that I didn't smoke for two weeks and that was how I quit.
@@theunholybanana4745 I've never used those before. I had only been smoking for a few years at that point, so I wasn't really in that deep and I also wanted to quit, so that thought hadn't occurred to me. Aren't the patches like really strong and for people who are heavy smokers?
Within the first couple days try to sweat it out flush it out of your system as fast as you can if your able to, it will help with the withdrawals a bit but everyone is different. I wish anyone struggling with this luck you got this don’t give up on what’s not making you happy in the long run❤️If your scared for your body and therefore feel you have done to much damage so there’s no point to quitting please remember that’s not true our body’s can heal themselves and it’s never to late to feel better mentally and physically👏🏻💜
Hey!! Going on 2 weeks without hitting a vape after 6 years of smoking cigarettes and then an additional 5 years of vaping every single day. I will say this for the ones who may have had an addiciton as strong as mine. If your brain is committed to it, you will do it. I havent been able to completely cut out nicotine yet unfortunately it still has me in a slight hold. Ive been using zyn pouches to ease the withdrawals, not the best idea, but my first goal was to detox my lungs and gradually quit nicotine all together by the end of the year. My advice to someone who is trying to go full cold turkey is, If your body cannot handle it, it is okay, not ideal, but okay to take very small doses of nic ONLY if you absolutely have to. My goal is cut down every week until I am free. Its very hard for me and I hope I can help at least one person make the choice to quit this horrible addiction. They sold us lies years ago about vaping and they are capitalzing big time from it. Lets cut this out, we dont need big tobacco, they need us. Screw them! My DMs are open for anyone struggling, we can get thru this together! ❤❤
Exact same timeframe as me and I went from cigarettes to vaping also. Heavily addicted to high strength nic juice and constantly puffing. Day 8 nic free now. I broke the habit of inhaling with a full strength patch for 3 days, then cut the patch in half every 3 days until there was nothing left. It was a soft enough landing, Less cravings and less intense already. I wish you luck on breaking away from nicotine.
this is close to me. I'm taking a progressive approach. Currently still vaping but half the mg I did 3 weeks ago and half as much liquid. I've a planning to slowly get rid of it without too much withdrawal. In the morning I don't vape until 12PM, I use nicotine gums during that time. Now the nicotine level in the vape seems to be lower or about the same as in the gums so I'm starting to wish I could use a gum instead of vaping during the day but it's not low enough that it's constant. I will just keep tricking my brain like that until I reach 0mg. It seems to be working. Also I think an important factor is to have 1 room where you are allowed to vape, and not have the vape in your pocket at all time in your home, because I used to chain vape 24/24. And also have a sense of progress, however small it is, steps in the right directions is better than no steps.
4 days free of nicotine, had to stop, i started having seizures and wasnt sure why or where they was coming from but im hoping letting go of the nicotine(vaping) will help
Bro... keep going trust me... I quit December 16th 2022 haven’t had any nic since... it’s gets better bro... “just stay sober for 1 more day” and do that every day... you can do it it gets easier as time goes on... I would say stay away from triggers like friends using nic or things that are stressful that would trigger you to use nic... If I can do it you can do it too... I truly thought I was never going to quit and I did so you 100% can bro
Keep the streak going! Remember what’s making you quit. I want my life back, my focus back, and my actual genuine emotions back and not the “nicotine emotions”. I hated getting in arguments because it would just lead to me constantly vaping.
Picture yourself a year, 2, 5, 10 and even 20+ years from where you are right now and ask yourself if the person you’re going to be then is an addict or a fully recovered individual with a bright and successful future ahead of them despite of past struggles with addiction. The only way you’ll know the answer is based on what decisions you make from here on out once and for all. Set those two versions of yourself in your mind and tell yourself that it’s up to you to decide which one will take over the rest of your life. The days that you relapse and let too much time pass you by are the days you give power and control to the addict version of yourself that should’ve only existed as a distant memory within a newly developed mindset.
Managed to give up alcohol, smoking, facebook, unhealthy friendships, now vaping (5 days in).....feel like i'm always giving something up but I know I have to or everything would go to shit! have to say, quitting vaping is deffo a tough one but i'm sure it'll get easier (not sure if easier is the right word) less difficult maybe.
As someone who has quit for 1y 5mo and 25 days, I promise it gets easier. You got this. I still have the desire to take a hit sometimes, but that’s just how addictions work. It takes time and you gotta start now.
Honestly brother you’ve help me so much withdrawing from weed but Im struggling with nicotine! Day 7 with no weed(cold turkey) and 2 days without nicotine! I want to thank you so much for your content you truly are helping so many people like me overcoming these addictions. Keep up with the great work brother 🙏🏽
Day 50. I thought it would be just 15 days to hang on but now you're telling me it's 90 days. 😂😢😂😢. I've come far now and feeling much healthier. Thank you dud you've helped a lot.
Just reading through these various situations is enough motivation for me,never to want to be near any form of Nicotine. Most people that have relapsed, tell me that it often happens after the 2nd or 3rd drink takes affect and some one around them starts smoking a cigarette or using some form of Nicotine. Seems like it just takes a few puffs to start the process all over again.
It's fine to start again if that's what you want, if you want to vape then nobody should stop you. Of course if you don't want to vape then for the love of God don't vape.
This is what I'm afraid of day 1 here and my anger is why I smoke in the first place so my anger is why I'm scared to quit. One thing I find that's helping me is submerging myself in something I enjoy, even if it's unproductive(mine is tv) I tell myself it's better than smoking. Good luck!
bruh weed is not even close to addiction levels from nicotine. i smoke weed for couple of years then i quit for couple of months without any problems. this is my 2nd day no nicotine, i want to punch someone constantly lol
@Mi Treba Doktor weed is just as addicting especially If you are using carts thc addiction is a real thing. Quit downplaying it to make yourself feel better about quitting nicotine.
@@zStC1 Maybe it is for you. I've quit weed 100 times and can smoke whenever I want to. I had smoked weed for 7 years with couple months breaks once in a while. Nicotine for me is much harder - almost impossible. I'm speaking from my experience. Take it as you want it. + It is a fact that weed doesn't have any substance like nicotine that makes you addicted - it is all a psychological dependence in your head.

Bro! I quit 4 days ago, I’ve tried over and to stop but this time I experienced severe withdraws for 3 days! Cold sweat, hot sweet at the same time, runny nose, stoped up nose, body ache and I thought I was going to die! I won’t touch them ever again this. Thanks for the testimony.
No, but you’re lengthening the process. As an example I tried smoking weed ONLY after work(I use to smoke any chance I got) and I felt stupid and selfish. The high was stronger but not better, I was still thinking clearly, “this isn’t what I want to be doing after a 3pm-3:30 am shift, I need to get my ass home to my kids and wife.” Why partially quit when you can fully send that quit!
@Virulent Ivyz but weed isn't the same as nicotine, nic is way worse, I use weed for medical reasons, I need to quit nic tho, I would love to use cannabis and use it responsibily, I am currently on probation and they don't allow use
@@ChristEnlightenment I was addicted to it… you can become addicted to anything. You’ll know once you experience it, if you don’t, then that’s you and more power to you.

@@healnation9800I think tropical gum tastes great. I’m 1 month nicotine free, so I’m luckily done with this I hope. But it was nice at times to keep me away from cigs.
I used the allen car book (audio book) easy way. I highly recommend it. Been using nicotine for 20 years. Its been 20 days off nic for me and i never really noticed any withdrawls. That book helps a lot. The physical withdrawls are honestly nothing. People make it out to be SO bad but its not.. its all in your head and i was a HEAVY nicotine user.
Those will smooth out around a year
That helps! Thank you

You are enough! You are valuable ! God loves you!🥰❤️you got this!👍❣️
Your shows are helping me immensely, thank you
I’m struggling to quit nicotine still….it’s the mental anguish that gets to me…all the while raising 4 little ones on my own and all my family smoke cigarettes…..I get scared of my anger and I get scared of what will happen if I don’t quit..my siblings parents smokes cigarettes to the point where the got sick and passed away from it, seeing firsthand their death and how sick they got from continuing to smoke cigarettes was scary and sad…I really want to break this cycle and don’t want my kids seeing me die an early death because of it and I would never want them to smoke either…it’s fucked and it fucking sucks
The best way to do it is buy a vape that you can count the number of "puffs/draws" on.
Smoke it as normal for a day and find your baseline level.
The reason for counting the puffs is so that you stay consistent with
how much you're vaping even with the weaker juice.
A lot of it bro has to do with hand to mouth which these dudes refuse to talk about for some reason my biggest addiction it’s hand to mouth not vaping I’m starting to quit soon but you wonder why you see so many old men eat nuts and shit by the handful it’s the hand to mouth that gets you
I never thought I could quit, but I did. Guys its worth it, just push through and I promise you will never want to pick one up again!
It's not worth it for me lmao
@@theunholybanana4745 you lazy smh
@@marcuslatham7000 nah the benefits just outweigh the cons for me
I've tried many times and the biggest problem for me is my anger.
@Paul Durbin Hell yeah dude, keep it up.
Yeah anger peaks! Like sometimes I wonder wow was that me..
Positive Energies to all yall trying to beat the addiction... fighting your addiction ain't no joke
Day 23 is worse
I wanna say I felt one hundred percent awesome on day 5. I'm sure that timeline is different for everyone. The longer you have used, the harder the withdrawal might be.
Props on the quit!
It's so hard for me tob stop with weed but your videos are helping!
The 2nd day is the worst day
I entirely agree. I hve got tons of experience of 2nd day withdrawal symptoms because m super consistent in relapsing into smoking after couple of days cessation.
I find the 3rd day the hardest, but yeah, the first week or so..
15 months 1 week nicotine free thanks to the help of your videos. Keep doing what you're doing!
Been off weed for 14 days and clean from nicotine for 24 hours! We can do this guys. Thanks dr Frank for all of the valuable information and tips. You’ve been a big part of my success so far.
3 weeks later how you doing ?

you really helped me man keep it up with these videos
I deliberately do not keep track of how long ago I quit.I also accept that it remains difficult.
This short just helped me so much. Peace of mind knowing that you won’t suffer for too long. Thank you sir.
@@f4rducky418on day 7 and things are not getting much better. Is it worth it
Day 2 nicoless… would love to enjoy a Marlboro Red. But I won’t, put all that behind me and have moved on. Excited for the future to feel happier more often naturally, the way God has intended us to live. My head is pounding, I can feel my body fighting the craving… what a fascinating and powerful feeling to experience. Thank you for posting this video my disciplined friend.
67 days alcohol/drug/cigarette free! Gotta quit cause I've been consuming for about 15yrs. My goal is stop forever!
Yes, what's your story?
I'm a year clean tomorrow from everything 😊 it's a good way to live, not a slave to any drug...

What's weird is weed is the hardest one for me to curb. I don't smoke all day, but I feel like I need it to sleep
Cheers.
Thank you so much!!! You're a blessing 😊❤
I had to get some wisdom teeth removed and I was told I shouldn't smoke for at least two weeks, or I might get dry socket. I was so scared of getting dry socket that I didn't smoke for two weeks and that was how I quit.
I would've just used patches
On day 5 of no zyns and finally starting to feel better. Almost just caved but so glad I didn’t. All thanks to this video

6 days today for me! It's tough the boring feeling is hardest, slow process but worth it in the end.
How ya holding up?
I’m 5 years vape and nicotine free! I never think about it anymore! It gets easier! You guys can do it!
Day 9 no vape, still craving like a mf
Every time you beat the fiends it gets easier until you no longer crave it
Bro... keep going trust me...
I hope you've kept it goin!! I'm on day 4 right now.
It gets better. I smoked for 10yrs and I really don’t ever think about it anymore. It’s like it never happened.
1 month free and I only felt the mental aspect of the withdrawal for the first 3 days (literally day 4 I felt better). It was deciding the day to stop
How you feel now bro
Managed to give up alcohol, smoking, facebook, unhealthy friendships, now vaping (5 days in).....feel like i'm always giving something up but I know I have to or everything would go to shit! have to say, quitting vaping is deffo a tough one but i'm sure it'll get easier (not sure if easier is the right word) less difficult maybe.
As someone who has quit for 1y 5mo and 25 days, I promise it gets easier. You got this. I still have the desire to take a hit sometimes, but that’s just how addictions work. It takes time and you gotta start now.

quit a month ago. never looking back!
Its 35th day and still sucks, can't get over anger 😢
Headaches???
Try breathing exercises
It's fine to start again if that's what you want, if you want to vape then nobody should stop you.
Of course if you don't want to vape then for the love of God don't vape.
This is what I'm afraid of day 1 here and my anger is why I smoke in the first place so my anger is why I'm scared to quit. One thing I find that's helping me is submerging myself in something I enjoy, even if it's unproductive(mine is tv) I tell myself it's better than smoking. Good luck!
