Just wanted to tell you how much I love these videos. I suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks, and to help me relax through my panics while I wait for my medicine to calm me down, these are the kind of videos I can watch to keep my attacks under control. Looking at those wonderful koi, and listening to your comments on them is so enjoyable and relaxing. Not only are they informative, but they truly help me through some very hard times. If I one day get well enough, I'd love to have a koi pond of my own. Looking at them is so soothing.
I have missed the videos of shopping in Japan. Especially the harvesting of the koi from the ponds in the hills. The calmness of the fish and the care exercised by the workers handling them makes the videos such a pleasure to watch. Thankyou for identifying each of the fish. I remembered most of them.
'Been in love with Koi since I was a kid when I moved to Hawaii and first encountered Koi. I had many places I visited on a regular basis and would sit and enjoy the Koi for hours. When I moved to Japan, my girlfriend couldn't understand my constant interest in finding new places to go see Koi. I had quite a few temples that had excellent collections and I centered my days off to visiting their Koi. Love your channel.
@@KarynMP got a doitsu sanke, shiro utsuri, long fin platinum ogon, lemon hariwake, kin matsuba, and a gin rin goshiki. I’m not sure that I saw a gin rin goshiki in the video though. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow when the videos of my specific fish are sent to me. Did you happen to order any fish this year?
The Tancho Sankey at 4:30 is absolutely stunning. It looks like one of those Japanese paintings. I don’t think there was a fish in this video that wasn’t out of this world? Fantastic video, thank you for sharing
Hi y'all! David Patton here. Nice to see that another shipment made it safely back to the States. This is my third year watching the fish. My Gin Rin Chagoi I got two years ago left for Koi Heaven two months ago. Succumbed to some type of a Bacterial infection. No other fish in the collection was affected, so I'm sad about that but I know I can count on Steve and Jeff in the future for a nice Japanese koi. Thanks for the video guys!!
The koi are so precious. Your videos are very informative and well produced, and for me it is your passion that keeps bringing me to watch them. Just wanted to thank you all for sharing those with us and wish a merry christmas.

Thank you for posting the video. You have the advanced skills needed to grow from fry. What kind of profession in the Netherlands raises carp? What kind of customer purchases koi and develops koi garden?
What a wonderful relaxing video.... quite a contrast from my youtube video i watched yesterday re Farmed Norwegian Salmon.. a disgrace to the human race and basically put me off eating fish for life!!! These fish seem happy and so they should be, and you get great admiration from me for doing what you do... Keep up the kindness to living creatures and your excellent videos..
I'm truly koi lover and I'm watching almost all the koi program on youtube. Because as everyone knows koi fish are very expensive and most peoples are not afforded to keep them physically. If I get a chance to be with you I'll give my service to you for free until I die.
Hallo, I appreciate your your work, I have a question 1: What is average weight of 8month koi fish ? 2: what is a stocking capacity of akoi fish in apond of 50x100? 3: how many months for akoi fish get ready to maturity and market or to be eaten?
I am loving learning about Koi! I know so little, so I hope that it is appropriate to ask if the gender of each fish matters or is it primarily the conformation and the color? Thanks so much for these wonderful videos.

I loved watching your trip over there. I’m in northwest Oregon, do you know of any dealers around here that take their customers on these trips?
Well done. To give us something to look at in these trying times. Always enjoy your videos. Jamie SA
I couldn't imagine the big trade of money for these beautiful kois

What is the difference between a platinum ogon and gin matsuba?
the main difference between an ogon and a matsuba is that the matsuba has a pine cone-like pattern
@@stephensantiago3527 thanks, I’ll have to closely at mine.
nice stuff
Good👍👍

The transport situation was because of Brandon, not because of COVID.
Geogious fish! Have you ever lost a fish during transport?
