The fact Coopers gun which destroyed a plane didn't seem to have damaged the Spinosaurus, and that it was able to break free from the Rexes jaw despite it have a really powerful bite, the JP3 Spinosaurus was not your average Spinosaurus. At this point even the dinosaurs are more like characters which means the Spinosaurus is more like an arch-nemesis or arch rival to the Tyrannosaurs Rex if anything. That’s just a plot related reason for it being able to do what it does and personally I don’t mind that. In fact I think it’s good that the T-Rex has rival species to look out for. It may be the king but not an undisputed king.

Isn't an arch nemesis a reoccurring character to a hero's story. One that has personal problems with the hero more often then not. It would be cool if there was a couple scenes with Rexy and the Spino to show their long history and rivalry. That said I was referring to the entire species of for both individuals as in the species of Spinosaurus would be have a rivalry with the species of Tyrannosaurs Rex. We don’t know if the two species would’ve met the JP’s canon of the prehistoric past but after what they did with Giganotasaurus (having it present later in time and in a different continent) who knows for sure?
Even though the spino was being mind controlled, I dont think that fight was complete controlling from Mr. Kon. He seemed to kind of let go for a bit and let the spino's natural T. Rex killing skills do its thing. But he took back control before the spino actually killed the rex.
Well the spins was first controlled by a soldier and lost to a kentrosaur while kon who knows more about the controls was able to take down big Eaton or you could say he turned auto mode on

I put it in the same category as a man-sized raptor and diminutive, frilled spitter Dilophosaurus. They are category 2 hybrid assets which was made from base dna but with heavy alterations using modern animals. In my opinion, InGen Spinosaurus was heavily influenced by Baryonyx (claw and longer legs), Allosaurus (those horn thingies in its head), and Deinosuchus (robustness, eyes, slight osteoderms beside sail, and jaw strength)

I enjoyed the inclusion of the spino vs trex in cc, but i feel they held back. Sense cc is more focused towards kids during some of the fight they would cut away to something else and show less blood. Me personally I would have love it in the movie but it still love the inclusion.

When it comes to Spino strategy I like to think of it that way: He was mostly not controlled. Maybe guy who controlled Spino force him to attack T rex but stopped controlling the moment two animals started fight. When we look at it his hands are barely moving. It doesnt seem like he is playing any part of the fight at all! Maybe Spino during fight with Big Eatie was free from mind controll but became controlled again after he knocked Eatie down. Maybe controller had some option to stop mind control without destroying it but campers never figured it out. But that's just theory. Also to everyone who thinks that second fight was not 2v1 because Little Eatie didnt do any harm: its not true. Little Eatie sure didnt even touch Spino but her presence alone was gigantic help for her mother when it comes to intimidation. Spino is smart so he retreated after seeing pissed off T rex and other Rex standing in the back ready to attack him at any moment. I think people should stop complaing about fights. The most important thing is all three ot those dinos are alive. Spino has big fanbase just like T rex. When it comes to fight some dino needs to loose. Its 50/50 who would be the winner. Big eatie was actually injured when she fight the spinosaurus and the spino was just chillin then he got controlled but big eatie got controlled while shes still injured
t-rexes dont have a shared knowledge library or something. these two t-rexes didnt seem to have any experience with spinosaur's before. except for the young adult t-rex who died in jp3. this spino isnt anything special btw. theyre just deciding the spinosaur should be a god instead of somewhat accurate
There is also the fact that both t rexes are injured. They fought each other when drugged and when they forced big eatty to fight against the kentosaurus(think right species, not 100% clear). Even if they got medical aid, it takes alot longer then just a few days to heal
I prefer the battle in camp cretaceous over jp3's battle I will admit camp cretaceous season 5 did the battle between big eatie and the spinosaurus a lot more better.
I hated Spinosaurus for a long time, but after 2014 I started to love it. Even looking back at JP3, he grew on me a lot. So seeing Spino return in CC 4&5 I like that we got a rematch and that the creators didn’t kill Spino out of fan service revenge. I really hope we get to see the Spino in the future

As he said, the paleontological version would have been different. In real life, a T-rex had stronger jaws, stronger neck muscles, and legs. the Spino would have not stood a chance, due to a slimmer jaw, made for fish-eating dinosaurs, and a body inclined to the ground and arms facing the ground too.
If they wanted to do a Rex "comeback" fight, it should be the Spino vs the Doe and Buck with them losing and then a full grown Jr steps in and wins 1v1 on the spino. Would have been a great pay off in the long term for the sequel movies. In fact, they should have done that with Dominion.

Jack Horner's input is one of the big reasons why the T-rex died so easily in JP3. If he had the say so in Jurassic World, Rexy would've killed by the Indominus. I think both Big eatie and JP3 Spino got the short end of the stick, nothing about the dino fight was fair, Big Eatie was being ganged up, too distracted on protecting Little Eatie and was handicapped most of the time to really focus ontaking down the Spino, Spino basically got no freewill and was unable to fight in its full potential until the chip was destroyed. Both dinosaurs were handicapped. In a fair fight between Big Eatie and JP3 Spino it's more of an even match, it depends on which dinosaur gets the upperhand first. Camp-K shows that Big Eatie is fully capable of taking a Fully grown Jurassic Park Universe Spinosaurus down to the ground by grabbing it by using its jaws,, it was even capable of ramming the Spinosaurus that it tumbled down and rolled on the ground which is not an easy feat as the Spino was much larger, this shows that Big Eatie is not as easy to take down as the JP3 T-rex, on the other hand, the Spinosaurus has the size advantage being quite larger than Big Eatie, longer claws to grab, the experience, having already taken down a T-Rex before. Camp-K also shows that the Spino was as dangerous as ever, having nearly killed Big Eatie if not for the chip control. So in a fair 1v1 fight whichever Dinosaur gets the upper hand wins the match.
I'm sorry bro but you're very wrong. The Camp Cretaceous Spino is 11 tons. 3 tons bigger than he was in JP3. Big Eatie is 8 tons. Logically she has 0 chance. In perspective the Giga from JWD is a little over 9 tons and you see how easily it beat Rexy who is bigger than Big Eatie. Even Colin Trevorrow says the Spinosaurus is the strongest in the JW franchise. Meaning it's stronger than the Giga and Indo. This youtube video is spot on. That Spino has probably killed more than 1 rex on Sorna and in JP3 the kid says that it literally hunts Rexes. It's just too big. Like you saw how small Big Eatie looked next to him.

To me the Jurassic Park movies have made the T-Rex an underdog, that needs help, which is not how the T-rex should be portrayed. In almost every move where it battles, it needs help another dino. In reality this would have been the opposite. The T-rex (depending on which sub-species as there are technically 3 rexs') had the most powerful bite of any land animal. It was not the biggest, but was a tank, where fighting was it's nature. The real spino was bigger, but was a relative of baryonyx, and lived and hunted in water/swamps (why CC had it in a desert is beyond me). It's prey would have been smaller animals and fish. I think Spielberg made good on the rex's in JP and tLW, and they should have left them alone after that. I get the T-rex fight in JW though. The T-rex fighting a giant unnatural hybrid was fun to watch, like a Godzilla vs. King Gidorah type thing. After JW Rexy should have been just a background dino. I actually liked how they handled her in Fallen Kingdom, but her role in Dominion was garbage. Her fight with the giga, like the Spino fight, happened as the writers wanted vs. what would realistically happen.

I know it did seem a bit cliché to have the first fight come out the way it did. However, Given that the humans did not know how the spinosaurus killed the T.Rex exactly… Is what ultimately spared Big Eadie’s life. To be honest, had Kenji’s father let the Spinosaurus fight the Eadie’s on its own terms; one of them would be dead. But the mere simple fact that he hesitated to kill the big girl was his biggest mistake. Because now just like Rexy, she has experience fighting enemies with longs arms; and she’s still alive to teach other Trex about that. Now that she knows about the Spinosaurus, And that it knows how to kill her own kind; She’s gonna be more dangerous than ever. Kenji’s father really screwed up by letting his ego get the better of him, he underestimated the fact that Trex are vengeful creatures; like we saw in “The Lost World”. She might even see fit to hunt the Spinosaurus down with her daughter if she feels it’s a threat to them. We know they hunt in family groups and small gangs, fossil records show Trex to be smarter than the Spinosaurus. I think if it knows what’s best for it, Spinosaurus will steer clear of Mother & Daughter.

Which is confusing is that Darius then says in CC5 that the Spino is biggest carnivorous dinosaur. Scientifically speaking, in our world, the Spino is heavier and longer than the Giga, but in the Jurassic franchise we still don’t have any official size. I mean some sites say that the Giga is 12,8 meters long (strangely shorter than Rexy), and some other sources talk about a 14-15 meters length. The JP3 Spino’s was supposedly 17-18 meters long according to Jack Horner and Joe Johnston in the making of, but a pretty odd and visibly inaccurate size chart that came out with the JP3 DVD states that the Spino is only 13,3 meters long (it doesn’t seem to be the case when you watch the movie, CC, are just the animatronic Spino that didn’t even include a part of the back and the tail and was already 13,7 meters long). So yeah it would be nice if Universal or Amblin decided to release a definitive, accurate and official size chart for once
Personally, the reason why I think Big Eatie lost the first time is because Daniel and the investors controlled her to play dead but she still lived due to the Spino’s teeth being weak and conical. I’d say at the end of the day, it all comes down to personal experience. Think of it, if you put a Wrestler with years of wrestling experience that’s a bit elderly against a more mediocre wrestler that’s younger and not as experienced with fighting. We can already see that even though one may be in a healthier younger state, one is more experienced with fighting people from his beginner days and knows how to retaliate against certain moves, the same can be said with this battle. This scenario can be put with this fight pretty accurately.
My dude, you say the Spino's sail is a strength against the Rex, yet it's fused to the vertebrae. Meaning breaking its sail can sever the spinal cord, crippling or outright killing the spino. On top of that, its teeth and bite are not even remotely comparable to a Rex, or even a Giga, which are meant for crushing bone and tearing flesh, respectively. A spino's teeth are only meant to grab and hold smaller, squirming prey. Like fish. The only advantage the spino has is sheer size and its arms. That's not enough to overcome a Rex.
5:07 but the spino was not in control, Kenjis dad was. So it does not make sense that spino was using past experiences. It is much more likely that they did not want to anger either fanbase and give both a win in.

As much as I agree with some or most of this speculations, the fight wasn’t really a 2v1 at the end, Little Eatie kinda just wakes along side her mom. Yes Spino was distracted or a little intimidated at best but she still didn’t really do anything. For the first time Spino won the chips most likely amplified Spino’s overall performance enhancing his chance to win, not to mention Big Eatie was already distracted by other dinosaurs to protect her daughter. If it was a fight were it’s normal Spino and normal Big Eatie then I still think Big Eatie wins as she’s a fully grown and stronger rex

I have a solid proof that getting controlled by humans MASSIVLY decreases the spinos battle performance: In an ealier episode 2 raptors were climbing on the spino for like a minute or so and the controlled spino couldtn do anything. However, as soon as the first chip was destroyed by the campers, Spino(who was no longer being controlled) INSTANTLY threw them of like they were nothing. Saying spino won in a fair 1v1 coz of the chip is false. It wasnt rly a fair fight for spino as I explained, but spino still won.
Big eatie still kicked its ass in the end. Little eatie didnt help big eatie against the spino at all, and big eatie was wrecking spino for most of the fight in the episode. what this proves is that spino can clearly only handle t-rexs that are younger and less experienced.
And Big Eatie just Pushed him and never received Damaged at all he was fine but Little Eatie did something even though you don't think so and the answer is easy Intimidation
Yah, it was an unfair disadvantage of getting both blindsided and blind-sighted. The Spino didn't even know what was happening and then it just sees this angry adult T.rex charging at full speed towards it. Imagine getting your brain constantly zapped and then after you break free from the control, someone rugby tackles you out of nowhere and isn't alone.
I realized that the rematch made things worse rather than solve anything. And how the fight went down is still being debated. A lot of rex fans thing in the first fight the Spino had help but spino fans think that the Carno and Bary did nothing. And in the final fight, some people think it was 2v1 while others don't because some think that Little Eatie just stood there. This is very controversial, but allow me to give my thoughts. Regarding the very first fight, we saw that the Trex was overpowering the Spino, until the raptors joined in and it became a battle royale and pretty much nobody won, but we did see that Spino was losing health after the rex was biting him. In the second fight it was a little more even. The Trex and Spino were fighting but the Trex was winning, until the two chose different opponents and the Spino somehow got knocked over by a kentrosaurus. Then, the reason why the rex lost was that Daniel Kon was sending the Carno, Baryonyx, and Spino at the Trex and the Carno and Bary distracted the rex, allowing the Spino to puncture the rex's neck(Not break it). Then, in the final fight, the guys lost control over the Spinosaurus and then the Trex threw the Spino on a tree, and the battle seemed even until Little Eatie showed up, which she did nothing and Big Eatie did most of the work, but the prescense of two Trexes was enough to scare the Spino, but Big Eatie by herself literally flipped over the Spino. So overall, I would say in a 1v1 fight between a Trex and a Spinosaurus they should make it even since there are heavy amounts of fans of both. As Tommy H said, both creatures are now tied.

I feel like T.Rex fans are a bit toxic if they actually hate a single movie for a single scene. The rematch held on to the canon lore, which Colin Trevorrow even acknowledged regarding Spinosaurus as the strongest. I remember back when JP3 first released, everyone in my grade school *LOVED* the Spinosaurus because it killed the Tyrannosaurus (the supposed biggest theropod) and because of how cool the Spino looked. Especially when it could also swim. That's why it's so popular today and rivals the Tyrannosaurus fandom in the franchise. Nobody had that big of an issue with the fight. Just a vocal minority of crybabies that are still making excuses right now from the Camp Cretaceous fight.

If you MUST rationalize the remote controlling of dinosaurs, they probably just guide the intent of the dinosaur rather than micromanaging every move, which would be way too meticulous and would inhibit fast decision making.
Realistically, due to the t rexes tremendous bite force the t Rex would easily win. But it would never happen because the t Rex and spinosaurus lived in different time periods and different continents But if they were to fight in the water, the spino would win without a doubt.
DangerVille should recheck your facts. Jurassic park has three matches with spino vs trex. The second one was in 2015 on an arcade game where trex killed the spino. May not be in a movie however it’s an license issued game made for Jurassic park. Still a win and making this a 2/2 win ratio.
I think T Rex would win, it's that devastating bite, all it needs to do is get some flesh and bone into to it's moth then bite hard. Problem is these two had different diets so it's possible they would be more likely to coexist better than humans do with each other.

I've been thinking about if the film writers wanted to have these two animals fight (yet again for some reason, or they could, ya know, not have a dinosaur showdown, TLW didn't have one and it was good at least in my opinion). Here's what I think would need to happen. 1. The particular T-Rex involved has to win. I know this might sound immature but think about this from the audiences perspective. 6 movies in, 3 of them have a T-Rex fight another giant theropod and in none of those did the T-Rex win without help. Then in the Camp Cretaceous show, people argue about how the T-Rex vs Spino rematch really went down. At this point, people are probably getting tired of seeing the T-Rex lose in every battle, and if they do make more movies in the future and plan on having more fights then they kinda need to establish that a T-Rex won’t always lose. Besides, having a T-Rex always lose in the long run will make people less interested in the sequence. 2. The Spinosaurus involved would need to be the main villain, it needs to kill people, basically act like a villain so people end up actually wanting the T-Rex to defeat it. Basically, do the complete opposite of what JWD did with the Giganotosaurus. 3. The fight itself must be a good length. Maybe as long as the JW fight, giving both combatants time to deal serious wounds to each other and show the durability of both individuals. 4. Do NOT use Rexy or the JP3 Spino. The Spinosaurus from Isla Sorna is loved by many so it shouldn’t be killed off, and Rexy is pretty old, hence is probably why she keeps losing on her own. 5. Death: Should the particular Spinosaurus involved be killed in the fight? Probably not. But if so, then it would actually need to deserve that demise.

The fact Coopers gun which destroyed a plane didn't seem to have damaged the Spinosaurus, and that it was able to break free from the Rexes jaw despite it have a really powerful bite, the JP3 Spinosaurus was not your average Spinosaurus. As Alan Grant said, InGenn created genetically engineered theme park monsters, nothing more, nothing less.

At this point even the dinosaurs are more like characters which means the Spinosaurus is more like an arch-nemesis or arch rival to the Tyrannosaurs Rex if anything. That’s just a plot related reason for it being able to do what it does and personally I don’t mind that. In fact I think it’s good that the T-Rex has rival species to look out for. It may be the king but not an undisputed king.

BTW i know spino never fought Rexy and only fought a weaker less experienced Rex but the principle is exactly the same. That said I was referring to the entire species of for both individuals as in the species of Spinosaurus would be have a rivalry with the species of Tyrannosaurs Rex. We don’t know if the two species would’ve met the JP’s canon of the prehistoric past but after what they did with Giganotasaurus (having it present later in time and in a different continent) who knows for sure?
Even though the spino was being mind controlled, I dont think that fight was complete controlling from Mr. Kon. He seemed to kind of let go for a bit and let the spino's natural T. Rex killing skills do its thing. But he took back control before the spino actually killed the rex.
Well the spins was first controlled by a soldier and lost to a kentrosaur while kon who knows more about the controls was able to take down big Eaton or you could say he turned auto mode on

I enjoyed the inclusion of the spino vs trex in cc, but i feel they held back. Sense cc is more focused towards kids during some of the fight they would cut away to something else and show less blood. Me personally I would have love it in the movie but it still love the inclusion.
I hatred it. Let's be honest here, the scientific advisor Jack Horner has an admited irrational hatred for Tyrannosaurus Rex that is honestly pitiful. The spinossaurus will aways beat the T-rex in Jurassic franchise because it's what Jack Horner want, but even him admited in 2017 that the Spinossauro NEVER WOULD HAVE CHANCE AGAINST THE T-REX, he just did it because it "looks good in the movie", as he said.
When it comes to Spino strategy I like to think of it that way: He was mostly not controlled. Maybe guy who controlled Spino force him to attack T rex but stopped controlling the moment two animals started fight. When we look at it his hands are barely moving. It doesnt seem like he is playing any part of the fight at all! Maybe Spino during fight with Big Eatie was free from mind controll but became controlled again after he knocked Eatie down. Maybe controller had some option to stop mind control without destroying it but campers never figured it out. But that's just theory.
Also to everyone who thinks that second fight was not 2v1 because Little Eatie didnt do any harm: its not true. Little Eatie sure didnt even touch Spino but her presence alone was gigantic help for her mother when it comes to intimidation. Spino is smart so he retreated after seeing pissed off T rex and other Rex standing in the back ready to attack him at any moment. I think people should stop complaing about fights. There is also the fact that both t rexes are injured. They fought each other when drugged and when they forced big eatty to fight against the kentosaurus(think right species, not 100% clear). Even if they got medical aid, it takes alot longer then just a few days to heal
I prefer the battle in camp cretaceous over jp3's battle I will admit camp cretaceous season 5 did the battle between big eatie and the spinosaurus a lot more better.
I hated Spinosaurus for a long time, but after 2014 I started to love it. Even looking back at JP3, he grew on me a lot. So seeing Spino return in CC 4&5 I like that we got a rematch and that the creators didn’t kill Spino out of fan service revenge. I really hope we get to see the Spino in the future

As he said, the paleontological version would have been different. In real life, a T-rex had stronger jaws, stronger neck muscles, and legs. the Spino would have not stood a chance, due to a slimmer jaw, made for fish-eating dinosaurs, and a body inclined to the ground and arms facing the ground too.
If they wanted to do a Rex "comeback" fight, it should be the Spino vs the Doe and Buck with them losing and then a full grown Jr steps in and wins 1v1 on the spino. Would have been a great pay off in the long term for the sequel movies. In fact, they should have done that with Dominion.

Jack Horner's input is one of the big reasons why the T-rex died so easily in JP3. If he had the say so in Jurassic World, Rexy would've killed by the Indominus. I think both Big eatie and JP3 Spino got the short end of the stick, nothing about the dino fight was fair, Big Eatie was being ganged up, too distracted on protecting Little Eatie and was handicapped most of the time to really focus ontaking down the Spino, Spino basically got no freewill and was unable to fight in its full potential until the chip was destroyed. Both dinosaurs were handicapped.
In a fair fight between Big Eatie and JP3 Spino it's more of an even match, it depends on which dinosaur gets the upperhand first.
Camp-K shows that Big Eatie is fully capable of taking a Fully grown Jurassic Park Universe Spinosaurus down to the ground by grabbing it by using its jaws,, it was even capable of ramming the Spinosaurus that it tumbled down and rolled on the ground which is not an easy feat as the Spino was much larger, this shows that Big Eatie is not as easy to take down as the JP3 T-rex, on the other hand, the Spinosaurus has the size advantage being quite larger than Big Eatie, longer claws to grab, the experience, having already taken down a T-Rex before. Camp-K also shows that the Spino was as dangerous as ever, having nearly killed Big Eatie if not for the chip control.
So in a fair 1v1 fight whichever Dinosaur gets the upper hand wins the match.

I'm sorry bro but you're very wrong. The Camp Cretaceous Spino is 11 tons. 3 tons bigger than he was in JP3. Big Eatie is 8 tons. Logically she has 0 chance. In perspective the Giga from JWD is a little over 9 tons and you see how easily it beat Rexy who is bigger than Big Eatie. Even Colin Trevorrow says the Spinosaurus is the strongest in the JW franchise. Meaning it's stronger than the Giga and Indo. This youtube video is spot on. That Spino has probably killed more than 1 rex on Sorna and in JP3 the kid says that it literally hunts Rexes. It's just too big. Like you saw how small Big Eatie looked next to him.

To me the Jurassic Park movies have made the T-Rex an underdog, that needs help, which is not how the T-rex should be portrayed. In almost every move where it battles, it needs help another dino. In reality this would have been the opposite. The T-rex (depending on which sub-species as there are technically 3 rexs') had the most powerful bite of any land animal. It was not the biggest, but was a tank, where fighting was it's nature. The real spino was bigger, but was a relative of baryonyx, and lived and hunted in water/swamps (why CC had it in a desert is beyond me). It's prey would have been smaller animals and fish. I think Spielberg made good on the rex's in JP and tLW, and they should have left them alone after that.
I get the T-rex fight in JW though. The T-rex fighting a giant unnatural hybrid was fun to watch, like a Godzilla vs. King Gidorah type thing. After JW Rexy should have been just a background dino. I actually liked how they handled her in Fallen Kingdom, but her role in Dominion was garbage. Her fight with the giga, like the Spino fight, happened as the writers wanted vs. what would realistically happen.
The scientific advisor Jack Horner has an admited irrational hatred for Tyrannosaurus Rex that is honestly pitiful. The spinossaurus will aways beat the T-rex in Jurassic franchise because it's what Jack Horner want, but even him admited in 2017 that the Spinossauro NEVER WOULD HAVE CHANCE AGAINST THE T-REX, he just did it because it "looks good in the movie", as he said.
So, it's all fault of Jack Horner and what bothers me more is how he keep being hired even when everyone knows about his hate and his bias.
I know it did seem a bit cliché to have the first fight come out the way it did. However, Given that the humans did not know how the spinosaurus killed the T.Rex exactly… Is what ultimately spared Big Eadie’s life. To be honest, had Kenji’s father let the Spinosaurus fight the Eadie’s on its own terms; one of them would be dead. But the mere simple fact that he hesitated to kill the big girl was his biggest mistake. Because now just like Rexy, she has experience fighting enemies with longs arms; and she’s still alive to teach other Trex about that. Now that she knows about the Spinosaurus, And that it knows how to kill her own kind; She’s gonna be more dangerous than ever. Kenji’s father really screwed up by letting his ego get the better of him, he underestimated the fact that Trex are vengeful creatures; like we saw in “The Lost World”. She might even see fit to hunt the Spinosaurus down with her daughter if she feels it’s a threat to them. We know they hunt in family groups and small gangs, fossil records show Trex to be smarter than the Spinosaurus. I think if it knows what’s best for it, Spinosaurus will steer clear of Mother & Daughter.

Which is confusing is that Darius then says in CC5 that the Spino is biggest carnivorous dinosaur. Scientifically speaking, in our world, the Spino is heavier and longer than the Giga, but in the Jurassic franchise we still don’t have any official size. I mean some sites say that the Giga is 12,8 meters long (strangely shorter than Rexy), and some other sources talk about a 14-15 meters length. The JP3 Spino’s was supposedly 17-18 meters long according to Jack Horner and Joe Johnston in the making of, but a pretty odd and visibly inaccurate size chart that came out with the JP3 DVD states that the Spino is only 13,3 meters long (it doesn’t seem to be the case when you watch the movie, CC, are just the animatronic Spino that didn’t even include a part of the back and the tail and was already 13,7 meters long).
So yeah it would be nice if Universal or Amblin decided to release a definitive, accurate and official size chart for once

Personally, the reason why I think Big Eatie lost the first time is because Daniel and the investors controlled her to play dead but she still lived due to the Spino’s teeth being weak and conical. But the Spinosaurus soon got its consequences as every villain has to lose. Overall great analysis!

I’d say at the end of the day, it all comes down to personal experience. Think of it, if you put a Wrestler with years of wrestling experience that’s a bit elderly against a more mediocre wrestler that’s younger and not as experienced with fighting. We can already see that even though one may be in a healthier younger state, one is more experienced with fighting people from his beginner days and knows how to retaliate against certain moves, the same can be said with this battle. This scenario can be put with this fight pretty accurately.
My dude, you say the Spino's sail is a strength against the Rex, yet it's fused to the vertebrae. Meaning breaking its sail can sever the spinal cord, crippling or outright killing the spino.
On top of that, its teeth and bite are not even remotely comparable to a Rex, or even a Giga, which are meant for crushing bone and tearing flesh, respectively. A spino's teeth are only meant to grab and hold smaller, squirming prey. Like fish.
The only advantage the spino has is sheer size and its arms. That's not enough to overcome a Rex.

As much as I agree with some or most of this speculations, the fight wasn’t really a 2v1 at the end, Little Eatie kinda just wakes along side her mom. Yes Spino was distracted or a little intimidated at best but she still didn’t really do anything. For the first time Spino won the chips most likely amplified Spino’s overall performance enhancing his chance to win, not to mention Big Eatie was already distracted by other dinosaurs to protect her daughter. If it was a fight were it’s normal Spino and normal Big Eatie then I still think Big Eatie wins as she’s a fully grown and stronger rex

It wasn’t a 2v1, but it was about to turn into one. The spino knew it was too great of a risk and decided to not 2v1 the rexes.
I have a solid proof that getting controlled by humans MASSIVLY decreases the spinos battle performance: In an ealier episode 2 raptors were climbing on the spino for like a minute or so and the controlled spino couldtn do anything. However, as soon as the first chip was destroyed by the campers, Spino(who was no longer being controlled) INSTANTLY threw them of like they were nothing. Saying spino won in a fair 1v1 coz of the chip is false. It wasnt rly a fair fight for spino as I explained, but spino still won.
Big eatie still kicked its ass in the end. Little eatie didnt help big eatie against the spino at all, and big eatie was wrecking spino for most of the fight in the episode. what this proves is that spino can clearly only handle t-rexs that are younger and less experienced.

Yah, it was an unfair disadvantage of getting both blindsided and blind-sighted. The Spino didn't even know what was happening and then it just sees this angry adult T.rex charging at full speed towards it. Imagine getting your brain constantly zapped and then after you break free from the control, someone rugby tackles you out of nowhere and isn't alone.

I realized that the rematch made things worse rather than solve anything. And how the fight went down is still being debated. A lot of rex fans thing in the first fight the Spino had help but spino fans think that the Carno and Bary did nothing. And in the final fight, some people think it was 2v1 while others don't because some think that Little Eatie just stood there. This is very controversial, but allow me to give my thoughts.
Regarding the very first fight, we saw that the Trex was overpowering the Spino, until the raptors joined in and it became a battle royale and pretty much nobody won, but we did see that Spino was losing health after the rex was biting him. In the second fight it was a little more even. The Trex and Spino were fighting but the Trex was winning, until the two chose different opponents and the Spino somehow got knocked over by a kentrosaurus. Then, the reason why the rex lost was that Daniel Kon was sending the Carno, Baryonyx, and Spino at the Trex and the Carno and Bary distracted the rex, allowing the Spino to puncture the rex's neck(Not break it). Then, in the final fight, the guys lost control over the Spinosaurus and then the Trex threw the Spino on a tree, and the battle seemed even until Little Eatie showed up, which she did nothing and Big Eatie did most of the work, but the prescense of two Trexes was enough to scare the Spino, but Big Eatie by herself literally flipped over the Spino. So overall, I would say in a 1v1 fight between a Trex and a Spinosaurus they should make it even since there are heavy amounts of fans of both. As Tommy H said, both creatures are now tied.

The rematch held on to the canon lore, which Colin Trevorrow even acknowledged regarding Spinosaurus as the strongest. I remember back when JP3 first released, everyone in my grade school *LOVED* the Spinosaurus because it killed the Tyrannosaurus (the supposed biggest theropod) and because of how cool the Spino looked. Especially when it could also swim. That's why it's so popular today and rivals the Tyrannosaurus fandom in the franchise. Nobody had that big of an issue with the fight. Just a vocal minority of crybabies that are still making excuses right now from the Camp Cretaceous fight.

Honestly, the reason I think the Spinosaurus won is obviously cause he’s much more powerful and yes he was mind controlled but even if he wasn’t mind controlled, that really ain’t gonna change anything, if anything he would just kill Big Eatie much faster since he can use his claws and bite, and really it would just be the same thing that happened in JP3.
Imo, if big eatie got prep time I'd think it'd be a 50/50, since big eatie was caught off guard by toro and the other controlled dinosaurs, and she didn't really stand a chance, so it was really fair, especially when the spino was controlled

"Hey lets make the rex fight the spino but get a distraction so it wont be clear who wins!" And "lets have little eatie roar at the spino so that it isnt entirely unfair!" Ect

If you MUST rationalize the remote controlling of dinosaurs, they probably just guide the intent of the dinosaur rather than micromanaging every move, which would be way too meticulous and would inhibit fast decision making.

DangerVille should recheck your facts. Jurassic park has three matches with spino vs trex. The second one was in 2015 on an arcade game where trex killed the spino. May not be in a movie however it’s an license issued game made for Jurassic park. Still a win and making this a 2/2 win ratio.
I think T Rex would win, it's that devastating bite, all it needs to do is get some flesh and bone into to it's moth then bite hard. Problem is these two had different diets so it's possible they would be more likely to coexist better than humans do with each other.

I've been thinking about if the film writers wanted to have these two animals fight (yet again for some reason, or they could, ya know, not have a dinosaur showdown, TLW didn't have one and it was good at least in my opinion). Here's what I think would need to happen.
1. The particular T-Rex involved has to win. I know this might sound immature but think about this from the audiences perspective. 6 movies in, 3 of them have a T-Rex fight another giant theropod and in none of those did the T-Rex win without help. Then in the Camp Cretaceous show, people argue about how the T-Rex vs Spino rematch really went down.
At this point, people are probably getting tired of seeing the T-Rex lose in every battle, and if they do make more movies in the future and plan on having more fights then they kinda need to establish that a T-Rex won’t always lose. Besides, having a T-Rex always lose in the long run will make people less interested in the sequence.
2. The Spinosaurus involved would need to be the main villain, it needs to kill people, basically act like a villain so people end up actually wanting the T-Rex to defeat it. Basically, do the complete opposite of what JWD did with the Giganotosaurus.
3. The fight itself must be a good length. Maybe as long as the JW fight, giving both combatants time to deal serious wounds to each other and show the durability of both individuals.
4. Do NOT use Rexy or the JP3 Spino. The Spinosaurus from Isla Sorna is loved by many so it shouldn’t be killed off, and Rexy is pretty old, hence is probably why she keeps losing on her own.
5. Death: Should the particular Spinosaurus involved be killed in the fight? Probably not. But if so, then it would actually need to deserve that demise.
The spino is also pretty old. Hes over 20 years.
Well i think in this part the spino was controlled by kenjis dad so we wouldn’t know what would actually happen if none of them was controlled

Why spino didn't use its claws
The spino didnt do the neck-snap at all, as we see in season 5 spino bite force is enough to kill a rex, Daniel Con knew that, so he wasnt trying to do the neck-snap but just to bit the rexes neck. If Spino wasnt controlled, he would have probably used it tho.

That fight scene from JP3 mentally broke me as a kid. It was good to see another rex get even with the spino but in a future film or show, That murderer needs to die.

It just feels like the typical "spinosaurus is still stronger" type videos when it comes to this incarnation of the animal
And then that one comment. "Oh it was 2v1" really? Because Big eatie was the only one who actually fought spinosaurus and not only that, she fought a bunch of other animals as well. Then the second was not a 2v1! Little Eatie literally done NOTHING in that fight besides roaring at spinosaurus! Other then that, big eatie was the only one fighting and kicking the spinosaurus's ass in the final battle with out any help which was just a breath of fresh air!
By no means do I think spinosaurus is weak and the t-rex is stronger. I love both dinosaurs and I can see the spino being a tad bit stronger but even then it ain't op or invincible.
But that one comment of this whole, "always come on top in a 1v1 with T-Rex" is just utter bullshit. It is getting so aggravating and old hearing that from people, especially from toxic spino fans who will listen to this and see their "godly" dinosaur being unstoppable
Which to the point I really don't enjoying even talking about the spinosaurus anymore!
I do not see the spinosaurus always winning a fight, especially to a trex. Camp Cretaceous and hell other Jurassic media's like JPOG show that yes the spinosaurus is strong but it ain't invincible and can be defeated by animals like a t-rex!
And I like the fact you say it will never lose to a trex yet it literally did by big eatie in round two. Again little eatie did nothing while big eatie was the only one FIGHTING the damn spinosaurus. Again all she did was roar at it at the end, other then that, it was just a 1v1 with big eatie and spinosaurus and it shows that a t-rex is capable on defeating a spinomin the franchise. Even JPOG sure it ain't canon but with that game it can be a 50/50 chance that either Spinosaurus or T-Rex could win. And I really see that with the Jurassic versions of the animals, it's a 50/50 chance one them can win and season 5 proves that as well
Like I hate that I ranted here because most of you guys content is good but this video was just not good at all and I hate hearing shit like this because this is a thing that literally starts arguments and basically fuels toxic spino fans and hell even toxic t-rex fans
I love spinosaurus but it ain't invincible and for once it was put in it's place in a 1v1 by the king(or well queen) of the dinosaurs.
I am happy at least to see both had their moments for a win. BigEatie is now my favourite t Rex, then Rexy.
Those of you that are angry about the T-Rex being killed by spino in JP3 NEED TO GET OVER IT that T-Rex was not important to the franchise you should be mad about the talking raptor scene that's what kind of ruined the vibe of the movie
