This week, Steve Brown shows us a great way to get around: the Sun Seeker Fat Tad Electric Recumbent Trike. It’s a comfortable, fun and easy way to cruise the trails or the pavement.
The downside to recumbents (and to any bike) is the fact that if you want to shop, you can't. Even if you use a lock, it will still be stolen. That's sad because I've often wished I could bike to the grocery store and back home. I'm sure I'd get there but my bike would most likely be gone when I exit the store to go home. We all know which bike locks are best against theft, but even the best locks are not that difficult to remove from a bike by a thief. I have often wished it were not against the law to electrify my bike locks. It would do me good to see a thief get the shock of his life. Unfortunately, bikes are for fun, not for shopping.
