I have had mine for about 8 months. I really like it. It's fast and responsive. Amazon will support their devices for a very long as well 6 years minimum.

Firestick hands down you can side load almost any android app , But the Roku has less buffering for some reasons

Dont worry, if u buy a firestick u will be presented with the buying decision again very soon. Firesticks break within 13 to 24 months - by design. If they gave you a quality product they lose you as a customer for many years. They feel the best business model is to give their customers junk so they have come back to buy quick.
Come on why do you have this conversation Roku can not put third party apps on or the illegal IPTV, which most people have so let’s be real about it

I have a amazon firestick 4k the old generation and a firestick lite and a fire tv cube 2nd generation and a onn roku tv with 3 hdmi ports and with yellow/white/red connector for older videogame game consoles like original xbox PS1 or PS2 Or Nintendo 64/Gamecube/Super Nintendo Entertainment System
